Lover's Lock Plaza

What great idea . Gets you off I-80 and in the little city . Fun thing to do with your partner .

I remember being on a trip from California and our car broke down, and this is where it broke down, and honestly it was very peaceful; but it’s located next to a school, and it’s quite the site when you see all the locks that couples and lovers alike have left, very unique! I defiantly recommend it as a location to take your significant other on a little picnic date, or just to enjoy the sights and reverence. Since this place is located like, in the middle of nowhere, it had a stillness that you can’t quite find at other more populated places. I’ll always be glad that my car broke down at this park, because we had a good time relaxing and making fun memories until we got our situation handled. Such a gem of a park to stumble upon, and I’m glad I was fortunate enough to have:)

It was beautiful and fresh. My boyfriend and I drove from Reno to put a love lock on the love chains. Went to the hardware store and bought a lock and the store lent us a little grinder to engrave our love lock. Such an awesome experience. We put our gray lock with the pink one that had the same names as us super special.

Such a neat and sweet place with all the locks and the chain. Very cute!

An extremely nice park also got to enjoy a very nice car show while visiting my daughter in Lovelock Nevada.

Fun little area to walk around. Super cute store down the street you can buy locks from. Really cool tradition they have with all the lovers locks. Nice little grocery store you can buy snackys at and eat at the park, it's nicely shaded and single stall bathroom isn't bad when ya gotta go

My man and I were headed through on the way to Tahoe for his grandma's funeral and just so happened upon this cute little park. We randomly had a lock in the truck so we 'Locked Our Love In Lovelock Nevada'! It was very awesome the amount of old locks and such.

Neat little town. Wife and I stopped and put a lock on as part of our honeymoon. You can buy locks at the Chevron near the interstate. We didnt have time but they also have the Lovelock Cave.

Probably the only memorable place in the town. You'll see thousands of locks of different shapes with different names. I hope those people are happy.

I knew this was along our vacation route so I planned ahead and got us a lock. It's a small Park with thousands of locks hanging about. Google maps will take you directly to it. It was a fun 10 minute stop.

My mother and I stopped by on a road trip to put our lock on the chain. Beautiful park. Nice Northern Nevada community.

A must stop for Lovers! Beautiful park and pet friendly. Easy access to the town from the interstate. Add your lock and enjoy a friendly all American town.

The city park plaza is particularly unique. The locks adorning the pathway are one of a kind.

Pretty cool place to go with family and friends we have always wanted to put our locks on here and we finally got the chance

The display is amazing. I wonder if there's 100 years of locks there. There have to be at least 50 years. The strings of locks look like they may have been somewhere else and they moved them into the Plaza. But they've done a very nice job in presenting them. They're very cool to look at.The plaza is nice and shady with pretty grounds with old, old trees and a gazebo. It's a relaxing walk from the truck stop to the plaza. Around 6 blocks each way. The old depot is on the way, and there's a shop where you can buy locks.

How many types of locks are there? Stop here and find out. Locks of every type and size in a nice area to let the kids run around in. Interesting to see the variety and to read the inscriptions. It doesn't take long. It is a great place to take a break from traveling. It is a great experience to share and discuss with children. We always have to take a photo or two even after visiting here a few times.
