My family and I are coffee enthusiasts , quite particular about our roast. This lovely shop did not disappoint. Very robust but smooth coffee. My family had iced americano, iced lattes, mocha latte and iced matcha, everyone enjoyed their coffees. Lots of interesting brews, local art, baked treats reasonably priced and friendly service.

What can you say about your most excellent local roaster.... The coffee quality is excellent and the prices are very fair. The staff are kind and helpful.

So recently had to go decaf and my search has been extremely disappointing with the limited choices and flat taste that so many shops offer. That is UNTIL I came here! Not only do they have a varied selection of decafs their decaf line indeed does have flavor! Better yet, their dark roasts holds up with or without milk and thrilled to know they only source beans using a natural decaffeination process.

Thanks for making my decaf now heavenly.

Phenomenal experiance! After being disappointed for overpriced tea at yum yum noodle bar I was motivated to find a better tea experiance. The establishment was closed but the owner let us in! She gave us fresh chai tea made with real tea and not powder! You also can beat the price! Only 3 dollars for homemade quality iced tea!

The coffee is great, the service is great, and you can bring your own mug. So happy it has stayed in RH.

Very good coffee and tea! Excellent service! I sat and had a cup of tea with a friend and it was very enjoyable. The atmosphere of the quaint coffee shop was very pleasant

O H M Y G O D! This was literally the best experience I’ve had from any business in my whole life. Drove all the way from Orange County for about an hour after my brother’s professor recommended the place to us and didn’t realize that it was curbside or delivery only. Bummed me out just a touch because it was my own ignorance that made me drive that far haha so I placed the order online anyway and it said “usually ready within 1 hour” so I placed the order and just asked the person at the window “hey is it actually gonna take an hour?” And explained my situation to him. He was so happy and he just took one glance at my phone and got me everything I ordered within 1 minute and asked “since you came from so far away do you want a cold brew for the road?”

Never in my life have I been treated so well by a local establishment, even though it was only a few small gestures it still went a really long way for me and I will definitely be a returning customer. (Btw the coffee is delicious!)

This shop roasts their own coffee beans, in dozens of incredible blends. If you're a coffee nut, you'll want to make this place a second home...the aroma from two blocks away becons like a siren song.

Fresh locally roasted coffee beans, friendly service, multiple blends. Even a different coffee brewed each day to sample for $1 a cup. Can't beat this place if you love coffee.

This local coffee and tea shop roasts their bean in-house on antique equipment right in front of you and they supply other shops and restaurants with their freshly roasted beans. They have a nice selection of their own coffees and 15 or 20 kinds of tea to boot, all at very reasonable prices.

I love these guys. They sell high quality coffees for real the coffee drinker to take and brew at home. If you want some pumpkin peppermint spice garbage, this isn't the place for you.

Best roaster in the Hudson Valley. Uses classic drum-style roasters and specializes in small suppliers. Its suppliers seem to specialize in the old-fashioned dry-process method, which is very labor intensive but makes all the difference. When coffee cherries are patio dried and peeled by hand, it leaves an extra layer of skin on the green bean. This is where a lot of the chocolaty flavors are found in the bean. The industrial wet processes remove this. Most of the coffees from J.B. Peel are dry processed. Everything is roasted within two days of distribution. And everything is roasted to Full City or Full City +, bucking the trend towards under-roasted coffee. I highly recommend the Ethiopian Yirgicheffe and the Tanzania Peaberry, but coffee availability from suppliers is seasonal.
