The best icecream this side of I95, hands down. Creamy, flavorful and always perfectly churned. I’ve switched to dairy free (life choice not allergy, horrible I know), while the options are limited it’s honestly the best dairy free ice cream without a chalky aftertaste and more options available here than anywhere else I’ve seen.
The crew is always eager to assist with smiles and professionalism. There might be a line at times, but it moves quickly and is always worth it.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Giant homemade waffle cones- a small is what is in the photo. Walk-up windows, plenty of picnic benches & many flavors to choose from! About $20 for 3 small waffle cones (large serving size)

They generally have about 5 to 6 different dairy-free choices which are always fresh and delicious! None of the cones are dairy free only some are gluten free. Service is quick and efficient even if there is a line. Great customer service. Only concern is parking and that Ten Rod Road people drive fast and crazy so it can be challenging

Amazing! Over 64 flavors of ice cream plus soft serve, sorbet, frozen yogurt, smoothies and sherbet so there's something for everyone! At first glance it seems pricey, but I ordered a kiddie scoop and it was ridiculously large-I ended up sharing since I couldn't finish it all. I went with a few friends and we all loved are orders-will visit again!

The vegan ice cream is very good. I enjoyed the vanilla chocolate chip and my husband enjoyed the black raspberry Oreo.
It’s cheaper than Brickley’s and we’ve received excellent customer service. The sizes are outrageous! For health’s sake, get a kid’s size.

So Friday was the opening day of the inside scoop. I love ice cream and I love coming here, they make their own ice cream with a awesome selection I always go to may favorite flavors which is chocolate peanut butter cup and salted caramel. Something new added this year was the nitro fountain, it looks like this is the new way for coffee. I don't drink it but it seems pretty cool. If you habe to choose an place for your ice cream needs come to north kingst own. You won't regret it.

Simply put this is the best ice cream in the state and it's not close.
The service is ALWAYS on point.
Coffee Oreo and Chocolate Walnut is phenomenal.
The cones are great and the best hot fudge!

Great texture and flavor. You can tell it's made with care and quality ingredients. I'd say it's a rich ice cream, not watery at all. The Blueberry Pie ice cream was amazing.

Really good and fresh tasting icecream. Huge portions too! The waffle cones could be a little fresher.

Unbelievable HOMEMADE ice cream! The cones are even homemade! I think I bought soooo much peanut butter cookie dough has made the jump from the special flavors menu the last couple years to the permanent menu.

The peach ice cream was amazing, and sets a new standard in my book! Creamy base, but the freshness and tartness of the peach really shine through.

I literally dream about the birthday cake ice cream from here... so good! Love that there are always multiple non-dairy options for my lactose free family members!

The Inside Scoop has been here for a long time. I believe it's always been under the same management but can't confirm for sure. However they are absolutely doing ice cream right! A small cute place with some outdoor seating. Parking is limited and half of the driveway is blocked right now. It makes getting in easy but out kind of difficult.

I'd like to believe all of their ice cream is made there as it is extremely good ice cream. Prices are fair for ice cream and they take cards. Which is always welcome because I feel like a lot of ice cream shops still are cash only.

I have limited experience with the staff. Besides taking your order and handing it off. You deal with them minimally. They're always friendly and happy to help. One of them was extremely accommodating with replacing my son's ice cream cone in a cup with a new one in just a cone because he hand a mini melt down (no pun intended) over it being in a cup.

Overall. I love this place. The ice cream is cute. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Definitely check them out if you're in the area and looking for good ice cream.

Don't let a long line deter you from going here. It's definitely worth the wait. They have a good variety of flavors, but the coffee oreo is my favorite.

Had the peppermint stick hot fudge sundae with Jimmies. One of the best I've ever had. Love this place!

Best dairy free ice cream I have ever had! Multiple flavors and they even have gluten free cones!

Incredible ice cream! I tried the vegan (coconut) ice cream in Blueberry and Black Raspberry and they were both delicious! Blueberry had more of a coconut flavor than the Black Raspberry but I personally don’t mind that. It was creamy and flavorful and tasted great with the waffle cone (not vegan, but still delish!). My husband had the cookies and creme and said it was as good as his favorite from his hometown, maybe better! The place was very cute and clean and had plenty of seating outside.

Good stuff. Lots of flavors and variety of options.... Yogurt, parfaits, non-dairy, shakes, etc. Very pleasant staff and quick service. Some seating options. A few weirdo customers who bring their dogs up to the window to give them ice cream 🤨, but despite them, a great experience. Will be back and highly recommend.

There's often a line here for good reason. They serve fantastic ice cream in a large variety of flavors. In addition to cones, you can get ice cream in a waffle bowl or a regular cup like I did. Cash or credit. There are tables with umbrellas next to the building.
