Cortland Diner

Glorious portion sizes and value. The menu options are expansive but not expensive at all. No frills cozy little space serving up great food.

Expect to pay $10-18 PER PERSON. We ordered blueberry pancakes, corn beef hash, a side of eggs, and the scrambled egg special. All came out to only $25 (including tip) for 2 adults!

Parking is easy.

I absolutely loved this diner, the food was undeniably delicious, the service was amazing and warming, and the atmosphere felt really comfortable. The workers were really amazing and were great with providing things you needed or wanted (I had some toast with breakfast and they asked what flavor of jelly I like, they were amazing and provided my favorite jelly). If you’re in the area I definitely would recommend that you visit it to give the worker and diner the love and support it needs.

To those who worked today in the diner, thank you very much for the amazing food and service. The food was all around delicious and I loved my short time there, thank you for an amazing breakfast and a great start to my day. ☺
P.s the coffee was amazing, it was the best diner coffee I have ever had.

We love going here. Usually once a week for some delicious food and friendly staff. We have never gotten any food we didn't enjoy. It's inexpensive and has a great staff who are always smiling, courteous, and really friendly.

The food was good here. I really liked my French toast and Pancakes. The sausage was ummmm well endowed. The bacon was not from a pig I don't think, but my son doesn't care where things originate from. They go in and they come out. I got the hungry man meal. It was too much for this little lady, but my son polished off what I didn't eat since he only gets my scraps.

Excellent! We called in a to-go order on our way thru town and it was ready in 15min. The person who took our order was patient and friendly. All the items were correct. Everything was cooked perfectly, prepared with fresh & quality ingredients and sizable portions. A lot of diners seem pretty standard these days but Cortland diner is hands down one of the best we've ever had. We were impressed and will make it a point to stop in anytime we are passing through.

Sat at the counter and enjoyed watching all the speed of the workers getting the food ready and out. The spinach, tomato, feta omelette was excellent. I love the fresh spinach.

There is a line for a reason. The food is worth the wait. Great owners with a caring heart. The cook (and owner) makes his food perfect and takes price in every dish he makes. The restaurant's atmosphere is friendly and a home like experience. The soup there is to die for. Eggs are to perfection. Pancakes cooked to perfection. The coffee is great. If you have eaten there, you are missing one of the top places to eat in Cortland. All staff work hard to make sure your meal is just what you want.

Hands down the best place to eat in Cortland! I would have ate there sooner if I had known! The service is great, the prices, obviously the food… and the vibe! Definitely my go to place.

FANTASTIC FOOD!!! My family loves to drive all the way from ithaca just to have breakfast or some great home cooked 🍳 food. Everything on the menu is fresh and cooked well. I give 10☆

Nice waitress staff and great cooks and chef. Great pictures of Hollywood stars and singers really makes it that much better and comfortable atmosphere. Delicious food.

Clean and prompt, friendly service. Dived in here for some lunch during a road trip. Had the BLT sandwich for lunch and used the WiFi in the restaurant (Diner423 was the password).

Sat at a booth which was comfortable and really enjoyed my sandwich. Would definitely come again.

WOW, You certainly will not leave hungry. I had the Western Omelet, with Hashbrowns. It was delicious, and it definitely filled me up. Wife had overeasy eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. She said it was also very good. Service was friendly, and checked in us several times, asking if everything was ok, and did we need anything else. The food came out quickly, and as ordered. Also the price was very good, given the times we are living in. We will definitely go back and highly recommend.

I had eggs and hash for lunch. The eggs were just right, over medium, and the hash had a nice crisp to it. The portion was generous. The Diner is clean and friendly.

A nice little homey diner with a large menu/ something for everyone. The service was awesome, the coffee divine, & the food cooked perfectly to order(s). 👍! A great place to eat.

There is a reason this place packs them in all times of day...fast, friendly, attentive service and plentiful portions of food! Our first visit consisted of breakfast items and loved those hash browns and home fries. Bathroom was a bit messy, but understandable given the steady flow of traffic. Great meal and we'll be back!
