The food 😋 was delicious and authentic. The staff nembers are ver friendly and inviting. The homemade drinks are the best !

The jerk chicken was excellent and the curry goat was out of this world. I will definitely be back !!!

This is my favorite Jamaican spot; the food is absolutely incredible. When I come here I always ask Darnell what she recommends I get that day. That’s literally how good everything is. My favorite is the cow foot soup though. Sat is pork ribs.

The food at Sweet Spice is excellent. Great quality, fresh, flavorful, portions are good and the service is outstanding. Every time I've visited, the staff has been very pleasant, personable, professional and promptly assist. Best and most authentic stew chicken I've had outside of Jamaica. Highly recommend.

I’ve tried every single Oxtail spots in New Rochelle and hands down, this restaurant takes the crown. Rice and beans were on point, oxtail was flavorful and excellent portion. 5/5

You cannot go wrong with any of the meat options here. However, I've had a time or two when the the meat was a bit too salty. Fortunately, this does not happen often. The great thing about this place is that most of their meat options are very affordable.

Their breakfast porridges are great as well. I believe that they do a mix of oats and plantains/bananas. Whatever it is, it tastes good!

And their fried dumplings are always great. They are never oily and rarely ever doughy. But, they always have that perfect crisp crunch throughout the dumpling. And for 50 cents per dumpling, try not to get carried away. 😂

The mac and cheese and BBQ wings (when they had them) are/were pretty decent as well and you get a good serving with both of them.

Their soups are also pretty good but can be hit or miss. I like the red peas soup and chicken soup. Their cow foot soup is okay sometimes and their goat head soup is good sometimes and overpoweringly strong on some days. But most of the time, their soups are good.

If I have to add a criticism, it's that the cabbage could use a bit more flavor and they could give a bit more food sometimes. But honestly, this is me nitpicking because the portion sizes are still good and the cabbage is still decent.

This is an easy to miss place if you're not paying attention since it is the last store on a private road on a busy street, but just catch the corner and you'll have a good experience!

Oh, and the workers are great! They never have an attitude and are always kind and speak with the customer. So, do give this place a try! 😋

Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming , and it’s also the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had. Cant go wrong.

God bless the hands that made this food! So good it hits the soul! We had the stew chicken, oxtail,curry chicken, and curry goat. Absolutely everything was decadent and made with love.

Their food never lets me down. I used to travel over an hour to get Sweet Spice. Thank you too everyone working there. you guys are always so kind.

Went in for the first time a few weeks ago bc I’m tired of Golden Crust & ordered oxtail with rice & peas & veg. The food is delicious & flavorful, definitely a nice change from the other three Caribbean restaurants in New Rochelle. The two women who serving that day were so nice & welcoming I will be back again!

Great BBQ food in a comfortable setting. It’s easy to park and the prices were very reasonable. I had a plate with Jerk Chicken. It came with rice , beans and a vegetable. After lunch the owner came over to my table with a sample of Jerk Goat. It was excellent. Friendly vible and good music. They BBQ the food in plain sight. Good fun and good comfort food.

This food is really good has really juicy chicken oxtail is very tender the service is amazing always has a good little party/vibe going on I recommend this place!!!

Looks like a grandma kitchen when you go in. A little to homie for me but the food was top notch. Will order again

I've had food at some great places but this was outstanding everything was fresh and delicious I had a chicken patty with coco bread🤗 was for sure top 3 for me.
Peanut juice was so fresh and the sorrel was to died for the jerk chicken was on point and the rice and peas omg I'm for sure going back I wish I could give more stars

Every dish is delish...my personal favorite are The Stew, Fried chicken & The oxtail....(Amazing)
The rice is flavorful & fluffy, w/ the perfect amount of moisture..... service is quick & efficient...!!
