Homestead Restaurant

We were heading to Massachusetts and starving. We just happened upon this place. The parking lot was a little strange but we managed. It was so adorable inside. They even had a couch near a fireplace. The food was incredible. The rice pilaf was to die for. A little pricey but the food portions were HUGE. I got 2 more meals put of mine. Everyone found something amazing. I really want to go back and get a double helping of rice pilaf and the buffalo mac and cheese. Highly recommend.

Great value with huge serving sizes. Excellent series. Nice atmosphere with a real fireplace.

We went there last night for the Veterans dinner.
Initially, I was concerned because the line to get in was HUGE!
They handled it superbly. The line went down fast. We waited maybe 15 minutes to be seated.
The place was packed but again the service and food were incredible.
Thank you Homestead, for going above and beyond to give Veterans a very special experience! 🙏

Cute place with good food. Service was pretty good. Our first time sitting at a bar in months!!! Fantastic.
What's left are the nachos in one picture. They were delightful with real cheese. Wings were perfectly crispy, you can get them tossed in sauce but I don't like to do that so did the dip w the BBQ.
Good beers and ample space. There is a huge dining area and outdoor space, too. I would go back!

Absolutely delicious food, great service. The outdoor patio was beautiful and our server Delaney was so attentive and helpful. Best seafood Alfredo I've ever had and my husband loved the risotto. The cocktails were so good too. Definitely will be back.

The food and service here is just amazing! We came here for dinner and even though the parking lot was full, we were seated instantly. Every single staff member here was very friendly and eager to help. Our waitress was on the ball! Any request and she was on it! The quality of food here is remarkable. You can tell everything is made on site and not frozen. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming! I never saw a restaurant have so many lit fireplaces! If I'm ever in the area again, you can be sure we will be having dinner here. Well done, Homestead!

Our server was excellent. We had 8 people in our party, and she was attentive without being overbearing. The food was great as well.

The Homestead restaurant is one of the better family restaurants in the area. They have a sizable menu. Plenty of options and a cozy atmosphere. Drinks from the bar. We’re also very good. The bacon, wrapped maple scallops were cooked to perfection, and melted in your mouth. Stuffed haddock was phenomenal. Service was a little on the slow side however, it was busy, and I’m sure like everywhere else in the industry, places are understaffed.

Saturday 7/31/2021 , Saturday . We tried this restaurant today for lunch time . It was four of us . It was very good . Our waiter Shawn was very nice and polite . I loved the outdoor patio and the appetizer was great . We got the appetizer that brings a bit of everything . It was a really nice quiet time . I wanted to try this place beaches of this History behind it . It was a lovely place .

My husband and I went with my brother in law (the veteran )and his wife for Veterans Day. We got there a little before 4p and the line was in the parking lot. We were a bit nervous. Once the door opened the line went quickly and we were seated in no time. The place was packed but everything went like a well greased wheel. It was amazing, the food was fabulous and the waitstaff was so professional.
What a wonderful experience and thank you so much for supporting the veterans!

Just an awesome experience with reasonable pricing also. Appetizer sampler was kind of small but very yummy. The seafood fettuccine was so good. It was loaded with seafood 4 lobster claws and knuckle meat. 8 scallops, and shrimp. The sauce was very creamy. Another place to add to my date night list.

If I could give six stars I would. Everything from the maple syrup drizzled bacon-wrapped scallops to the generous prime rib to the hybrid ambience both quaint and chic. Our waiter Sean was most genial and competent above his years. The crème brûlée was the perfect bookend. We will be back next year on our annual visit North of the Mason-Dixon to the Lake’s Region!

We dined with other Veterans at the Homestead Restaurant in Bristol, NH the Monday after Veterans Day, and the place was packed. In the past we had done the same at their Laconia Fratello's location; equally excellent. It is such a great evening, enjoying the camaraderie of fellow Vets, and the meal is free to any Veteran. It is such a wonderful gift of appreciation that the McDonough family provide for Veterans, and the Manager at the Bristol location was beaming with the pride he felt for putting on this wonderful meal, and loving gesture. For those Vets who are financially strapped, this is such a blessing, and for those who are not, please give the staff a generous tip as they certainly earn it. Again, thank all of you who put on this gift of gratitude; the Vets salute you for your gracious respect and hospitality.

We went there with a large party of 27 people( the did know we were coming :) . I have never been so pleased with a Restaurant ! The server I think her name was Sheelah was amazing . I have never seen anyone wait tables so efficiently and friendly. Yes that’s correct 1 server however no one waited for anything . Obviously that’s also a tribute to the staff behind the scenes we didn’t see preparing all the salads and meals etc . What a team effort . The food was top notch from the bread they give you to start all the way to the apple crisp . If I could give this place a 10 star I would . Thank you Mark for a fantastic experience !!!!!

We had a small retirement party 6 people very good service, good food I personally think the steak tips are the best in new hampshire

Enjoyed a very nice dinner on a beautiful, late September day , on the new outside patio, at the Homestead Restaurant in Bristol, NH. Our hostess, Anita, was warm and friendly. Our server, Mellisa, was attentive and very thorough. Excellent appetizers, drinks, and a great meal, made for an excellent day . Make sure to visit the newly renovated Tavern, with fireplace, warm wood interior, very cozy and inviting. A job well done.

Danielle was an amazing server. There was a hiccup in the beginning but she swooped in and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was great as well. I got the Flatbread and the crust was so good and very fresh.

Amazing! This place never disappoints! Wonderful food, cooked to perfection and Edy was a wonderful server! We come from Nashua to enjoy this place, well worth the dollar and the trip!
