I went to Lost Creek Reserve for a Kid themed fall festival thing. It was beautiful, large old trees, corn fields, hayride, animals, food, handicap parking. Great place.

My grandson's love to go here. They have a natural play area for children that is just the best. There are lots of hiking trails, you can even walk under the bridge across State Route 41. They also love watching the fish in the pond. Farm Fest in the fall is a wonderful event. Wouldn't miss it for anything!

We love Lost Creek for this particular visit we went for Fall Fest which was more then I was expecting. That had so much too do for kids for free. Demonstrations, cider samples, play areas, reenacting, and replication of rooms, toys, and activities. They did an educational puppet show for this kids. It was all very family friendly and a lot of fun. We spent longer there than we anticipated.
We love the Natural Park down their storybook path. The kids get a kick out of climbing the logs and rocks. They pretend each area is a different "kingdom". They also hold seasonal events here often.

The fall fest is great with so much to do for younger kids. The drive thru Christmas lights has become a family tradition. The park is also good during non events with some nice walking paths, a farmhouse and an old cemetery.

Took our three grandchildren to drive through the Christmas lights a few weeks ago. Great to see new additions to the show. Grandma rode in the back of our pickup with three little ones wrapped up in blankets. Grandchildren had a blast. Greatest Christmas gift for us as Grandparents to see the lights light up the eyes and smiles of our three amazing little men.

The fall festival is always fun! They have games, hayrides, a scarecrow contest, pony rides, cows to pet, corn maze, pumpkins, food vendors, straw maze for toddlers, horse shows, local honey and maple syrup and baked goods for sale, movie night, etc. There's lots of family fun!

Great center for Miami County Parks and a terrific farm setting. The fall farm festival has a lot of activities for kids and is just plain fun. There is a horse trail and a Christmas display as well.

Stunning farm land with barn swallows, butterflies and bull frogs calling. The Knoops were brilliant in building the first permanent two story log cabin home in 1800 near a fresh water spring and a nearby creek. The location of this cabin is marked with a stone in the yard of the still standing Victorian home. In 1883 the Knoop family built a Victorian home and included this fresh running spring water in their kitchen. The handsome historic barns are on the grounds. Nearby is Lost Creek, further on the recently planted Walnut Grove complete with many wild flowers, as well as, a many wood unique playground items. Although dogs may walk the trails, the wisdom of this is questionable with a shooting range adjacent to the reserve. The wetland loop has cattail and bull frogs calling. There is a large pink granite boulder and so much more. Enjoy!

Nice area with a mix of landscape, prairie, woods, farm and stream. A natural playground for children to explore past the cemetery. Small woods across the fields to bird watch.
