The Cooper

I've enjoyed many visits to The Cooper. The food is always fantastic and the staff is friendly and helpful. The vibe here gives a Florida island feel, especially in the outdoor dining area and bar. There is often outdoor live music in the evening. A recent news article voted The Cooper as one of the best burgers in Palm Beach County, so I had to try it out. The burger had that backyard grill taste and was very juicy. I wouldn't vote it my favorite burger joint, but it was delicious.

Cheryl is back in the Commons!! I followed her to 3 restaurants now. I will happily go to any restaurant she manages.
My most recent trip to Bimini Twist gave me the best news, Cheryl is now managing the Cooper too. I've been to the Cooper for work related events in the past but that was really it. The same folks who own Bimini bought the Cooper late last year. What's better, for me at least, they have Sunday brunch. My husband took advantage of their obscene Bloody Mary bar. The options to include in and on your glass are insane to include a quarter of a grilled cheese sammy. They use havarti!! Who doesn't like grilled cheese and tomato soup. I'm a Mimosa girl. They didn't leave me disappointed. I had my own Mimosa bar with several unique choices of juice and fruit. It was suggested that I try the passionfruit and pomegranate juice. Instant favourite.

I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and my husband ordered the Cooper burger. The Salmon was perfectly smoked, with capers, avocado, and a poached egg that spilled its velvety goodness. My husband was very happy with his burger and side of Cole slaw that he remarked was the best he's had. I had to try it. Cole slaw is generally not a side that gets a lot of focus. I had to admit that it was "pretty damn good."

The wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. They communicated well, provided timely service and really enhanced our overall dining experience.

This is a new and improved Cooper. My husband and I will become a regular for Sunday brunch.

The Cooper Sunday Brunch....
I haven't seen a Bloody Mary Bar until yesterday but all I can say is I only want brunch if this is available 😋 There are 4 different kinds of Vodka to choose from, Regular, Sun Dried Tomato infused with Jalapeno, Bacon Vodka and GF.... the bacon vodka... just 🥓

We were seated promptly upon arrival and were given a quick tour of the BM bar prior to sitting. We shared the whipped ricotta toast, honey and sourdough toasted bread. I had shrimp and grits which had huge chunks of chorizo mixed in. Hubby had the avocado toast. We took a carrot cake to go...........The drink that got me, besides the bloody Mary's was the "Kind of a Big Dill" .. Titos Vodka, cucumber, simple syrup, lime and pickle juice. WHAAAT.

The Cooper is a definite addition to your Brunch plans!!!

Everything is always delicious. The cocktails and wine are fantastic! Great vegetarian options.

The Thai Green Curry is top drawer! Betcha can't eat all of it in combination with a glass of milk AND the chocolate chip cookie dessert shown below. Delicious!!!

Truly a great find! We were at another store in the area and we wanted a drink. Spotos was closed so we found this place.

Oh my goodness, this is our new to go place after work! The Tequila Margs are out of this world and the appetizers are fantastic.

We had wings and pork sliders for apps. Then a curry soup and an absolutely outstanding steak that was cooked to perfection.

Paul, our bartender was an integral part of our experience. He was so knowledgeable with his drinks, the food everything there. Paul was so accommodating and helpful. He definitely kept us entertained the entire time we were sitting at the bar!

Thank you for having such an amazing place to hang out after work, that is super clean, super organized and great drinks and food!

First visit and will be back! Little weird to have a brunch menu at 2:00 on a Sunday, but will get me to come back for dinner!

Stopped through while traveling. Our server, Chase, was friendly, attentive and sociable. I loved the booth/couch convo -- very homey and comfortable after a long car ride. Our kiddo loved the grilled cheese from the kids menu, and I enjoyed the spring salad with grilled tofu and broccoli.

Only con was the flies, which only showed up after the food came out.

We came in on a Sunday night at the end of April. We loved the musician. He played late 80s 90s soft rock. It was so atmospheric, enjoyable and peaceful. We had such a pleasant experience with him. Our bartenders outside, Kalie Sam and Chase, were unbelievable off the hook you better keep them forever. They’re worth a million dollars and then some. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re here from New York!!! Go Rangers!!!!!

The Cooper has never disappointed me. On this evening, I sat at the outside bar in view of the hockey playoff game. Ordered only the chop salad because I wasn’t that hungry and a glass of Pinot Grigio. Service was excellent atmosphere was lovely not too crazy busy and I enjoyed my nutritious dinner. At the end, I made a new friend and possibly some work. All in all it was a fantastic evening.

Went on an early Sunday evening. Our server Nicole was great. We were sharing our meal, and we had asked for extra plates to share, and she said “oh, I’ve already split the meal in the back”. Incredibly attentive and personable. Great service! Quiet and cozy atmosphere.

If Sam behind the outside bar makes a suggestion, do yourself a favor and TAKE IT! She knows the menu well and gives GREAT recommendations. The chopped salad is a winner and the salmon is the best around. We come back again and again and she never steers us wrong!

I love the food here, the pork chop is the best I’ve had and weekend breakfast/brunch is great. Service is great, reasonable prices and it’s super cute inside. Always easy to get a table.

What an amazing place... Food was excellent, service outstanding. My wife has a skirt stake and it was perfectly made. I had the chicken and it was amazing! Perfect taste! We do not live near but we will come back for sure! Thanks to David for making this such a wonderful experience. I wish all the best!

Last night we celebrated my birthday at The Cooper, and our server Faith and the manager David made sure to make it a special dinner for me. The food was delicious and the birthday Sunday was AMAZING!! the service was excellent. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back for their brunch soon!! ;)

This was our 2nd trip to the Cooper and it didn't disappoint. We had a great server, Kelsey. We had the lobster dumplings and the calamari to start. Both were delicious! We also had the scallops, grouper, Jerry's meatloaf and one of their specials with halibut and shrimp. The food is larger portions and delicious! The management also checks in and is very attentive. We would highly recommend the Cooper!

Shoutout to Trever for being a great waiter and accommodating for GF food. This place has a nice cute ambiance and good food. Great service as well. Can’t go wrong here!

Came down to the cooper with a few high status musicians while we were on tour, and we all loved it! Great atmosphere, great staff, and DELICIOUS food. Me and the boys will always make it a priority to come by any time we’re in town!

They have an awesome happy hours program from 3-6 every day. The mussels taste phenomenal. Korean bbq is out of this world. I like the veal meatballs but my husband doesn’t care about it very much. Flourless chocolate cake taste great. For regular menu, I also like the octopus dish, very blending. I like it a lot. Pasta taste great. Their signature drinks are delicious.

Check out the Cooper you won’t be disappointed. Plenty of outdoor seating, nice outdoor bar and cool decor inside. Great food, nice portions, and well plated. Fair prices and great service. We had the green curry with tofu and chicken salad on a pita with a side of shoestring fries.
