Bear Lake Hot Springs

This restaurant is a good way out when you're going to spend the day at the lake or the pools and come home unprepared without food for the whole gang.

Unfortunately, their stock and variety are small. However, the food and sandwiches typical of the Dominican Republic were delicious.

The filet with fries and the flambéed pineapple are champions. I also recommend the cheeseburger. Delicious.

I spent another fabulous weekend here. Myself and a group of family and friends have been coming here for years and I have to say NOT EVER have we been treated poorly. I know that food is more expensive when on vacation so I wasn't shocked at $6.00 for a cheeseburger. What I was shocked at is how BIG, juicy and delicious it was and there were more fries than 3 people could eat ..... The staff in all aspects from the store, camp patrol, beach patrol and the gals that were cooking were very out of the way friendly and kind.

I find it sad to read some of the bad reviews and can't help but think the people who wrote them did not follow the rules and got caught. Any ways, thank you once again, I love this place and hope you are are around for many, many more years, the thought of Condos or Hotels going in and ruining the place we love makes me sad!!

We have been coming here for the last 4 years and have always used the same open campground spot. The owners were great and very helpful, we had good neighbors, not to close and not too loud. Access to the beach is always easy and the bathrooms were remarkably well kept for as many people that use them.
We will definitely be back next year!

I have seen reviews of a mean lady, well I am here to tell you that Bear lake hot springs has new management now! Very friendly staff! I took my family to the hot pools and really enjoyed the mineral in the water! There were facilities there for changing into our swim wear, bathroom and a place to shower! So relaxing!

Im so sorry to read all the bad reviews people are posting! I give it a 5 star plus rating!!!! Last year was the first time my family has went up there camping as we got invited from friends that go every year. We had a blast and not once was any of the staff rude to any of us. Yes stuff in the store is more expencive than like a walmart. If people dont want to pay the prices than maybe they should come prepared. Its the convenience of having supplies within walking distance your going to pay a little more. There are rules in camp grounds. You cant run around lawless and act like aholes when you have other families camping next to you. Just follow the rules and nobody that works there will bother you. Its not a 5 star hotel with a mint on their pillow in the morning its camping!! Im the kind of person if i get great service i will post it and let you know its awesome. We are all going up this friday to sunday. I will do a post on my way home. Hopefully it will be as amazing as last year.

The Bear Lake Hot Springs is a fun place to visit. They have a campground right on the sandy beach. There's two natural hot springs pools to soak in, one a little hotter than the other. They have watercraft rentals right on the beach to go out and play on the beautiful lake. The on-site convenience store and fast-food restaurant top things off to have everything you need for a fun time.

This is an awesome place. The camping area is able to accommodate a large group with 3 campers, 2 tents and 6 vehicles. Beautiful views. The water warmed up nicely. Going to try the hot springs once it cools off.

My family goes up every year. I read some of the previous reviews and after lmao I decided to write one of my own. We have had a great time every year. Guess that is why we keep going back. Its camping people. There are showers and rest rooms with toilets in the hot springs area. Uhm did I mention its camping.

Huge lake, definitely worth camping at. Very friendly staff and home made donuts+cinnamon rolls!! There are also boat, sea doo, canoe, and float rentals by the hour.

Our summertimes are spent here,the staff is always friendly and helpful!!!
