Food is always fresh and they give you great portions. My husband and I always love coming here. The staff is always so sweet and family-like. We live down the street and love coming here for some gyro lamb plates and beef fattayas!

Find this place and your be happy you did. A few times in your life you find a place so cool, you would move to be a little closer. I spent way too much of my time finding one of a kind restaurants. I visit a restaurant about 200 times a year. This is one of my favorites. If you have time to have one of those crazy amount of beer on tap. Beer goes so well with this incredible food.The food is in the top 2 in Ventura.

Best shaworma plate in ventura. Portions are so big and i love it. Just ask for extra garlic sauce, u wont regret it. Aaand I love their bar , they have cali creamin(my favorite) and like 19 other beers on tap. I also love their storefront. You can get a great variety of beer and liquor to take home as well as some great middle eastern treats you cant find anywhere else. And their staff is always so friendly just adds to the great atmosphere of this place.10/10

Fun sports bar & deli inside this Mediterranean market/liquor store make this one of Midtown Ventura's hidden treasures.

There's some amazing stuff that you can only get here. I get trays of baklava, and Turkish delight. They also have an amazing little deli that serves hot fresh kabobs.

Santa Cruz Market is classic! Small family owned and operated business by a really great, hard working family. The market had a beautiful middle eastern flair especially in their kitchen which had GREAT food. At first I thought the prices were a little high but the quality, flavor and portions made it clear they are very reasonable. I do wish they had a few more options for smaller portions and I'm sure if one would ask they would have suggestions.

Interesting and unusual foods and spices alongside standard stuff.

Great selection of middle eastern foods staff was very friendly and helpful. I've got a sweet tooth! And the staff explained taste texture sweetness of different candy cookies and other such deserts! When I come back to visit I'll be sure to stop in for treats. They also have a small deli, great grocery selection! Along with extra helpful staff💞💖💕😎

You gotta try Santa Cruz Market. I've been coming here for about three years now, mostly for sporting events like Dodgers and Raiders games. They have several nice TVs in the beer/wine area. It's a much better option than a sports bar because you can buy a case of beer with a nominal corkage fee and you don't have to wait for a bartender to serve you. They also have great food. I love the beef/lamb shawarma wrap.

One of the best butcher shops in town. We always order our turkey for Thanksgiving here. Some of the best cuts of beef anywhere. One hidden gem here is the selection of wine, beer and spirits. Best in town. The other hidden gem is the sports bar and restaurant in the back. Fantastic and constantly changing selection of draft beers.

I love Santa Cruz Market, they have great sandwiches. Their produce is always fresh and delicious. Probably one of the best beer selections in midtown Ventura. Staff is friendly and helpful and I always find great stuff there.

I've already posted on this. Awesome Persian food. It's a market and a restaurant and takeout and a bar. I prefer it over The Lebanese Oven, it's a better location with better prices. And you can shop for tomorrow's dinner after eating dinner.

Best service! Love the staff members! Super fast to shop! Have great produce, you can find lots of different types of vegetables and fruits. Love the mini snack bags: dried fruits, nuts candies, etc. Love the selection of item for different cuisines. Love the market! Shawarma wraps are to die for! Absolutely delicious! Recommend everything on the menu!

Great food! Also, a real find of a neighborhood sports bar - laid back, comfortable, very man cave-ish (in a good way). The grocery store part has an incredible beer selection as well. I'm also including a photo of a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream because the title made me laugh.

We love Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz is truly a neighborhood market but I understand why people travel to shop here. They have things no one else in Ventura has. They saved our lives during the stay at home in March. Not sure how they got it but they had toilet paper, rice, beans when no one else did.
All of the prepared meats are A++. Very tasty and visually high quality.

Great little market with an AMAZING beer selection. Everything from the deli is fantastic.

If you have an hour order a gyro and pic out a beer then enjoy everything in their little sore bar area. I really love this place!

Good prices and selection for wine and beer. Full meat market. The sports bar is nice too. Really good place to buy spices, and has a great selection of Mediterranean items that are a bit harder to find in more mainstream grocers
