The Candy Crate and Candy Mountain Fudge

Great little candy store. They have new and vintage candy reasonably priced. There are shirts and buttons. Also they make their own fudge best in the world. Salsas, toys and vintage root beers. Dan was so nice and friendly. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful as always! We left with our favorite candies, bon bons, fudge, and a new Horror Trivial Pursuit game. I sure do wish thet still carried my favorite Maple Fudge with NO nuts. 😋

Back again 10/9/22 - Fruit infused Balsamics are back in stocks, so I got the blueberry balsamic. I can't wait to try it.

This place was our favorite thing in Red River. It just feels good in that store, they have lots of awesome candy, but they also have lots of fun things. The store is a mixture of candy/nerd/60s70's rock band stuff. Needless to say, we spent some time in there. To top it all off, the girl behind the counter was literally dancing to the music playing! That kind of happy is in short supply these days and was a breath of fresh air! We may drive the four hours up from ABQ for our candy, nerd, rock band needs from now on.

It's FANTASTIC! We come here every summer and this place is a "must go" candy store. Always a ton of stock and plenty of hard to find and specialty candies. Tons of the old favorites as well. If you're going through Red River and are a fan of sugar, stop in there. You won't be disappointed.

Fun little candy and souvenir shop that is full of sweet choices for the entire family. Sweets include homemade fudge, New Mexico coffee, fancy chocolate, and candy not usually found in a convenient store.

We were in the mood for fudge, and ended up with some and a few truffles. After dinner these delicacies simply melt in your mouth! Their selection is excellent.

Super cute shop in Red River. Lots of touristy things to look at, both "vintage" and modern. Fudge is delicious.

Always have to get a bag of odds and ends for my son.

Worth a trip to Red River just for this small candy shop. Every kind of store-bought candy, including some I hadn't seen in decades. Many varieties of fudge, variety of sodas, plus a gift/game store too. Stands out among the many gift and souvenir tourist traps along the main drag.

My kids love visiting this amazing little candy store. It's become a traditional summer destination for us. This place has a ton of candy but perhaps my favorite part, are the candies from when I was a kid! They have candies from many generations past. The nostalgia is great. I love sharing these candies with my kids, to see how they rank them with today's favorites. I think the best find I've found here, are Astro Pop's. I was thrilled to get some of these! They also have a great variety of fudge to choose from. Besides sweets, they also have a lot of great unique gifts and souvenirs. This is a must stop for anyone visiting Red River!

Great fudge and candy apples. So with any place in a tourist area the prices are high but don't let that detour you away from the fudge. The Peanut Butter Supreme was awesome.

I've only been once and that's my regret. Would love to be able to go pick out a treat every day. They have everything you can imagine... including a special section of different candies dating back to the 40's. So if there's a childhood favorite you've been missing, you should definitely stop by! They also have some of the best fudge you'll ever eat...made in-house! When we went, it was buy a pound, get a quarter pound for free. Not sure if this is an every day deal but worth asking about. And the prices, in general, are pretty reasonable.

You can find yourself waiting in a line to enter due to the covid restrictions currently, but worth the short wait! The shop has several big rooms filled with old and new delicious treats. The fresh roasted nuts are amazing. Something for everyone guaranteed. The fudge, truffles, and peanut butter cup were delicious. A must stop!

Yum! Need I say more? Ok! The fudge is way beyond! Especially the green chili pistachio! Want to reminisce? They have a whole lot of candies we had when we were kids! (Ahem, 55+. ). It is always a pleasure to see the smiling faces behind the counters. Way to go!

Amazing service!! I love going there, they have tons of different candy to chose from. Some you can not find in other candy shops. There fudge is delicious and they also give samples if you are indecisive. Over all great place!
