Sidney Paul Gordon Shooting Range

Been going here for years now, by far my favorite public range I've been to, to date. Membership rates are extremely reasonable, staff is friendly, and the ranges themselves have several nice features that many pricier public ranges lack. Steel at berms at end distance per range, a few general purpose ranges that allow for practicing more dynamic drills at your own pace, etc. And it appears they're expanding their 360 yard range to some longer distance. Great place!

Had a great time with the son in law and my daughter at the range. Very safe, organized, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

This is, by far, the finest shooting range complex I've visited. I shoot here often and I always bring out of town guests here to show off the facility. Recently, i had a friend visit from Texas. You know how Texans are about shooting. She was so impressed by your facility that she insisted I bring her back for a second visit while she was here. She commented that there was nothing in her part of Texas to match yours . The current construction will only add the the excellence of the complex. Keep up the good work

I will visit again with pleasure. Many locations, everyone will be able to find what you need. Friendly staff, the territory is clean. If necessary, protective glasses and earprotection, gun stands are provided(sandbags). But you must have your own firearm.

Great place to go for all activities firearms related! They have archery as well! They are currently undergoing some construction/remodeling, which means that the range is only going to get better! But it’s the good, responsible people that are going to ensure it stays that way.

Absolutely wonderful staff!!! They give amazing safety instructions to all their newcomers. They also have classes that you can sign up for that give you highly educational information on fire arms Also, with hands on training. I’m already signing up for two classes. They are definitely 10 out 10 I highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn how to handle firearms. I really enjoyed the safety education they give for not just you, but those around you when comes to firearms.

I’ve been to a lot of outdoor ranges throughout TX and NM and after going to SPG for the first time today, I have to say that the bar has been set. Being mostly veteran run, the range is the perfect mix of procedural safety and freedom to shoot how you want. The RSOs are all super professional and are willing to take the time to make sure you get a great experience while understanding how the range operates. This place was also super affordable and, with their annual pass options, is a great option for anyone who shoots multiple times a year. Highly recommended. Awesome experience. And shoutout to Gary for the great introduction!

Took my family of 5 there today (kids: 17,15,12)! Everyone on staff there was very respectful and accommodating. We got right on their 200 yd rifle lane and then moved to the 50 yd pistol lane NO WAIT! They were suffering an internet outage so had to pay cash, but wasn’t an issue. Military and vet friendly 😁.

Great facilities and well managed. The prices are very reasonable; just $5 per person or $68 for an annual pass for the whole family. We opted for the annual pass. The restrooms are clean. Target stands are provided and targets are for sale (we brought our own targets and stapled them to the stands that are provided). All in all, an excellent gun range. We will be back often.

I really enjoyed this range. The staff is AMAZING!! Easy to navigate, no time limit, able to shoot multiple caliber weapons. Just an overall great experience!!I would definitely recommend!

Best range I have used. Friendly staff always ready to assist in any way needed. About to renew annual membership for 3rd year. Highly recommend!

Excelent range. Four of us came to have a nice day firing rifles, shotguns, and handguns. Clean, organized, great range safety.

Gary was phenomenal and gave us a very thorough introduction to the range. We will definitely be going back and buy a year membership!

One of the best ranges I have been to. Multiple ranges keep the crowds evenly spread so it's not difficult to go hot/cold quickly and safely.
Very nice target setup that allows targets to stay up even with a decent bit of wind. Every range has steel targets at the back which is a plus.

We've been going to this range since we got our first pistols, and not once have we had a bad experience. The staff there are amazing; Super helpful, easy to talk to, and BIG on gun safety. Huge shoutout to Chuck and Gary. All the advice and pointers they've given, has helped me make a drastic improvement in shooting.

We just went through their Night Shooting course, and I highly recommend it for all skill levels. It was both informative and really fun.

1st time, Great Place. Gary and the Owner both great men. Chuck is awesome. They are very help and informing for firearm and gun range info and safety. The ranges are great. I was on GP1 with my Friend yesterday we had a blast of Fun! Service is Excellent! Awesome Patches, Stickers, and Pens they sell.. they let you rent out a spotting scope or eye or ear protection if you need to. Awesome place Gentlemen and Ladies, I will come back down from Albuquerque, NM again to have a range day. 100%.

This is a great range. Friendly, informative staff. Not crowded. Great facilities. I bought an annual membership.

Great range. Me and my dad used one of the general purpose range areas. Shot some paper and steel plates that we brought.

This shooting range is great. I’ve been a handful of times to this range now and the “general purpose” areas are a great idea! I love being able to switch from my handgun to my rifle to my shotgun without having to switch between different dedicated areas. I wish the shootings range back in my state had one.
