Love the place the whole team is awesome, so kind and friendly my dog loves to be seen by the girls !!!

Been taking my dogs here for two years. No complaints. Always great service and never trying to up charge me for things we don't need. Definitely recommend. It's also super helpful that they send emails of when my dogs are due for their shots or else I would struggle to keep track on my own.

Today was my first time visiting WestShore, I must say I am impressed!!! I have a very very timid anxious dog. They gave him time and space for him to come around. They gave him special treats and he actually ate them (he never does that!!!) sat on the floor and let him get comfortable. It meant so much to have your dog treated with such respect of their space. Also didn’t have to wait for my appointment like most places. Highly recommend this cute business.

I first met dr. Gelsimino during an emergency when I had to say goodbye to my cat of 19.5 years (chewy). Soon after we said our goodbyes I received a hand written blank card with both sides filled of condolences and support for our loss. Before we even received the card we had decided she would be our vet. We got a puppy (Rudy) in 2021 and I have communicated with her over the phone over the past few years… FINALLY rudy and I got to make an in person visit. Kaitlin is THE BEST! She got right onto the floor with my dog and hugged him while listening to his heart beat. It was a wonderful experience. She’s really one of the best. We are lucky we have her taking care of our animals. If you’re looking for a loving compassionate vet… she’s the one!

Friendly staff, very knowledgeable and caring vet (Dr. Young is ours). We've been going for about a year now and have only had positive experiences.

It was at a moment of grief that I have come to know and like this place.
First, my beagle and then my cat.
Dr. Proulx is such an empath--my husband and I really felt her genuine concern and I felt free to shed a ton of tears in front of her. Not my best day, obviously, but that is the point; she made these moments unembarrassing with her tone and demeanor.
I could see why this place is favored.

Quick visit. Was greeted by the office. Our dog was nervous but was quickly made to feel at home. He was vaccinated and sent on his way. In and out and despite the vaccination our dog left as if nothing happened. Great vet crew...

I've been taking both of my cats to see Dr. Young for several years now, this has been my first time owning pets and everyone at westshore animal clinic has been amazing. One of my cats has been dealing with asthmatic symptoms and upper respiratory infections, something that had led her previous owners to return her as it went undiagnosed. This was something that Dr. Young immediately caught onto and with her help I was able to begin taking precautions to help ease the issues my cat was having.

Dr. Young is always incredibly thorough in her examinations, she takes time to explain what is going on with my pets, lets me ask questions and is always available for email correspondence. Dr. Young always puts the health of my animals first and foremost, and is always willing to work with me in helping improve their quality of life. I cannot recommend these people enough, they have helped keep my cats happy and healthy and I cant ask for anything more than that.

Have taken my dogs to them for years and absolutely above and beyond service. They really care about their patients and do the best they can every step of the way. Really appreciative of this after experiencing other clinics which were okay, but not exceptional like West Shore Animal Clinic is.

I had my first visit to this Veterinary Practice with my cat Arlo yesterday. I was so happy to find that everyone from the receptionist to the Technician to the vet herself, made me feel welcome and comfortable. I could not have been more pleased with the care Arlo received, particularly from Dr. Young. Not only was she thorough and gentle with him, but reassured me about a kitten behavior that I want to alleviate. She took the time to give me lots of tips to deal with the behavior as well as showing me how to swaddle him so that I can trim his claws myself. I highly recommend this caring practice.

We have been taking our dogs here for about 7 years and have had nothing but the best experience, whether we are in for a sick/emergency visit, or a check up. You can feel how the entire staff loves animals and always makes us feel like they care about our pups like they are their own! Highly recommend!

This was really the best experience I’ve had with a vet, they were understanding and were able to get my cat(Jasper) in right away when I explained the symptoms he was experiencing. I was really nervous and they went above and beyond to help ease my stress and worry on all aspects of the visit, the vet called me and spoke to me in detail of what I needed to do to get Jasper healthy, answered all my questions and concerns throughly. I can’t say enough how happy I am with this place. And the prices are very fair and reasonable, you won’t go broke trying to take care of your babies. Highly recommend.

Best team around for my German Shepherd dog and three cats ♥ they treat them like family and help us try and keep our pets healthy especially through some difficult health scares.

I have been taking my (once very sick) cat to West Shore Animal Clinic for two years now. Their staff is so genuine, friendly, and always do whatever they can to help your pet (especially Alexis and Lisa!). They listen to your concerns and work with you to create a plan that meets the needs of both your pet and your budget! I have been more than pleased with their service and will continue going there for all of my vet needs. Highly recommend West Shore Animal Clinic!

My dog Louis had a horrible ear infection and my previous vet was horrific. They couldn’t fit him in for two weeks and they were so unorganized, they didn’t even have anyone on the premises for his appointment at the time they scheduled! Nevertheless I switched over to a better vet with better reviews and I found West Shore Animal Clinic! They fit him in so quickly and they were able to take care of him and in such a timely manner! They even sent the cutest little welcome card to my house welcoming us to their practice. 100% recommend.

We moved from Maine and needed a new Veterinary clinic. Both our dogs were new clients at this business. Highly recommend they were so thorough with previous records, and overall care. Very informative!!! Its great to have a new Vet.
