Robert M. Shalvoy, MD

My 91 year old mother has been going to his office for some years . Met him once, totally satisfied with knee issues and hip.
She fell during the fall and waited and finally had her elbow looked at by Dr Shalvoy. Fractured and she had weeks go by was going to have surgery then she decided not to have it. Elbow seemed ok and she was using it.
But the care, compassion, manner and professionalism of this Dr. Was noted as I watched him speak and explain to my mother all to expect etc. She totally liked him as myself. As I say “ This Dr. Is worth his weight in gold”.
Total faith in this man’s word, he chose the perfect profession for himself. Thank you Dr. Shalvoy for you. And his office runs proficient also which is important also.
We go to his Butler Hospital office.

Dr. Robert Shalvoy is an excellent doctor! He has done my two knee surgeries from from previous injuries and a shoulder surgery. I am awaiting another surgery from a different injury and would not trust anyone else, but Dr. Robert Shalvoy to do it! He is always professional and knows what he is doing. I trust him completely and definitely recommend him!

Dr. Shalvoy did both of my knees one in 2011 and the other one in 2012 and here we are in 2023 and both knees are excellent no problem they feel great best thing I ever did.

A brilliant man and what a wonderfully personable manner! Most importantly, he's also a brilliant surgeon with an ACE team! He did both of my hip replacement surgeries (genetic osteoarthritis in both hips!) and not only did both go off very successfully, but the level of aftercare is bar none! HIGHLY recommend both him and his office

Saw another doctor for my knee problems and was blown off and treated very rudly. Went to see Dr. Shalvoy and he was phenomenal. Had me get an MRI and learned my ACL was completely torn. He listens and takes care of his patients well.

One of the best docs I have ever been to. Very informative of my knee problem! Listens to what you have to say. My friend went to my appointment with me and she was impressed too!

The guy is a hack. He operated on my boyfriend's knee and my boyfriend's daughter's knee back in 2016. They are both having severe problems ever since. I would never recommend shalvoy to anyone!!!!!

Brought my wife in for a knee problem, had her go for an MRI on October 20th and the results were sent to him but have never heard anything. I have left voicemails to the woman in the office who says she forwarded them and he just blows you off. I would give 0 stars if possible.
