Pierce Preserve and trails

Nice park area trail starts here and there is a map on the bulletin board. New parking lot with planted trees. I see there a waterfall on the trail. It’s a hike!

Splendid trails, two very different vibes, @ the main split R will take you through forest and L will take you to gorgeous tree lined wild fields.

Well maintained, but it's nature and it grows back in places quickly. Great stroll!

Beautiful hiking. Easy to navigate the trails. One thing to be cautious of is ticks. We had several ticks on us after the hike. Nothing some tick spray won't fix prior for the next time I go there.

Excellent prairie-type hiking.. easy to navigate trails.. just no garbage cans at entrance to dispose of doggy waste.. No water fountains either.. so go prepared.. beautiful and peaceful and not a lot of traffic.. my doggy and I love it!

Wear pants! Tons of ticks. Beautiful stay hydrated. Long trails

We just discovered this place and only hiked one trail, but it was lovely and a fairly easy path.

Beautiful place especially the creek wish somebody keeps messing up the Rocks leave the Rocks alone in the creek

They should put a garbage can by the parking lot

They should drop some kind of insecticide over the entire county! I don't care if it kills every lightning bug , butterfly, and honey bee. And. It wouldn't bother me if they sprayed some agent orange, too ! I just want to walk through a baron landscape and enjoy nothing .just like walking on my treadmill... only outside.
Get a grip, people ! It's a nature preserve and trail ! Not Planet fitness with 3d goggles !
Pro tip . Go in January. When it's too cold for house flies.

Few trails. One of the trails has a tunnel under road which is pretty neat. Lots of open field, which is a nice change from trail through woods sometimes. Mass ticks though. Last time I pulled 9 off of me, today I pulled 6 off my dog and 5 off of myself

Lovely scenery, nicely mowed paths, we’ll maintained. However, we did not adhere to the past reviews. The adventure was full of ticks for my wife and our two dogs. 20+ ticks between the four of us with in a 30 minute hike. 5/31/2022

Trails are nice but there are lots of ticks on the field trails

Ticks. Ticks. And more ticks. Picked six off me and nearly 30 of my two dogs.

Be extremely cautious of ticks!
