Never Summer Mountain Products

I've been to the big sporting good stores, never could find what I wanted or the staff didn't know anything about what I was looking at. The staff at Never Summer Mountain Products are knowledgeable and go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. Thank you guys for getting me outfitted with my new kayak. It's paddle time!

They've got everything you might need for camping, hiking, backpacking, maps, socks, shoes, boots, water filters, backpacks of all sizes, hats, bathing suits, and little buckles to fix your backpack or tent. The folks working here are knowledgeable and helpful.

Great shop that appears well stocked. We visited in winter, which appears to be slower than summer. We rented snowshoes and staff was great about guiding us to great hike location and instructions on the gear.

Great local shop with high quality rentals and gear. The staff were super helpful and informative. We rented xc skis and got an excellent recommendation on where to go with very clear details. Will absolutely go back to rent again.

This store sells high quality merchandise. We got some really nice souvenirs, trucker style caps that dont look too touristy, if you kwim. They sell maps, clothing & all kinds of gear from head to toe for hiking/skiing/fishing/camping & more.

What a gem in Grand Lake! I was having trouble getting my snowshoes attached to my backpack this past Sunday so I stopped in to see if they had some carabiners or what not to help attach them. Both the woman and gentleman working were AMAZING! They ended up creating a strap for me with buckles and all! On the spot! Attached it to my pack and charged me $2.50!! They must have spent 20 minutes or more with both myself and my friend trying to assist us knowing that it may not even make them a sale. I offered to buy them coffee... asked if I could leave a tip... They declined politely and said something to the effect of that is what they do! Clearly they are out to serve their community and I was fortunate to have stopped in!!! Will be back for sure:)

For a small store they are pleasantly comprehensive. Aiming toward the hiking and backpacking crowd, they also have good generalist backcountry and outdoor equipment. Friendly staff helps the process and decisions. Plus, no need to drive all the way to the madness of Fraser and Winter Park.

I spoke with the owner, Mary Lou, who was able to help me out with a situation I had with a hiking pack. She was able to guide me in the right direction on which pack to go with, and was able to help a novice hiker- like myself- leave the store feeling very satisfied with my purchase and knowledgeable about what to expect. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, and showed a true willingness to help. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place for any and all hiking and outdoor needs. Great staff and great product variety!!

One of the cutest and best stores in Grand Lake. Lots of cute trinkets and very mountain themed. They also have upscale clothing and great designed shirts! Also have camping gear and name brand water bottles too

They have an amazing staff. They are extremely knowledgeable about the gear needed for tour adventures in Grand Lake! We purchased winter boots and rented snowshoes and the customer service was outstanding. The prices are also in line to what you would pay anywhere! We are definitely going to be doing more business with them!

Cool store! A really nice lady helped my wife choose and get fitted for a new backpack, which performed perfectly on our week of hiking. We also got a few other needed items while we were there. Pleasant surprise that the prices here were on par with any other place (even Amazon) and they didn’t seem to have a “resort town” huge markup. Rare and appreciated!

This is our absolute favorite store in Grand Lake. They carry excellent quality clothing and their ski rentals are fantastic. They are best for their service. I recently needed to make some changes to my boots and poles and they replaced without charge. Outstanding service and we are customers for life!

Love this place - for years they've had consistently great staff, an excellent selection of top quality gear (from casual clothes to camping gear) and so much more.

Stopped by this store for my buddy to get a pair of decent sunglasses without breaking the bank. An associate helped pick out a pair that was around $50. Staff was very friendly and even recommended a few hikes nearby, which ended up being beautiful hikes.

The available selection and prices are amazing. They have a full line up of osprey products and even replaced a broken buckle I had for free. The people here are also very nice. I would definitely come here if you're looking for outdoor gear in the area.

Super helpful and friendly staff! Rented our bear canister here for our backpacking trip. Bought 2 pair of hiking boots and socks that felt great the whole trip. Definitely recommend this place!
