It’s my go to for gifts as well. I buy some elk and buffalo jerky for the boss. Some beef brisket jerky for my colleagues. Jerky for the gal watching our pets. Everyone loves this jerky!
They always have some selection of delicious nuts as well that are great gifts as well. Sometimes there are olives and other such yummies for charcuterie.

I'm a spareribs guy and the dry rubbed ribs were amazing. I actually was very pleasantly surprised that their ribs were so good. They definitely have a bit of spicy heat to them, so be prepared, but you can cool it down with a nice glass of beer. The ambiance was fine and it's in the heart of Stateline on the California side.

Best jerky ever! Try the chipotle bourbon and you won’t be disappointed. Went back and bought a pound of it to take back on my flight home.

Extremely delicious. Let's you try samples. Extremely respectful with great customer service. You can ask for as many ounces you like I got 4oz of 2 different types. For the quality I don't think 8oz for 20$ is bad with today's meat prices. Also has a selection of boar elk and etc beef jerky.

Bought the western beef jerky and the sweet and spicy brisket

I stopped by this premium beef jerky store in South Lake Tahoe a couple months ago and have been back a few times. My first visit, I was greeted by a young and beautiful woman whose conversation and appearance convinced me to purchase way more jerky than I had intended. My second and third visit, she wasn't there and I purchased far less. The jerky is incredible and I will come back every time I'm in the area.

Excellent customer service! They have the best Jerky I've ever had. Try the Sweet and Spicy Brisket, you won't be disappointed...and you can because they have fresh samples.

Store is right behind this sign and its a must stop when your in town. I recommend the ghost pepper and the habanero brisket

I love the habanero jerky. So spicy, addicting and good. My mouth is lit up once I stop eating it. Please update your hours. I almost didn't visit on a Wednesday until I decided to physically stop by. Great selection of beef jerky

Best beef jerky around! May look expensive, but worth every penny. The sweet and spicy brisket is my favorite. If you are looking for a little spice, go for the habanero brisket. Great staff too!

Amazing jerky and service! Definitely a must when you come to visit. I buy a few pounds for myself and some to bring back to family. They have exotic meats and flavors and be sure to try something new each time. Can't wait to go back soon.

We bought peppered elk and buffalo jerky. I never tried elk jerky before and it was a little gamey, but both were good. They had other exotic meats like wild boar too. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice too.

I'm not one to write a lot of reviews, but I have to write one for Mahogany Meats! I literally stopped being a vegetarian to get their jerky. I grew up getting their jerky every time we drove through Bishop down to the Palm Springs/San Diego from Reno. And then, as a twenty-something and six year vegetarian, we drove through Bishop and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity for their texture and taste. And now they are in several locations! Do yourself a favor and stop by and grab some of the peppered elk jerky in particular!

This is by far the best Jerky. Many different types of meats and flavors. Service is outstanding. I bought to mail back east to family as well.

Great variety of smoked meats from beef, turkey, boar, and brisket with interesting flavors from honey, sweet & spicy, teriyaki, western, pepper, habanero, among others. Always a must stop in South lake Tahoe.
