Monarquia Authentic Mexican Restaurant LLC

As a devoted fan of Mexican cuisine in the Merrimack Valley, I've explored most of the options, including some of my favorites like Plaza Azteca, Frontera, Tequilas, Terramar, and Cazadores - all excellent choices.

At Monarquia, expert seasoning and sauces transforms Mexican staples from appetizers to entrees, setting them apart from its competitors. Despite its cozy size, the ambiance is fitting, featuring bar tops that comfortably host a dozen seats amidst large TVs and a well-stocked liquor selection.

The libations at Monarquia are a highlight, carefully crafted with a variety of margarita and cocktail combinations to suit any preference. Service consistently impresses, especially during quieter times.

In my opinion, Monarquia currently stands as my top pick for Mexican cuisine in the area. The restaurant is not just a local gem but a destination-worthy experience. ¡Nos vemos pronto!

OMG the portions were huge, including the drinks, we were not too hungry so we opted for the loaded nachos and they were loaded, unlike most places where the chips to toppings ratio favors the chips this was loaded with toppings. We also got the mini chimi app, and it was delicious. the drinks were also huge. I will be going back, soon I hope.

This family owned Restaurant is the the best in NH. The only way to get better food then this is go to California. The drinks are hand made. No premixed with cheap sprites. Great service.

The place has a family friendly vibe and the food is amazing you can not go wrong with the carnitas tacos! I challenge anyone to find a better one in NH. The staff is very acomidating and they can damn near alter or arrange the food anyway you like. The margaritas and alcohol are in these oversized glasses which is nice when your trying to take a date out and want to impress. The drinks are beautifully made and very fresh! They squeeze there own lime juice every morning the poor souls! You won't be disappointed. Worth the stop.

Again: This place is amazing! I had the sopa de pollo, and it came out hot and truly made that day! Huge chunks of vegetables and chicken in a flavor full broth I would call flavorful but not spicy. My husband had the veggie enchaladas, and I’m not a huge enchilada fan, but the tortillas were cooked to perfection, and the cheese wasn’t overwhelming the flavor of the veggies. The drinks are delicious, and they use more than a thimble full of alcohol, which is nice considering nowadays places are a little thin with the spirits. Service was great, despite it being quite busy, and the complimentary house made chips and salsa are reason to go themselves. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had since living in Boston, and I would say fresher and more authentic than so many of those places. The atmosphere is pretty, blues evoking the gulf, and white evoking cleanliness. The bathrooms were spot less! Check it out.

I absolutely love this place! I can’t say enough about the freshness and quality of the food. I don’t want tons of meat, so my go to’s are sopa de lentejas and veggie fajitas with black beans. I’m never disappointed! They will even make kids burgers and hotdogs if they aren’t feeling Mexican food. The prices are on point for the portions, and the drinks are better than some I’ve had at places that consider themselves bars. The service is prompt, efficient, and usually very good. They have a chipmunk issue on their patio, so be aware, however they did deal with the wasp issue they had last Summer. I’d rather a chipmunk than a wasp! But check it out. Authentic Mexican, really delicious, and very very clean!

Burrito Arroyo with Chile de Arbol salsa on the side is an excellent meal. Nice place too.

This place is so close to our new home so we had to try, and we’ve already been back twice! The food and margaritas are amazing, and the service is top notch. We absolutely love Valentina! One of the best bartenders/waitresses we’ve ever had. She was so thoughtful when we came back for our second visit with our two young kids. Can’t wait to make this a regular spot!

Beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, indoor seating area with a garden patio surrounded by flowers and greenery which was also so inviting. And the food!!!….salads and quesadillas…fresh and delicious!!! Homemade Salsa and guacamole best we’ve ever had!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Very pleasant owner came over at the end to make sure we enjoyed our visit! Wish I lived closer but will definitely be back and have already recommended it to several family and friends!!

Solid Mexican food in a nice place and outdoor patio. Service was super friendly. I was with a party of 9 and there were no complaints. My chicken mole was very good.

Have been to Monarquia several times (formerly El Arroyo- new name, same place/same owners). Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to (including during my frequent travels to the west/southwest). Love the salsas, the seafood dishes, and the carnitas. I haven’t tried other dishes yet but my friends/family have and always enjoyed them. The decor and pace is relaxing; which is very pleasant. Staff and the folks I presume are the owners are great. Highly recommend for an enjoyable meal.

Love the patio at this restaurant, very nicely laid out. The food here is very good, we have been 3 times in the past month, we like it so much. Service is very good too. Be sure to order the side of grilled veggies, a nice addition to any meal.

We have been here on several occasions, and have yet to be disappointed! The food is always fantastic, and the portions are more than plentiful. We love to start with their Chorizo & Queso dip. We have always had a good experience with the service, even when they have been obviously short of staff, or overwhelmed. I must say though, last night we had one of the best waitresses I've encountered anywhere in quite some time, Liberty. She was very upbeat and friendly and she was extremely attentive. Kudos to Liberty on the WONDERFUL service.

Great food drinks and service! There were 3 of us tonight each with different meals and drinks, all different. Everything was very good. It's nice to be able to get some more authentic meals than the usual Mexican-American type. Drinks were also well made with top-notch ingredients. And our waiter was very nice and attentive. We'll be back.

We have been eating here regularly for the past few years. The food is wonderful with a lot of healthy options, plus many indulgent ones as well. Margaritas are fantastic and the staff is awesome. We often will do take out, which is always super efficient. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at in NH.

Monarquia is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. The food is authentic, delicious and always fresh. Drinks are always made to order and the margaritas are the best around.

Fantastic local spot with high quality, authentic food. Bartender even customized a margarita to make less sweet and it was perfect. Great place for a night out!

We have visited Monarquia a few times now and each time I am impressed. The food is always delicious and tastes very fresh. The service is also wonderful! We were lucky enough to be dining during the mariachi band for the anniversary celebration and it was fantastic, such a friendly atmosphere!
