Kalahari Indoor Water Park

We came with our entire family to celebrate a family Christmas. The entire Kalahari Resort was incredible. The Christmas Decorations through out the facility were incredibly beautiful! The food at the restaurants was very good. Our grandkids loved Tom Foolery Adventure park. But their favorite was the water park. The suites were comfortable and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. We even booked a cabana for a day. It was really handy and convenient.

We love every opportunity we get to visit the Kalahari! The water park offers endless entertainment for all ages, and we enjoy it as parents as much as our kids do. The outdoor hot tubs are especially appreciated, and the warmer water in the back kiddie area makes hanging with the littlest much more pleasant. We try to go only on weekdays/nights, so occasionally some slides or activities aren't available, but there's still plenty of opportunities to find fun. We like that it's not crowded at those times, and it's easier to keep track of our children. We've visited multiple parks/resorts in the Dells, and this one continues to stay our favorite.

Amazing. Place has ton of activities for kids and is really great. Lines are long for every ride but it’s totally worth it!

We have to the water park two times now during sub zero winter temps. Six years ago and recently in 2022 a week before Christmas. Our now adult children enjoyed the indoor water park. We stayed for three nights which seems about the perfect stay during the winter. It’s so warm inside and the staff does a great job at maintaining and keeping the entire resort and rooms clean. Our adult children enjoyed all of the extreme water slides and we all enjoyed the Master Blaster (water roller coaster) Our all time favorite is the lazy rivers and the outdoor hot tubs. Something for all ages and interests. Great family fun!!

Min height on bigger slides is 48” due to landings being a 4ft depth.

Water park is really nice. There are a large range of activities for all ages which is really nice. They have stuffed as much as you possibly can into one area.

We are here near the end of April and the crowds are not too bad. So if you are getting here on the day of checkin don’t feel the need to pay for early check in, you should be able to find a table without issue.

Our kids are between 5 and 10 and the kids areas are perfect for them and they have some bigger slides that are perfect for them and a few that are too intense. Our family had a great time. Minimum height on many slides is 48”.

Comparing it to great wilderness and treasure island I would say it’s not as big and you are stretching it if you just want to stay in resort, I can see the kids getting board by day 3 and wanting to go out. Great wilderness gave us scenery changes with different rooms so they never really got old which is important for winter months. April isn’t too bad to venture out.

Bunch of amazing amotions. Prices are fairly good, there has an option price for group of people( up to 10-20). Inside clean and warm in winter time.
Huge thanks and respect to surfing instructors who trained me how to surf. It was great experience ever.

Kalahari has been our go to December destination for the last 6 years. Always clean with friendly service. We get the 2 room suite with a fireplace and it works well. Had issues this time with a malfunctioning fireplace but everything else was fine including the Waterpark. A lot of renovation is going on throughout 2024 so we are excited to see what the resort looks like next Christmas!

We did not stay overnight at the hotel we wanted to but the prices were just so high but instead we decided to buy a day pass to the waterpark and Tom Fullys we haven’t went to tomfooleries yet but the waterpark was a lot of fun so far everything went great I just don’t recommending the slide where you shoot down into the water and it’s like 9 feet deep my daughter almost drowned besides that that’s not the parks fault don’t go on that one. Other than that all the waterslides are a lot of fun ! The wave pool is super fun too we had a great time so far

Seriously the best experience. Got a two bedroom suite, and worth every penny. Huge waterpark, fun slides and so much to do! Excellent service and kind staff. Best time ever!

The Kalahari is one of our family favorite water parks to visit. There are activities for all ages. Activities indoors include water slides, lazy river, 2 kids areas, hot tubs, water basketball, and surfing. There are chairs to lounge in as long as you get there early enough. Next time we will most likely rent out a Cabana, it looks a lot more convenient for the family. The drinks are what you would expect for price in a tourist area, and there is also a restaurant in the water park area. Thanks for the wonderful time!

We are having a great time in Kalahari Resort and Indoor Water Park, we are so glad to be here celebrating my Daughter’s birthday. Everybody in here is very friendly. There are many things that I can write of this beautiful place but I need to go to the pool...

Kudos to the very attentive lifeguards!! There is no hesitation in them jumping in and doing what needs to be done when there's even a sliver of danger!

Amazing experience! A lot of rides to try! The wait for rides was reasonable. Great for all ages! Highly recommend for a family vacation. They give a voucher to the zoo and Tommy Bartlet exhibit. Breakfast Buffet was pretty good! Kind and helpful staff! A little expensive though.

Love this place. Had a great time with my family. They have a cool bar for the adults and the surfing simulation was the best. Just loved it!

This indoor waterpark has the most amazing waterslides. Try the baboon slide and the one next to it, I forgot the name. It takes on a surprising plunge and it’s really fun.

Very packed over spring break. But it's an amazing place, perfect for families with kids. Has plenty of locations for adults to just chill as well.
Masks are being worn almost everywhere, kind of hard to wear on slides or in water.

It was a fantastic experience. I did not have a chance with my family on the first Kalahari visit, but this definitely lived up to expectations.

The entire family loves Kalahari waterpark and resort. We booked premium indoor seating, and our server Genna was awesome! There was still plenty of seating. Our room was spacious, and it had a nice patio. We ate at Double Cut and had really great steak that was cooked perfectly and we tried out Ivory Coast for breakfast, also perfect. The entire team here is awesome. It was a really fun time for everyone.

The body slides where you go inside the capsules were pretty fun other than water up your nose. Had a blast on everything else!

my family stayed for 2 days and we never ran out of things to do. we had a great time. only thing i would say is i think they should have conveyers for tubes outside as well. carrying the huge tubes for the anaconda and the smoke that thunders left us in pain 🥲 definitely NEED more tubes for smoke that thunders, people were lined up to get a tube. other than that it was great 👌
