Southeast Nebraska Cancer Memorial

Incredible experience. I had never been before but my mother had wanted me to take the kids and go with her the next time we were in Nebraska. Well, unfortunately the first visit was after my mom had already passed from breast cancer. I was able to see all the beautiful Christmas displays as well as find the brick in her honor. 🩷 The park is so peaceful and sweet. I will never make a trip back home without making a stop there.

Beautiful park especially for the size of the town. Enjoyed my visit. Did camp and it was quiet we were the only ones there and nobody bothered us no loud trucks or people throughout the night so that was good

What a Beautiful memorial park! If ever in area diffently stop and visit. Breathtaking! Relaxing atmosphere. The volunteers did a beautiful job and you can see how much work was put into this park.

This is the most beautiful memorial garden I've ever seen! What a tribute to those who have fought the battle of cancer. To the volunteers who created this masterpiece.....thank you! This garden is a must see if you're in town during the flower season. I visited in August so everything was in full bloom. Neatly trimmed. Flowers were well kept. The folks tending this garden obviously are passionate about what they created. It deserves more than 5 stars. We did camp in the Campground and found it to be quiet and peaceful albeit the trains that go by about 3 blocks away. I would make this a destination stop if I were ever in Nebraska again! Thank you City of Humboldt and all of the volunteers who keep this masterpiece going.

Beautiful, stunning in the spring with all the beautiful statues and the flowers! At Christmas they put lights up which is so pretty. Very beautiful. Thank you to everyone that takes care of this.

What a beautiful garden! I love visiting here when in Humboldt. I always visit botanical gardens when I travel. This is smaller than big city botanical gardens, but just as beautiful. It's a gem and it's free! My husband and I enjoyed visiting with Jim and Jan Wilhelm, the designer and caretakers of the park. They have a slot to leave a donation in the building by the parking area if you'd like to. Thank you Jan for creating this park for everyone to enjoy!

This garden is absolutely beautiful. I stopped there after visiting my wife's grave. It makes me proud to say I was originally from Humboldt. Great things are happening there. My parents and grandparents would be so proud.

Beautiful place to visit. Peaceful and lots to see, some things are even hidden and a surprise to find, which I'm not sure was intentional or not, but the workers did a wonderful job.

The entire park was awash in color from the flowers! Places to sit and paths to walk... all to allow for quiet reflection and enjoy the beauty.

A hidden gem in Southeast Nebraska! It is very much worth the drive to see. We will visit again and probably again! Beautifully groomed and taken care of, nice relaxing time.
