Amy May's Downtown

Love this place it was earthy and the staff was amazing, the owners Nick and Amy are wonderful host . The food and drinks were on point and the live music was a bonus.
I can't wait to get back that way was one of the best times I had in a long while.
Having food withdraws,,,, that girl can cook.

This place is AWESOME! The staff is great. The food is great. If you go later, there is a live band most nights. I've tried most of the menu and the food is fantastic. The only bad thing I can say about the place is there is no beer on tap. They do have a wide selection of bottles and cans, though. Go hungry or be prepared to take food home. Meal portions are large.

Came in late at night, the kitchen was closing and the owner personally went back and made our tacos. We appreciated it so much and she always checks to make sure everything is great! Best tacos hands down. Will be back again! *Taco happy dance*

Great environment, they make you feel at home from the time you walk through the door. The servers are second to none.
You'd be hard pressed to find nicer business owner than Amy. The food speaks for itself, best food in town and you don't walk away hungry.
The live entertainment is always great.

Walked in trashed, asked for something from the kitchen that was "salty but chewy (without cheese)." Owner herself picked a pork bowl catered to hit-the-spot. Chill place with 90s-2000s music with a tight-knit local commune. Pretty good respite in Downtown.

This has become my favorite spot in Findlay for live music, cold drinks, and great food. I can’t say enough good things about Amy May or the folks who work here like (in the order that I met them) Jess, Destiny, (Amy’s husband) Nick, Britt, Angel, Paige, or (Amy’s son and co-chef) CJ. I started going to Amy May’s taco truck years ago, and I recognize a lot of the recipes…things that used to be daily specials available once-in-a-while on the truck are now regulars on the menu, like my favorite, the monster grilled burrito smothered in queso. Menu items like the California burrito or chicken elote nachos, as well as daily/weekly specials like steak with an elote-smothered baked potato or the (so-amazing-I-just-ordered-it-two-nights-in-a-row) carne con papas, are all top-notch. I haven’t missed a Taco Tuesday in the last month ($2 tacos and $4 margaritas can’t be beat). A lot of times, the food comes out looking better than photos online. The service is great, the folks here take care of you as well as anywhere I’ve ever eaten, and they’re not kidding when they say this place is like family. There’s a really tight-knit community here…owners, staff, customers, it’s great. There are clearly folks online who disagree with this assessment, and if you’re looking for a quiet, low-key place or somewhere where everyone will echo your political sensibilities, this may not be the right fit for you. But personally, for a night with delicious food, great music, and fun company, I’ve never been anywhere better!

Yum-mazing!! Came to celebrate my 40th birthday. Food was delicious. Margarita flight, appetizer (jalapeno poppers), dinners, dessert (apple chimi). Kids and adults all devoured their food. Amy was so friendly and generous. Great customer service and tasty, unique food. Will definitely be back!

The chili burrito was out of this world deliscious. And large enough to take half in a box for tomorrow. The waitresses have class and suggested trying the homemade chili combination with burrito.. She was right about it being terrific . I will be again soon to try the other menu choices.

I was just in there. I've had tacos all over the USA and Amy nailed the birria tacos. Spot on. Awesome customer service. I was only in there to pick up my take out but Amy and the bartender we're great. Super friendly. Keep it up. You got something special going on

Amazing authentic food, Amy's is definitely the best restaurant in Downtown Findlay. Not only is she passionate about her food but her customers as well. The work her and her team put in is absolutely incredible! I'll never get tired of eating here👐🏼👐🏼

Great food and huge portions. The spicy salsa will make ya sweat! The wife loved her drink the "minivan". And Paige was an awesome server. We'll definitely be back.

Large portions and delicious food. I had the Veggie Bowl twice now. I chose half carnitas and half chicken. It was fabulous. My husband got the Surf and Turf quesadilla , and my sister-in-law had the Cuban quesadilla. Both of those were fantastic. They have the best patio in downtown Findlay with live music most nights. The musicians we’ve heard have been incredible. Fun, laid back environment with friendly waitstaff.

Food was delicious, first time I had Barbacoa tacos, second time I had a barbacoa quesadilla. Had a fair amount of spice, a large helping of meat and cheese (for 12 bucks I had two meals!) The owner was polite and hard working. Well definitely eat here again.

She has AMAZING FOOD. Always something different on her menu. The drinks are awesome worth the money. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home Highly recommended

Amy Mays is awesome!!! Great food. Great clientele. Great service. Great music. Can't wait for the Tuesday open jam days where people can display their talents. Starting in January .

Great place to chill and meet ppl. And she sells tall boys but if you want a bottle its available. The food is off the wall. Street corn is the bomb
