I had contacted Mr Shaffer on the phone and was set an appointment. When I went to that appointment I was made to feel better about my situation. His process that he goes through made it very easy and once we had paid his fee and turned in all required paperwork on a second visit with both myself and the wife it was set! He gave us what we feel was excellent advice on what to do and explained everything and why. When we went to our meeting he was very professional. And everything was as he said and even advised us on additional information that we hadn't realized.

Mr. Shaffer is great. His free consultation is very in-depth and he really seems to get a sense of what needs to be done before he schedules you to come in. He breaks everything down so it is easily understood. He gives a clear timeline of what he intends to do and has been very understanding- there isn't a condescending vibe at all (I've felt this when talking with other attorneys). We are still in the process of filing and I intend to update this at a later date, but if you are thinking about filing for bankruptcy, talk with Mr. Shaffer.
