Damn near half the price of any other company out there was able to get the job done quickly and they were extremely professional. I would highly recommend.

I used Siferd to come unblock a toilet, they came up with all things that needed to be done, they charged me $2,200 to repair, I was happy to pay, but I didn't know they hadn't fix it, calling them back they wanted another $1,900 so no way was I getting screwed again, Roto-Rooter came out today had it working within 30 minutes for such a small cost but great work, so please people out there only use Roto-Rooter, Siferd is a rip off.

Very professional and on time. He made sure everything was flowing smoothly before he was done and we would highly recommend roto rooter for the job to be done right the first time.

Called on a Friday, after noon. They came out same day. Fixed the major issue as well as another minor issue I was planning on tackling myself.

Overall the issue was fixed, BUT I had to pull teeth to get them to even show up. Although I read reviews of lots of no shows, it was a Sunday and I was desperate! The first day (Sunday) I called, they said they would send someone out and with no surprise, it was a no show with no call to let us know. The next morning I called back and he said they would be there at 9. At 9:30 they show up and unclog the drain. The employees seemed professional, hard working, and knowledgeable in the field, but their boss man was going to still charge $50 for a travel fee and $200 for the 30min it took to unclog the drain. Because it is Roto Rooter I anticipated the price to be higher then a local plumber, but being charged a travel fee after all of that? Really? After talking to him on the phone he was willing to take the travel fee off due to what happened the day prior. If possible, next time I’m waiting for a local plumber to open up after the weekend instead. I WOULD ONLY USE ROTO ROOTER IN FINDLAY AS A LAST RESORT. And even at that, be prepared for a no show.

My first experience with Roto Rooter when I purchased a home went excellent, they were well represented by their employee and their service was professional. This led me to contact them for a recent problem with my home, and this is where I will no longer recommend them to the city of Findlay.

First off upon the first visit their employee has a short attitude as if he just cannot stand his job. Obviously I can understand your unclogging peoples waste. But that does not give you the right to carry yourself the way this employee did infront of the consumer. Backwards sideways hat. Short arrogant answers and attitude to go along with his joe cool dress style. If you hate your job so much look for a new one you applied to Roto Rooter for a job they didnt contact you. Its your choice to work there or not work there.

I called to have a return visit the following week as our drains still were draining slowly the following week. This same employee returned and on top of that it was raining and they drove through my yard leaving a rut by my driveway because he needed to get around my mothers car. Park your van on the street then, there was plenty of parking there. I get called home from work I was doing because my wife was upset at how he was treating her now upon arriving home I see this same man and another employee snaking our drain. Same short attitude, same unprofessional look. Telling my wife that this time its not tree roots but feminine products and disposible wipes being used and that they would normally charge for this since it was not the same cause as the week prior, but were not going to and just were going to give us a "Warning." I am sorry but my wife has not had natures monthly gift in awhile as she is currently breast feeding and had a child. Secondly we use no disposible wipes in this house, nor are any feminine products here.

Tempers from both sides elevated between my wife and this employee before I finally stepped in and politely asked the guy to please pack up and leave and to not say another word to my wife. I told him I was going to contact his manager and got the joe cool go ahead as he packed up.

Thinking he had any form of power in the situation walks back up to my door and now leaves a bill for what he said was not going to be charged to us. Coorporate and their management team at their local store were contacted and their employee simply stated to his boss that he does not know why people were upset with him and that he just got the heck out of there.

If you like companies where the inmates run the asylum and the customer is not right go with them. If you like your character to be questioned and to be treated like your a hassle even though their 20 minute job costs $145 go with them.

Appointment was at 10am and they ended up showing up around 1:30pm. Needed them to snake my toilet drain(s) as they were not flushing. I specifically said I wanted a new flange on the front toilet as I’d believed it was damaged to begin with. I agreed to pay the price for it. Charged me $600 for their service and the front toilet isn’t even bolted to the floor anymore. I pulled the bolt up with my bare hand. Called back after the weekend and asked if they could come back out to fix it. They said they would come 9am the next day and never showed up. My toilet is leaking everywhere now and is much worse than it was before. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Scheduled an estimate, received a call that the plumber was running late and I would be called when he was on his way. Two hours later, and an hour past my appointment, I had not received a call. I called them and dispatch told me that the plumber was still busy but he would call me within the hour. One hour later still no call. I rescheduled the appointment. On day of next appointment I received no call during my appointment time. I call them and was told that the plumber was busy and that I would receive a call shortly. It never came. I canceled the order and will find a plumber who wants to work.

The guy on the phone promised to send someone out to one of my rentals three days in a row. No show each time. After being frustrated enough, I called a different company to help out. Will never call this place again.

This well named company never showed up for scheduled appointment.
Never returned call either. That's why they are only a 2 star company. What a joke.

I contacted a listed Roto Rooter plummer in Findlay Ohio. He scheduled next morning service, but never showed up and didn't call to alert to being late, or reschedule. His cell phone doesn't identify with Roto Rooter as the Google listing does. National Roto Rooter website and contacts were sadly very, very unprofessional, no help. Sadly, roto rooter seems to have Left The Building!! Don't waste your time. I called my local plummer instead, he is coming to the rescue where Roto Rooter Failed to do so.

Really needed them to pull through on this one and they knew we needed it done as fast as possible. We were told we needed a clean out and that it would be $4,000! A small local plumber came in and fixed the problem very quickly for $175. No clean out needed and that was never the issue. Also the local plumber mentioned that if we needed a clean out it would be $500-$800. Heard this has happened to many other people and when you threaten to sue them, they return the money. They KNOW they are overcharging.

The guy that owns this company is UNPROFESSIONAL, he is a landlord and walked into my daughter's moms' place without contacting her and went in her belongings and now he's threatening to evict her because shes backed up on rent... she's only backed up is because when we moved in there in 2020 he NEVER came out to repair anything in which she made a check list and gave it to his ASSISTANT, she's been trying to put food in the refrigerator for our children but can't because the refrigerator does not work and the stove shocked her twice ALREADY...

Hung up on me, did not show up, said they showed but had been waiting at the house over 2 hours with no one ever showing up. Tried to call back, now they are ignoring my calls. Do not use, not professional.

Sure they fixed the clogged drain. But they were very fiddly with the work, tried everything, caused leaks, walked around the house with wet shoes, and made a mess where it didn't belong.

This Findlay branch is ran by Dr.Drain Plumbing and Excavating out of Cygnet Ohio. I highly recommend calling another local company.

After two scheduled appointments (spanning 4 hours each) and no one showing up, I’m done with Roto-Rooter. Save your time and find another company.
