Not sure why all the negative reviews! Have had such a great experience here. From the time I signed my son up to the time he was given his first appointment was within a weeks time. Olivia is so great with my kiddo! All of the staff are truly amazing and you can tell they actually care about the patients. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a place to go for counseling! You aren’t alone, there is help out there and people who care!

Cortland county mental health truly does care about their clients. I have had nothing but good service from the staff. They are attentive and very patient. They are there for you when in crisis.

Thank you to everyone that works there.

All these negative reviews are wild,
This place is great. Everyone I've worked with seem like they genuinely care and want to help you.

The therapists I've worked with are amazing. The staff sincerely cares. I've been going for four years, and it's hands-down the best mental healthcare I've received.

One of the worst mental health establishments. The lsmw and the pass two n.p have been practicing malpractice and no one bats an eye. Jessie Harris, Dr MacGregor, and Deborah bearman-tasman are all jokes they also kick you out for any form of complaints against staff!! The whole head there is a complete joke herself too. Stay away from them if you need mental health help please seek another facility!!!

I'd give this place a zero. "Doctor" MacGregor is a joke. As for T.J. Bottle, he is the most lazy counselor I've ever seen. I tried for years to be properly diagnosed. Even exclaimed numerous times to numerous counselors that I had a form of O.C.D. Not one looked into it. Finally after 5 years I've been diagnosed with O.C.P.D.; no thanks to CCMH. Ph.D MacGregor should be fired. Lied straight to my face and went on, and on, about all the "books" she's written and 8 year degree. But couldn't notice I had O.C.P.D. and believe me it's NOTICEABLE.

One star cus my therapist is nice. Otherwise I'd say 0. They have no psychiatrist for 1! The nurse Mary lied straight to my face about that. The nurse practitioner completely cut me off my anxiety meds without weening me off them, so now I'm going through awful withdrawals, she also wasn't listening to what I was saying at all must be because I strongly believe she completely misdiagnosed me, guessing they never got all the information from my last mental health facility as my therapist said they would. I'm definitely going to find a new place to go to now. I've never had a nurse (Mary) be so disrespectful and rude to me about a medication that I'm dependant on, also seemingly very judgemental that I use to have a problem with opiates. These people don't know what they are doing and I will not take advice or listen to a nurse practitioner for meds or a diagnosis. That's what A PSYCHIATRIST is for! They will lie to you that they even have one...try to swing around all your questions!

This place is just awful, the people here are rude and even laughed at me while i was having a panic attack, do yourself a favor and NEVER go here it is just an awful place. they will even mess with your dosage without telling you and then say "i will not discuss this further" this is the worst mental health clinic i have been to in the last 10 years AVOID IT

i would give his place a 0. do not ever go there. they are rude, inconsiderate, and do not care if you are on a medication that can kill you. if you miss appointments they kick you to the curb. they are very cruel. find a better place to go.

Hands down the absolute worst counselors ever, it seems their goal is to make you want to kill yourself rather than help you. Out of respect for yourself as a human, don't go there.
