This is a genuinely great place with great people. Had an issue with my car, called and described it. He suggested how to fix it and if I couldn’t to take it in. After I fixed that, I had another issue and just brought it there. They managed to find the issue while I was there, pointed it out and gave a rough estimate on time and cost. They got my car back and working before the end of the day and it was a good price. I definitely will keep going back!

I bought a used car and brought it in to have it checked out. Gave me a fair estimate for the work that needed done and refused to charge me for the inspection.

I first started going to Tom Fields Auto about 10 years ago when my car broke down right in front of his shop. He has always been professional, reliable, and honest. Tom might not be the cheapest mechanic around, but you know you are getting quality service from him each time.

Been going here for years. Great service at a fair price. One of only a few small auto repair businesses in Hancock County. I highly recommend them.

These guys were recommended to me by a family friend who described them as honest and fair. I totally agree. After having trouble with my alternator for awhile, he was able to replace it (which is a very difficult thing to do in my old cavalier). Basically had to take my car apart to get the new one in there, and the price was fair. My husband and I always call him as soon as we need work done. He's honest, and we even had one occasion that he checked out our brakes only to give us a call back with good news it was only moisture. Nothing to worry about AND didn't even charge us. Great business with the best customer service I've experienced in the auto repair industry.

I was so impressed with the service I experienced from this business. The owner (Tom) took the time to answer our automotive questions & steer us to the next auto business that we needed for tires. Justin did a great job on the oil change & checking the other fluids in my poor, neglected car & answered my silly questions with professionalism. Tom, give him a raise & keep him! Thank you both!

This is by far THE BEST place to take your vehicle. He's honest and does his very best to get you back on the road on your way. If there is a problem then he'll be honest and let you know. He's not out to "take you".
