Beachcomber Resort & Club

We had a lovely celebration in a Tiki Hut at this lovely quaint resort. Lynn did a great job making the event go off without a hitch. The rooms were great! Loved being on the beach during the day and the pool in the afternoon. We had several meals at Deep and everything was really good.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this resort. The first was approximately 10 years back, during that first trip I fell in love with this resort. This most recent trip did not disappoint. The atmosphere at this location is amazing, and the property leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel is older so you will notice some minor cosmetic imperfections, however, I have not notice any that detracted from my stay. The location!!! food, pool, room, and staff have all exceeded my expectations for the second time. I look forward to our next stay.

The hotel has been thoughtfully decorated and has a very high end feel. Our room has an ocean front balcony with zero gravity chairs and it is lovely in the mornings and evenings. The on site restaurant has a perfect happy hour area on the beach. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. No complaints.

I love this place! Easy valet and help getting stuff to my room. Very quiet room! Loved my beach view and balcony. Beach was an easy walk downstairs and out the door. The beach restaurant was delicious and fast. The downstairs Cafe was very accommodating, I loved the breakfast burrito and the coffee. Great location! Will definitely return!

This was the best place to stay in Pampano Beach! Quiet, friendly, all the amenities. The beachfront restaurant was the best we found between here and Miami. We had a side balcony with partial ocean view. I can only imagine the full ocean side being the only thing that would have made our stay better. I highly recommend a stay here!

Overall, the rooms are a little dated and very sparse though clean. The location and amenities are great though, with reasonable pricing. I would definitely stay here again.

The restaurant in back by the ocean is a hidden gem! We saw the beautiful structure from the beach and decided to explore to find out what it was. We were really excited to find a restaurant, open to the public, serving 3 meals a day. They have valet parking and is a beautiful walk through the lobby, beside the pool deck and out to the waterfront dining. The food is priced reasonably, the service very attentive, and the food excellent! On our last trip to a resort nearby we had breakfast here twice! The “build your own omelet” was as good as anywhere and my wife loved the eggs florentine! Dining on the beach by the water is priceless and just can’t be any better! It’s always a treat when in the area to go here for dining! Also a great place to bring visiting family and friends to show off Pompano.

Juan at the reception really went the extra mile to make sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible, leaving me extremely satisfied with his service. On multiple occasions he went above and beyond to look after me. This really meant a lot! Thanks for the great stay!

Beachcomber is an annual tradition for my family. We only eat there not stay because we vacation near by in a villa. We think the atomsphere is fabulous! Fire pits, hammocks, ocean view dining, live music and Thursday happy hours with oysters are my favorite part of my trip! Truly a hidden gem. Wherever you stay in Ft launderdale or pompano it is worth the visit. My salmon and veggies also A+!

Loved visiting the beach and restaurant for brunch today. Parking was free and breakfast was from 10am to 1pm if I'm not mistaken. We ordered the breakfast bowl and the Belgian waffle with eggs on the side. My friend and I ordered their pineapple mimosa and the popsicle mimosa also. The breakfast was hot and it was your basic breakfast. The views from the restaurant were very picturesque and made up for the food. The lobby was clean and well mannered. The access to the beach was easy also.

Wonderful location. Housekeeping needs to not enter rooms before the guests have checked out. Guests have until 11:00AM to check out. Otherwise, the stay was very enjoyable.

We went to have a brunch with my family in the dining area by the pool , was nice. Great service by the hostess Britney and all staff , meal was great. Dessert A1 as well of drinks , beautiful place to have a vacation , thank you

Hotel looks like it's been recently renovated, large rooms, nice views from balcony. Clean rooms, valet parking and conveniently located near Ft Lauderdale Airport.

Our time was amazing, everyone was courteous and welcoming! We were greeted by the Valet crew, they were friendly and helpful!. The room was fully staffed with towels and enough pillows! The view was priceless. The Restaurant was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. The staff was friendly, warm and very nice , also super helpful with the menu choices! The food was delicious, everything was made fresh. Overall our stay there was unbelievable and super fun with the satisfaction that we will be back soon. Beachcomber Resort is a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Resort! Ok so here is our experience. First the pros: The location is second to none. The place is built on the beach, on the actual sand. Can’t get any closer to the ocean, rooms are great, specially the ocean view rooms, partial view rooms are not worth it, completely different experience between the two rooms. Great set up with two pools, bar and restaurant are in great location on the beach and food and service are top notch, shout out to gabby, Louis and Ricky for their great attitude and going above and beyond to make us repeat guests.
Now to the cons:
As long as you stay in the resort you are good, or if you have a rental car or don’t mind Uber to go any where, nothing is close enough to walk comfortably. Although there is a convenience store and sports bar across the street but might as well enjoy the resort bar and restaurant on the ocean vs sports bar with no view at this point.
So far no big deals.
NOW TIME FOR THE REAL ISSUES:
last couple days of stay the resort had a beach wedding happening and that ended up having a real negative affect in the guests that were not in the wedding group, everything became about the wedding, and to accommodate the wedding party, we couldn’t go to certain areas since they blocked a good portion of the beach and restaurant and bar for the wedding set up for multiple days. It would have been nice if they had a better plan to accommodate non wedding party guests.

NOW THE WORST PART:
even if it’s understandable that it just happens that there was a wedding event during our stay and the accommodations could have been handled better. But there is no excuse that manager’s do not know how to handle customer requests or feed back or complaints and zero willingness to even consider a way to accommodate the situation, O’NEAL was the manager on duty and my feed back to O’NEAL’s boss is NO CUSTOMER FACING DUTIES FOR HIM GOING FORWARD IF YOU WANT REPEAT CUSTOMERS. There is a way to manage customer concerns but it does take intelligence and actually know how to have a conversation to be able to figure things out and O’NEAL had neither unfortunately. Typical situation of a title getting to someone’s head.

Stayed in 2021 and it was one of my wife's and my favorite Spring beach trips. Wonderful resort in a great area!

We spent a week here at the beachcomber on our honeymoon. This place is amazing!!! Located on the shoreline in Pompano Beach which is right where ya wanna be. The rooms are beautiful with balconies you can sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze, listen to the waves and just enjoy the beauty. The service is top notch friendly and accommodating. Rooms were cleaned daily, they had a gentleman serving beach goers with drinks and food. Service was amazing, great compliment to the beauty Florida has to offer. Highly recommend the Beachcomber to everyone not too expensive either, Get your toes in the sand ⛱
