Different Blend Bakery

We had some guests with celiac coming to our wedding so we decided to go with Different Blend Bakery for our cake and it came out amazing! We loved the cake so much we’ve been back in several times to get other goodies, do not miss the macrons! Jessica was fantastic to work with and her team created the most beautiful cake for our day. Our guests were raving about how good the flavors were! We will definitely be back to try some more off the menu!

This is a fantastic bakery. Each time I visit, the person working the counter is nice and helpful. Unless it is a busy time of year, usually around the holidays, their case is stocked with a plethora of unique and tasty pastries.

I have never been disappointed with anything that I have tried. Their ice cream cookie sandwiches and macaroons are exceptional each time I try a new flavor. Their bakers are experienced, and their products are amazing.

This is not the most inexpensive bakery that I have visited, but the quality is worth a premium, especially with the fact that everything is gluten-free. I generally do not eat a gluten-free diet, but I would put their baked goods up against any other bakery in the area.

I try not to visit often, but when I do, I always load up on the classics and try to try something new.

This place is fantastic for gluten free. Everything is delicious and I never have to worry about cross contamination or not being safe to eat for a celiac. I love everything, but the crumb cake and cinnamon rolls are my all time favorite! My family ordered a lemon meringue pie for my birthday and it looked beautiful in addition to tasting fantastic! Good gluten free is very difficult to find, but this place has solved that problem! Cookies, cakes, breads, pie crust... Thank you for making gluten free taste so good!

Many sweet treats that are delicious. Great pricing for gluten free products. Definitely going there again.

As a family we love to take a drive out every couple of weeks coming from east greenbush is worth the drive to try out the amazingly delicious gluten free desserts they have, it’s really on a whole different level. The care that is placed into each dessert you can tell by how delicious everything is, whether you have a gluten intolerance or not everything tastes amazingly. The bakery is so clean and nicely organized they carry local items too which is so nice, picked up some local honey today which was a real treat as well. Our toddler enjoys the baked goods as well which is really nice. The staff is always so friendly and they really take their time to make sure everything is packed well.

This place is amazing. I find it difficult to find more upscale baked goods at a decent price anywhere else. I got a banana bread for my birthday which is my fav. I could tell that it was made with fresh ingredients.

Absolutely loved my bridal shower cake. It was delicious! Chocolate cake with Nutella filling.

Our options for a wedding cake were limited due to the bride’s celiac disease. Thank goodness for Different Blend bakery. We have ordered cakes from Different Blend for other occasions in the past, so it was an easy decision to order our wedding cake from here as well.

Jessica at Different Blend made it easy to put together a design we liked, and all of our guests remarked at how delicious the cake was.

Best sweets in New York State!!!!! Everyone needs to try everything that they have to offer, from macaroons to hazelnuts mousse. It's delicious and amazing!

This place is amazing! It’s a good thing I live a half hour away because If it was any closer I’d be there every day. Presentation is wonderful and I haven’t had anything I didn’t love. Friends have tried cake from there and they can’t believe it’s gluten free. Best I’ve had!

Stopped in on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago and got a piece of pecan cake with maple frosting, so delicious and couldn't believe it was gluten free. Will be ordering my own birthday cake from here! Also got an ice cream sandwich and some candied(?) pecans and those were spectacular too!

Everything was outstanding. Best macarons I’ve ever had. Frozen cookie dough bites highly addictive. Frozen crumble cake delicious. Granola very yummy.

If you didn't know this was a gluten-free bakery, nothing about what they make would tip you off: it's just great baked goods, and the fact that they're gluten free is just an added benefit. Highly recommended for anyone!

Staff is super friendly and always a great selection of gluten free goodies. Always tastes delicious! My only complaint is it's November and you can only order pumpkin pie there was none to purchase. That was disappointing. Otherwise awesome place!

Very high quality ingredients are used to produce equally high quality products. The flavors and varieties are outstanding. My gluten-eating husband insists Jess's products are more delicious than the gluten-containing versions.

The customer service is exemplary, and everyone is treated like a VIP. We've been delayed by traffic on our way there, and they kept the bakery open to accommodate us.

I'm shocked to see a review with less than five stars, and I truly believe it was done in error. I can't think of a single thing they could improve, because it's already perfect.

Completely gluten free friendly facility! I love everything I get here! They offer frozen ready to bake items, pizza crust and rolls in addition to their cupcakes, macaroons, brownies, cookies, coffee cake bars, and cakes. Special ordering is also available! Some vegan items are also available.

I am a gluten free person and everything here is delicious!! I wanted one of everything!! Large selection! The young lady was very sweet and patient with me!!

Family and I have been visiting this bakery for the past few years. Mom and pop shop that is always friendly. The quality of their bread and baked goods is lightyears ahead of what you will find in big chains

It’s probably for the best that I didn’t find this place until recently because I am OBSESSED with their chocolate mousse. My wallet and waistline will never forgive me, but I have no regrets. Their cookies and brownies are also great but the mousse takes the prize!

My family has had the pleasure of eating DBB's cakes for a couple of years, even before they moved to their new location. We are not gluten free and live pretty close to plenty of places to pick up cookies/cakes etc, but Jess does an amazing job in so many ways. The presentation, the quality of ingredients and the end result of delicious desserts, are worth the short drive to Carman Rd. We have had custom cakes, chocolate chip cookies, the macaroons, the pies, and the cream puffs. I have never been disappointed. We have ordered ahead and run in last minute and DBB has always had great service and selection.
