The Greenwood Inn

Travellers, this is a wonderful restaurant for a nice lunch. The menu is extensive for lunch as well as dinner. Our lunch was delicious. We had soups and sandwiches which were homemade and delicious. The Rueben was excellent. Very lean meat and a perfectly balanced sandwich served with fries. The fish sandwich was also very good and again came with fries. The club sandwiches are huge and we’ll done. The atmosphere is lovely. The decor is welcoming and service is with a smile. This is a great place for a lunch getaway. Check it out. We recommend.

The first time in over 29 years. Almost nothing has changed. Not crowded, great wait staff, fast turn around from the kitchen. My wife had the small portion open Turkey Sandwich, with mashed potatoes, dressing, and beats. I had the small portion Italian platter with spaghetti, Italian sausage, meatball, and peppers

Food and service were great. Good variety on menu. I had the turkey dinner. Turkey is cooked fresh everyday. Best I've had anywhere!

Never been let down! This spot has killer food! A little pricey but well worth it!! The prime rib was excellent and the stuffed veal parm was out of this world good and a huge portion !!

I have been going to the Greenwood Inn for decades and am never disappointed. They offer several affordable menu selections in a casual atmosphere, either in the dining room, bar, or outdoor seating area. Great value and the food is fantastic! Perfect for lunch or dinner, with friends, family and clients. Five Stars! Although I would give more if I could!

The food was very good. Got the stuffed quahog as an app. Was absolutely delicious with a dash of hot sauce*total personal preference* the lobster roll was good. Fries apparently a little over cooked but the fried fish and chips was delicious. I super recommend the lemon cake and if you get lucky you'll get Tom as your server. We can't wait to come back!!!

I always try a place a few times before posting a review, this place is amazing! The Shepherds pie special is my boyfriend's favorite so far, but tonight I had the turkey dinner and my boyfriend had a burger which he also loves. We also tried a meatball calzone knowing we would have leftovers and OMG! Everything was delicious. The turkey was not dry at all the gravy you could tell was homemade. The calzone was absolute perfection! Very well priced too. Next we will be trying the pizza and maybe a dessert!

This place has one of the best tasting and biggest prime rib meals I have tasted in New England. My wife had the lobster roll which came with a massive pile of meat on it also, making it well worth the price. Cozy atmosphere, and the service was also great. Little pricey (but look what I got lol). All in all loved this place and can't wait to go back

Had my nieces 18th birthday party here tonight. From the private room, to the service by Rob, to the food, everything was excellent. Thank you!

We went here for my grandpa's 90th birthday party and it was a fantastic experience, the service was fast friendly, and moderately priced as well, the food was delicious I had the baked stuffed scrod was light and buttery and my grandpa loved his hot turkey plate dinner I will definitely be coming back! 😋

First time there and I had relatives coming from NY so I was hoping it would be good and we weren't disappointed. Had nachos and mozzarella sticks for apps and they were very yummy 😋
All our plates came out hot. The place wasn't busy so it was nice and quiet for us.. would go again

Love the comfort food here and hamburgers 🍔 . Reminds me of home cooking.

My husband and I wanted a really good burger and man did we get two really good burgers! The juice from the burgers required three napkins for both of us. Cooked to perfection and my sweet potato fries were then and crispy!
