We did an ebike tour of the park unfortunately there were no Manatees at the park but other wildlife is present There is a working restroom and a picnic area with a grill to use. The children had fun using the playground so I would suggest this for a family to use and enjoy for the day

What a great little park. We stumbled upon the Manatee Sanctuary Park while site seeing in Cape Canaveral. The pet friendly park was very nicely kept and offers paved walking trails with a boardwalk and picnic shelters overlooking the Banana River. There are various sculptures, restroom facilities and a pond. Beware of the alligators... What a great asset for Cape Canaveral.

Small park to walk around and enjoy some water views. There are workout stations are nice with clear instructions. The name is quite deceiving since there is no place to see manatees. Lovely spot nonetheless.

Very nice park. It is dog friendly, has washrooms, very clean. Has information boards with interesting facts. Nicely paved walkways and a wooden walkway at the water. You can also view turtles in the water from this walkway.

Great place to get away and relax. Nice walking trail and boardwalk that is accessible. Good benches to sit on and enjoy the trees and other scenery along the bay.

Very nice park, our grandparents live not so far away from it so we love to go there together when we visit them.

Well paved paths and exercise stations. Also lotsa places to just sit and enjoy the views over the water. Lotsa wildlife too. Turtles, ducks, and cormorants in the water, as well as cranes, herons, and spoonbills. Very serene.

It doesn't have much shade on the walking trail, the boardwalk with some shade, and benches. It overlooks the banana river
That equipped with a children's playground, so we should consider putting sunscreen. After morning hours might be too hot for dogs to walk on the ground, they can walk on the boardwalk and require a leash. Do bring a bowl or water bottle for your pooch if you want to spend a long hour. It had restroom and fountain water.

Very nice park. We'll maintained even though we didn't see any manatees. There was too much reflection off the water from the sun setting.

Cute little park with excellent walkways and varied wildlife. I saw turtles and many different types of birds. There were a lot of people walking their dogs and enjoying the sunshine. I did not see any manatees and was told they rarely visit this park. The name is a bit misleading but the park is lovely. Definitely worth a visit! The walkways are not very lengthy and would be great for children.

Awesome park right on the Banana River in Cape Canaveral! Great spot to watch the sun set over the river and Merritt Island, although I have never seen a manatee here. Long boardwalk along the water, a 1/2 mile fitness loop (by FitTrail), a large playground, a bike repair/air station, several picnic pavilions, and full facilities/restrooms make this the perfect spot for kids of all ages! No kayak launch, but there is one at the small Banana River Park just to the north of Manatee Park.

Not what many travelers think but this park is exactly what it is, it is just a park with a 1/2 mile walking path and beautiful nature to look at. It is very clean and if not please help pick up after others. There are little exercise stops along the path. The children's park is located in the center of the park enclosed by a gate which is open for all. We encountered a variety of birds, lizards, turtles, and fish. We were staying by a hotel nearby.

Such a cute park!! I almost didn’t go, was supposed to rain but I’m glad I did! Nice little covered area with lots of seating. Got to see ducks and a variety of other birds, squirrels and turtles! No manatee while I was there. At least none that I spotted.

We took a nice walk with our two dogs one early evening while on a camping trip nearby. The park was very clean and even had dog stations to help clean up after your fur babies. The view and walking paths were beautiful and enjoyable. We visit again when ever back in town

Great place to catch the sunset. We didn't see any manatees or dolphins when we visited in mid-october, but there were geese and a ton of turtles. A great place to walk, as well. Be careful for gators and snakes, though.
