I went here as a couples getaway in the third week of February in the middle of the week. I thought this place was great. The staff was very friendly. The room was very nice. There are lots of activities. Now, this is a water park resort so expect a lot of children running around. There is also some level of walking between areas. The prices for food and drinks are somewhat high but it's Wisconsin Dells so I expected it. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room if you wanted to try to save some money. I rented a cabana at two different water parks and really enjoyed them. The cabana hosts were amazing. My only issue is that it would be nice if there were safes in the cabanas. Overall a great experience.

I find it to be a very nice and fun place, especially if you're looking for a good place to stay for a vacation. There's also lots of space in the room I'm in and it's very relaxing and cozy. The TV also has good channels, and lots to choose from, depending on what you're into. The water parks are also a lot of fun, and there are great water slides, especially this fantastic and exciting water slide called "The Black Hole", that gives you quite a rush of an experience of being sucked into a black hole and being flushed down a toilet. There's also a really fun wave pool that has huge waves, and I really enjoyed myself there. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I've been in lots of good hotels and have been to great water parks.

We just got back from our 2 day stay at the wilderness my 3 kids had a blast definitely kept us busy! Food was great especially the pizza from the hotel. The only complaint I have is both me and my son are super itchy from the pools my eyes were watering from the chlorine other than that great place!

Loved our stay! Paid extra to have birthday decorations put on then door and balloons in the room and my girlfriend loved it! We had a woods view which was perfect and so peaceful at night. Drinks were expensive and so was food but that’s to be expected. Our room was super clean! Very spacious and nice. We were on the lower level so we heard herds of children running down the halls above us VERY frequently. I’d recommend getting a room higher up for that reason. We didn’t get to do everything we wanted to do but we will next time we come!! Love that we can keep the cool key wristbands as a souvenir!!! Beware of the Wyndham people who try to sell you a tour and a cheap future stay when you first check in 😂 Loved the swim up bar and hot indoor/outdoor spa! The Hurricane water slide was SO scary but glad I did it! Highly recommend the Take Flight experience! If you’re scared of heights though, expect to feel scared at first!!!

Was a lovely place. Me and my family hung out at the burger building the most as it was a nice huge table that could fit ~16 of us at it. The burgers weren’t the best we’ve ever had, but they were filling. The rooms were cleaned quite well, no complaints there. The smaller arcade is nice for little kids (I won a ball there). The larger arcade has cool Laser Tag, Mini Golf, and Rock Climbing. Definitely worth the costs.

Staff was very friendly! The food was surprisingly good, especially pizza at the Klondike Kavern. The kids loved the wave pool and the indoor play area. Fun for all ages! 10/10. Will come back again!!

we always book the cabins so we get away from the crowds. we needed extra pillows and blankets. they delivered them within a half hour. the bus is a really nice feature for getting around the resort as well.

Great family spot. 4 awesome indoor waterpark areas with activities for kids of all ages. Food on-site is pricy. We stay in Glacier canyon. Love the 2 and 3 bedroom suites. Space for our whole family or friends. Highly recommend. Not open for day passes, registered guests only

We LOVE The resort!! Today I wanted to write a review dedicated to the Cabana rental in the new Wild West area. We checked out on Sunday at 10am and wanted to extend our stay a bit so we check into the cabana at 10am and stayed until 3pm. It was so nice to have a place for us to hang out and chill with little ones since we didn't have a room to go back to!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our host! Onyx was AMAZING! he was attentive and thoughtful and even caught our daughter (16m) as she was trying to make and escape to the pool all by herself! Thank you again to Onyx for making our time at the cabana so enjoyable!

It was a great experience for us. The room was very spacious! We liked that we didn't need to go outside the building to do everything.

Great resort with plenty to do even in the winter season!

FYI - There is a small chance that room service will deliver a crib at midnight when you request a full size cot at 10:30.

The rooms were very clean. We had an awesome experience these last few days and the kids did not want to leave. One of the indoor waterparks was closed and evidently "maintenance" and "upkeep" is something that most reviewers seem to be upset about. (Idiots) we did manage to venture to all 3 of the other indoor water parks as well as the Timberland Play Place. This resort hires foreigners which is awesome but there is definitely a language barrier issue. There was a little boy that couldn't find his mother and when I addressed the staff at the arcade, they had no idea what I was trying to say, luckily we found the mother in a few short minutes. Overall there is lots of things to do that are included with your stay and we will definitely be returning.

Rooms are a bit dated, the sheets were not 100% clean. We had to remove the first layer because it was dirty. Amenities and services were good. Towel system is useful, but nothing preventing someone from just taking your stuff u less someone is watching it the whole time.
Be prepared to bring a wrap or something, going between pools can get a little cold. But it is a good thing, because having multiple pools keeps the crowd from being too crowded. The other resort that has one giant pool can get a but crowded.
We would like to be back, but will be looking for a better deal.

Early January our group of friends stayed at the Wilderness with two toddlers. The rooming situation was great - we felt like we had everything we needed and enough space. The kids enjoyed going to the duck race in the morning and really enjoyed the kid spots at the waterparks, us adults too! The reason I am writing this review is for their Lost and Found department going above and beyond. We left our daughters nighttime book there that was given to us by my husbands grandmother who recently passed away. We called the same day we left, left another voicemail and thought we were out of luck. Well they called us back two weeks later saying they have the book and shipped it to us! We are very thankful for their help and for finding the special keepsake book! I would recommend the Wilderness to anyone!

Great place to stay for a little vacation. We had an issue with the dishwasher in our condo and they sent someone right away and he replaced the main circuit board and got it going quickly. So many things to do and located close to many other attractions. Our 3 year old loved the Waterpark. He was even able to go on the big slides with an adult and had a blast. I'd definitely stay here again.

Huge! So much to do for kids. Loved the zip line ropes course, play area, amenities, coffee shops. Arcades were kinda a rip. Kinnnda grossed out by two band-aides I found in the wave pool and some kid puking and the jumping back in water. Hot tub was unmonitored and full of minors unsupervised despite the rules posted and had too much chlorine, made eyes burn and hard to breathe. Glacier Canyon Lodge Rooms with kitchenette were super awesome to have option to cook on stove and full-size fridge. Over all, fun experience!

We loved it. 3 out of the 4 parks were open. We had a great time.
The room at the hotel was fabulous and every detail about the kitchen is thoughtfully arranged so you have everything and can stay on a budget

Absolutely loved our stay here at the wilderness. Rooms were decent, but a tad on the spendy side.. only real complaint was trying to find your way around was a pain and nobody was really there to help you. The maid help slightly but better signage would help. I wasn't the only one lost. Several families were looking for things and all turned around. Really cool swim up bar and staff!

Loved our stay. We didn't stay more than a few days on off peak times but they had plenty of indoor activities and pool areas to stay relatively busy without waiting in a line. Approximately 5 min wait or less for all the slides that my daughter could feel the itch to go on. They also have enough pub and grubs scattered throughout for a full up on whatever you desire. We also didn't use the shuttle service but I did notice the virtual racetrack they seemed to be running, helping plenty of people.
