Rex, a private pupil of Enshin Karate has welcomed me even it was sudden visiting.
I really appreciate it.
It's been twenty five years since I met Enshin Karate. I was very happy to be able to visit here.

This is an incredible martial arts gym that you must try out if you are unsure of. This is unlike any other Karate dojo you've trained at.

1. You get to train at the headquarters directly under Karate Legend Joko Ninomiya. Just research him and see all he's accomplished to get an idea.

2. The benefit of learning a hard contact / bare knuckle karate style that also includes judo and jiu jitsu (grabbing/throwing/sweeping/ground fighting) techniques.

3. An incredibly friendly and supportive community, a hard and practical challenge for adults that will push your limits. As well as a nurturing and exciting skill development for the youth.

4. Practicality of self defense and fighting ability. This dojo includes boxing classes, fitness focused sessions, jiu jitsu classes, as well as a competitive fight team that will fight in any type of tournament/style.

5. Many people from all over the world come travel to this dojo for a visit for a reason, this is also one of the only dojos in America that has an Uchi-Deshi program.

Highly recommend you come in for a visit!

We're so lucky to have a world-class dojo right here in Denver. My kids are learning discipline, leadership, self-defense, and many more valuable attributes of a well-rounded person, all the while having fun doing it too. I highly recommend.

Absolutely the best school for kids, every one is extremely attentive and nice. The progress that we see with our oldest is truly amazing and our youngest will be joining him soon as well. Thursday 5pm class is great for the beginners. Trust me, you won’t regret it and your kids will love all the fun activities and games. Rex is the best!

Recently re-entered Karate and joined this dojo. This is the headquarters of Enshin Karate. The head instructor Kancho Joko Ninomiya is the real deal. He was an All Japan Karate champion and prior to karate did judo. He founded Enshin as an offshoot of Kyokushin based on his Sabaki footwork method and inclusion of throws. Kancho teaches himself MWF AM classes. The other instructors are also excellent. I studied Kyokushin in college and am pleased by the balanced approach of Enshin and it’s lack of some of the brutishness I have encountered in martial arts dojos in the past. A very classy traditional dojo and a privilege to train at. Denver is lucky to play host to the Enshin headquarters.

Great school and comfortable environment for children and adults. Darren is a terrific guy and a kind and knowledgeable master-level instructor in both karate and reiki. Highly recommended!

The Enshin dojo is without question a true and traditionally minded school for martial arts and good health. Denver is lucky to be home to Kancho, Grandmaster and creator of Enshin style. Born of the hard combat of Kyukoshin karate and the skill and fluidity of Judo, Enshin is an incredibly rich and well rounded martial art. Kancho and his three talented sons give the school a family atmosphere, teaching deep skills in a way that is approachable, down to earth and very effective.

I was there for a short stint just to feel out multiple martial arts and see which one fits for me best and I must say this has good attention to detail in their forms and a good blend of judo and kyokushin... Best believe I will be back shortly for a membership!

I stayed for one week as an Uchi Deshi and experienced the likes of all the different instructors.
There's no need to travel to Japan for a solid understanding of Japan's martial traditions where training is available in the heartland of America.

Great training for body and mind. Very authentic training. We are lucky to have this resource so close. The training has been great for my young child. We have seen a major improvement in his focus.

I've trained with this school for over fifteen years and continue to be amazed by the teaching and athletic talent of the instructors. This is a style in which everyone keeps learning and challenging themselves in whatever way fits their particular situation.

The real deal. Authentic karate, a supportive community, and something for everyone: competitive fighting, yoga, fitness, balance, and martial arts skill building.

My kids have been going here for years. The staff is great. I can't recommend enough.
