Plunge Beach Resort

Location is perfect! Walk out of Plunge, and the beach is only a few steps away. They have 2 pool also. The first one is on your way to the beach. The other one is kind of hidden. I would never have guessed there was a pool there. I have no complaints about either pool. Beach area is clean. The beach bar is great. Good food and drinks. The only complaint about the bar is that they close early. The front desk staff is always so welcoming and kind. The rooms....ok so I've stayed there twice so far.
Heading back next week.(Can't wait!) The first time we stayed ,we loved the room. It was bright and decorated nicely. The second time I stayed, it was less than desirable. The carpet smelled, and the room was very dark and depressing. Was woken up every morning by a drill. They were doing some renovations. Hopefully, they updated some of the older rooms. Also,I would have liked to be made aware that renovations were going on. The drilling noise and one of the pools being closed were kinda a bummer. However, I still give the Plunge a 5 out of 5. The minor inconveniences I experienced the last time I was there won't stop me from going back. I am actually heading there next Thursday. I am so excited and can't wait.

One of the most accommodating hotels I’ve ever experienced. Nakkia was a lovely front desk representative, so understanding of our needs having brought an emotional support animal; She along with the other staff members genuinely care about your experience. The location was ideal for being close to Lauderdale-By-The-Sea center. The pool and beach accommodations were incredible, and our room was so clean! Definitely will be staying here again in the future!

I wanted to share our review of Plunge after reading some of the negative ones here. Plunge was wonderful. We booked it for a two-day, one-night stay after a cruise and couldn't be happier with our decision. Every staff member who helped us, from reception to both bar/restaurants, was so kind and professional. Our room was meticulously clean. The beach bar is so relaxing and the staff there and at the inside bar were lovely. Special shout-out to Gergo at the beach bar. So nice and amazing service! We will come back for a post-cruise refresh or a long weekend. Thanks Plunge!

First time at this wonderful location. Every single person at this facility was top notch. From our check in with Savannah, to Alfredo with the beach chairs and towels, to Cynthia at Octopus, to Abraham at the pool bar, and every single hospitality service member, you were all beyond friendly and made this stay amazing. I have never stayed at a hotel or anywhere for that matter with this unbelievable customer service. Everything was super clean and our beach front room was spectacular. We will most definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful visit everyone!

I had a lovely stay here. The staff was wonderful. I was able to check in early and I enjoyed the beach and pool facilities. My room was very clean, and I loved the beach bar. I would highly recommend staying at the bungalows. I had a beautiful view of the beach.

This is the coolest, friendliest, most accommodating hotel ever. The set up is perfect 2 pools( one adults only) beach chairs they set up for u. The breakfast is excellent, with a choice of wait service( Cynthia -thank you. Patrick at the front desk couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Joh at the beach , love him. We will be back as soon as we can.

We did a day cabana rental on the beach. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. It was great having the shade of the cabana for a hot sunny day.

We had one of the best stays here. The rooms were very modern and clean, and it was amazing being right on the beach where it was quiet. Pool was great and it was perfect for our little kids. Easy walk to popular restaurants.

This was our second year in a row staying at the Plunge over February school vacation and we had the best time once again! I have to make sure that I mention Suzette. She is the absolute sweetest and made our day when she greeted us with a huge smile and a “welcome back” upon our arrival…we couldn’t believe she remembered us from the year before and it made us feel so nice! The location is also amazing! We love the pool and beach area, as well as the convenience of the Backflip bar/restaurant. The Octopus restaurant was great for breakfast too, and our waitress was so nice! I also have to make sure that I mention the beach staff as well. They are super friendly and attentive. The hotel is also just a 1/2 mile walk to the cute little town center with awesome restaurants and candy & ice cream shops that our kids love! The plaza behind the hotel is also super convenient…grocery store, CVS, liquor store, etc. We will absolutely be back and can’t wait for our next trip!

Just spent 10 days at The Plunge and had an awesome experience. Special thank you to Suzette, what an amazing host. She went above and beyond for my wife and I during our stay. Highly recommend this property! If you’re looking for an amazing location, extremely clean room, and quiet neighbourhood this is the place for you. Walking distance to the Pier, and close to all of the neighbourhood amenities. We have already booked our next stay here for next you. Thank you again to The Plunge, and to Suzette, we had an amazing stay with you. Looking forward to seeing you again in December 2024!

Best word: unpretentious. Pet & family friendly yet quiet & comfortable. Much appreciated upgrade to beach view room. Would be perfect with in-room coffee service. Right on the beach with drinks and dinner.

Great little spot known for burgers and a low key charm. Fish frys, too. We enjoyed getting a quick drink after a quick walk along the beach and sidewalks to the bar. Pictured is one of their site made Pina coladas. Beach games and picnic tables with umbrellas available as well as the ocean view from the bar.

Staff is super nice, resort has everything you need, food/drinks were tasty, kids (6/8) loved it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay, already planning for next year. Friendly staff. Great service. Convenient location. We have recharged and are leaving with lovely memories.

I must say our trip didn't start as planned. We were supposed to go on Margaritaville by the sea, but due to a birth certificate it didn't happen. I looked for an alternative and I found Plunge. Such a nice quaint beach town hotel is perfect walking distance is less than 10 minutes. I told Jared at the front desk of my experience and he was so pleasant in wanting to make my experience here memorable. So he upgraded us to the bungalows, private area kitchenette as you see in the pictures, private pool for adults only. Also you get two beach chairs with an umbrella two towels. Absolutely amazing, thanks to Jared our stay will be memorable.

Beach staff are so awesome. So kind and accommodating. Special shout of to Justin, Alfredo, and Jah they are absolute best.

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and they were all so nice and accommodating! So much to offer and beach was great clean and chairs, towels & umbrellas provided! Great happy hour drinks and munchies! The room was amazing, great view, beds were very comfortable and clean! LOVE THE 2 BATHROOMS! They provided so much, ice hair dryers, shampoo conditioner lotion body wash all of good quality as well! I'm so pleased we found this Gem! Looking forward to next time! Also book through hotel they offer great deals!! You won't be disappointed I PROMISE!!!

Stunning place for a stay with see view. Comfortable and quiet. A beautiful lobby and an amazing service with pleasant people. Waiting for my next booking...
