Kent County Memorial Hospital Pth

I appreciate the attentiveness and level of respect you’re met with at this hospital. I was taken seriously when expressing my symptoms at the emergency room and quickly put in the process to further evaluate the risk of my condition, and then swiftly began treatment when the severity was understood. The staff are all caring, knowledgeable and seem to be in this field for the right reasons. If they don’t have an answer for you right away, they'll find one, and aside from every other clear as day separation you won’t get lost here like at RI hospital.

Went 2 weeks ago on a Monday. I was seen immediately. Receptionist was training. Both receptionists were on point and empathetic.
There were a few patients sitting in the recliners. Very organized. NP was on point with the diagnosis. SI joint pain(brutal).
I was able to get a prescription for PT and a GP. Very grateful I went in. I have been in pain for a while and I was having a hard time finding a GP who took my insurance(medicaid).

I had surgery at Kent last November 2021 and cant Thank them Enough, everyone i dealt with was nice and respectful. i have been in the ER since then for a different reason and yes there was a wait but i didn't encounter any negative situation or anyone being rude. However that was my experience at Kent, not everyone has the same experience.

The doctor that I saw while in the ER for horrible stomach pains was so kind and very helpful. He was attentive and kept me updated on what was going on. I believe he is a resident doctor so I hope he decides to stay after that’s done. The x ray team and CT team were also helpful and everything was done in good time. My only suggestion to the place would be to either install call buttons in the rooms (I was in triage so maybe they just don’t have them in there?) or have a nurse check in every so often. Not one nurse checked on me while I was there for 8 hours so any questions or requests (like help getting up to go to the bathroom) I had to ask the doctor when he would come by with updates.

The local rescue brought me to Kent Hospital after I collapsed. For nearly five hours each staff member treated me with the utmost care. They ran several test to determine whether I had an infarction or other cardiac event; I did not. They were polite and and accommodating. And, they gave me a pair of cool hospital socks, the ones with pads on the bottom. THANK YOU!

I recently had a 3day stay at Kent. The staff was great they took good care of Me. I went back today for an Ecocardio and Craig was awesome too very nice hardworking people😇

I read the reviews. And I believe this is a 10 star ER Hospital. This is a small hospital you can tell that by looking at it. I choose Kent because it was close to me at the time. I had Dizziness. They went out of there way to figure it out. With all the test they did to me it would have taken months with a Reg Drs appointments. Kent Hospital ER did an EXCELLENT job trying to figure out what was wrong with me. In my opinion they rooted out the ones that concerned me the most. Now it’s up to me to find a doctor and look deeper. When I got there, there was 4 ppl in the lobby. When I looked out it was packed. Wow. I suggest if you are a walk in. Be prepared to be there for a few hours. There are others there ahead of you. Thank you to all at Kent Hospital ER. Of Rhode Island.

My boyfriend Myles’s was treated by the staff here today and they were nothing short of amazing thank you to the two nurses that were with him Tina and Stephaine! They are the kindest people and you will not find better care!

All staff were very pleasant and professional, from check in, to radiology, and the lab for bloodwork. An employee also escorted me towards the exit. Great job by all!

My daughter had her baby there and everyone there was great, very friendly, and helpful. It was very nice there. I like the safety precautions they have in place to keep the babies safe. I would highly recommend this hospital.

This place is way better care then a previous hospital and the nurses/staff are phenomenal. I wish I could give 10 stars.

I'm here often, with both of my parents, mother in law, and assorted family/friends. The care is top notch, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I rarely write reviews unless I encounter impressive professionalism. Or if I have an extremely negative experience. This one is my thank you for professionalism. I had my primary care doc order labs (blood work) from an outside doc. I am very difficult to draw blood from. I had attempted to have my blood drawn at 3 other locations I will not name with no luck. Finally today I went to kent county lab and had an excellent and friendly woman named Nicole get my blood painlessly and fast on her first try. It was in a sensitive area of the upper arm where I have a few remaining veins. She was very careful and gentle I just removed the bandage and no bruise whatsoever. Thank you Nicole and keep up the awesome work. 2/3/20

RNs at the front desk were terrible. Their judgment of the severity of the situation was terrible besides one Hispanic lady at the front desk. Went in with chest pains and a numb, purple arm. While one of the RNs felt bad they had to kick out the patient they were tending to that was being treated for a busted lip. Their energy and rolling eyes felt like I was around a bunch of high schoolers. I wish the one professional RN would teach the rest of them on professionalism. On the other hand once I got through the front desk the doctor and nurses were truly amazing. Very professional. It's a shame those few bad eggs in the front work in the same environment as employees that deserve their position.
