Traveling through and need real food. Stopped here and was happy we did. Melanie was an amazing person/server. She took the time to explain the menu and did it with a smile. All food was made fresh including the delicious BBQ sauce. We had the smoked brisket & pastami sandwiches. Almost gave texas a run for their money. Worth stopping in.

Best breakfast ever!!! All food is obviously locally sourced, wait staff are amazing and the wood stove is a homey touch! A definite must stop

Such a great spot to stop for dinner on our drive across Nevada. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. They even asked my daughter's halfway through dinner if she wanted her hot chocolate reheated (yes!) because "no one wants cold hot chocolate!"

Really friendly and helpful staff! They had cute Christmas decorations inside and the fireplace that made it very homey. Delicious hot food. I would definitely stop here again for a quick bite!

Must stop! We enjoyed some nice breakfast before starting our trip again. Total came out to about 18 bucks. I also had some coffee. The environment and atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. The amount of flavor was so evident. The best breakfast I could’ve asked for this morning. So much flavor in everything. Highly recommend

Sit by the pellet stove on a cold day. Chat with friendly customers and staff. Enjoy aterrific homemade meal.

The Jackalope EXISTS here and you can eat at this fine establishment. The BBQ is incredibly good with just the right amount of heat and sweet. Cozy, warm place where the food is god darn good.

Awesome experience.. We had our hood up at a gas station near by, and a man stopped and asked if we needed any help.. anyways we ended up at this cafe and it’s owned by him!

Most likely the friendliest place in town. Excellent food. Burgers are so big I have yet to finish one. They make great leftovers 🤤 broke down & had a slice of pie. OMGosh! Quiet, calm atmosphere. Loads of country & western knickknacks giving a charming appeal. Limited seating, but would be worth the wait for a table. It's been crowded, I've not had to wait. But I would. YUM

Cute small little town. If you're staying there or passing through and need some food this is the place! The food was delicious. The curly fries were quite tasty as was my burger!

I had the brisket sandwich. Even the bun was fresh and so good. My husband had a double cheeseburger. Patties were 8oz each. Fresh cut fries worth the price. Will definitely return!

I just ate the best tasting burger I’ve ever had. It’s called the Ranch hand burger...
2 half pound patties with cheese and bacon 🥓 on both! It was so good I’m ordering another one but this time with jalapeños and pepper jack cheese 😆. No bun for me cuz it’s carnivore month🥓🥩

Super friendly people here, the food was very good! We got the chef salad and French dip, it was great. Darling decor in the place, we would definitely come back.

Pretty sure this was the place... but i passed through lovelock to go to reno.... this place has the best chicken fried steak on hwy 80.. cute little place..
