Iron Skillet

Great place to eat. The food was good. Nothing too exciting. However the service was amazing and the prices were good. We stopped twice over the weekend both with large groups of people and the wait for food was short and our server was amazing! Can’t wait to go back in May.

Service was just great we didn't have to ask for anything except a To-go container their waitresses we're on top of it and the food was just fantastic, my boyfriend and I were fully satisfied.

Absolutely surprised with this little hidden restaurant! Service was great and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend 👌

Food was good, A very nice and clean 24 hour diner. I was most impressed with our server she was great! Our food came out right away and my glass was refilled several times. She was extremely attentive.

This has always been our favorite spot to stop on our way to or from Wisconsin Dells. I was disappointed that they no longer have their buffet. I suppose Covid is to blame for that. I decided to stay and ordered off the menu for the first time. I ordered the jalapeño burger. It was good

I haven't been in here for at least 15 years...my expectations wasn't very high just from, well everyone knows what I'm talking about lol...food was very good..I really wish the buffet would come back 😕..the young lady that Waited on me was very nice..I made sure she knew I appreciated her..hard to find anymore...thanks again

This is a great stop. Neat place with a canoe hanging from the ceiling. I had dinner at the restaurant tonight. I recieved fast and friendly service immediately. My food was brought out promptly! Everything was good. I miss the salad bar. The salad was kinda lame but other than that everything was good.

Five star all the way around. The food is what matters and with excellent service too, I would put this place up against any five star restraunt. It is American food but the taste is superior. I have been here twice and both times PERFECT.

You'll need GPS to find it, but it's a regular stop for me when traveling to the Dells.

The server was friendly, prompt, and checked on us periodically. She would look at the empty creamers on the table but didn't clear them. Trivial, in my opinion. She was wonderful.

I had steak, eggs, hash browns with onion&real cheddar on top.. Food was hot and cooked to order. Delicious, fairly thick (1"?), tender, steak, that was not marbled with fat or riddled with gristle. Hash browns were crispy and the onions perfect inside.I opted out of getting the pancakes or toast that came with the meal.

They may have been short-staffed in the kitchen that day -- It took longer than expected for the amount of customers.

Atmosphere? As far as truck stops are concerned, it was clean and has a functionally warm feeling inside, with smallish window views of the interstate and parking lot.

Always parking available even in the late night good omelettes and massages seats there is subway and lot to see

1 waitress and 1 cook. Great Comfort Food.

I met a friend there I had not seen in years. We were able to relax and talk and catch up with no pressure to leave. Our waitress was kind and friendly. We enjoyed our soup and salad and had no pressure o move on. She even took our picture for us.

Meatloaf dinner must've been a full pound! Delicious!

Food was amazing, waiter was really sweet and nice. Definitely coming again in the future!

The steak was surprisingly fantastic. Chef was able to hit a perfect rare and the flavor was good. Tots were crispy, overall was a good meal. Definitely the best steak I've had from a large chain truck stop though.

Outstanding service and the food was very good. A lot for the money. The place was spacious and very clean. Easy to get to from interstate as well. Would recommend.

Man let me tell you, I love the iron skillet. The decor makes me remember back to simpler times waiting for a hot bowl of oatmeal’s at my grandmas while I play with the train set. I love that train set. Grandma Gene was the nicest lady you could ever meet. She always had a smile on her face and a fresh bowl of oatmeal ready for me when I was done playing with my trains. Grandma Gene died to young. RIP Grandma Gene. Anyway the food was good. I WILL BE BACK

Its actually a decent restaurant for a truckstop dining option! Quick and friendly service. Doesn't take the long to leave the kitchen on the way to your table!
