What a wonderful hidden gem full of history in a great town full of history. The views are amazing the fishing is great and it is so peaceful. I see a lot of comments about the graffiti but I think it adds character to the cAve and a new sense of meaning to an old spot . I will continue to come visit once or twice a year when I am in town .

My girlfriend and I were out driving and we saw a sign indicating a nearby county park. As we drove down the road we heard the sound of the river and drove past what looked like a cave. After reaching the end of the road we saw a historical sign telling the story of this place. Who would have thought there being only 3 saloons in the entire region? After walking into the cave and being a person who appreciates history - this was something truly special. I'd highly recommend stopping by to see it if you happen to be in the area!

Its a really underrated place to visit in the Dells. If you ever want to stop and just relax, I highly recommend a visit.

No you don't have to trespass to get there, there's a gate that has the park hours on it to get down!
