This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back! We had the best time. This resort is set up so you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to, but it’s close to everything if you want to venture out. We loved it so much that we came home and recommended it to friends who went the following weekend and also loved it!

The rooms were bigger than expected and extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that there were lockers to put everything at the water park and the bracelet for money so we didn’t have to carry much. Our kids liked the water park and Tom Foolery’s.

Easy to get to with a quick and easy check in process. We stayed in a large villa with family. Grandparents, 2 children and spouses and 5 grandchildren. Perfect space for our family. Villa's have 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The park itself was well kept and clean. Beverages and food were good. Prices as expected for a place such as this. Great family getaway!

Waterpark is awesome…well maintained and the giant waves that kick up help keep it exciting.

The rooms we stayed in are dated and the bathroom was super small although it was clean and the beds were descent. No issues at all as the idea of going to a place like this is you don’t spend a lot of time in your room except for sleeping.

We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants that were onsite and ended up going to other restaurants that surround the property (there’s some good choices out there).

Here for dance competition. The new area is great. Clean, fresh, handy areas for snacks and food. Even had a full bar for the parents and grandparents.

My family and I had a great time! Just a warning- there is an extra $200 security deposit fee that needs to be paid when you check in, in order to get your wristbands. I may have missed this detail when booking my reservations. Otherwise, the room was clean and the waterpark was a blast.

One of the ladies at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and so so kind. She alone made us wanna come back. Everything else was pretty darn great as well. The games were fun, the ride lines were fairly short, The laser tag was awesome. The pool was very fun, tons to do. You almost get lost when you first get there, because you wanna try everything all at the same time.

Second time going and still loved it. This time the room was very small didn't really fit my family of 5 and the bath water didn't have hot water. You also can't use gift cards on any of the shops, that sucked because my daughter had gift card for build a bear that we couldn't use. Probably won't go back since the price I paid wasn't worth the trip.

Our first time at Kalahari Resort. We went for my daughters birthday (4 years old) and she LOVED IT. I was very happy to see how happy she was. The indoor water park had so many places to sit and many pools to choose from (we had a stroller for our 8 month old) Our room was nice, I slept well, my boyfriend stated he did not lol. A couple of things, when you check in you are required to put a down payment of $200 which will be reimbursed if no damage to room. We ordered room service for a 20 in pizza and a small mountain dew which was $64.04, it wasn't good. (we should've just gone out to eat) We paid $58.38 for two medium drinks at the indoor waterpark, but we got to keep the cups. We LOVED the placed they advertised called Wisconsin Brew Pub which is right next to Tom Foolery's. We went for their delicious milkshakes and had burgers and chips.

So much fun, great for all ages. Our 3, 5 and 9 year olds all had a great time. Clean, friendly staff, good food and fun!! We brought our wagon as there is a lot of walking and the littles can't keep up.

I come here every year for an annual convention to obtain continuing education credits. Rooms are average, service is good, and the location is right off the highway. It's a very clean place and easy to get around the facility.

I stay here every year in November for the Colossal Convention. The service was excellent. I specifically want to recognize the customer service rep, Gabi, as she went above and beyond to help us with checking in to our room reservation. She was very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable.

Our stay was great. The rooms were cleanly. Ample parking spaces. The indoor restaurants and water park are very nice too.

My only concerns are the walls are somewhat thin so noise travels easily. But that’s to be expected with the convention crowd. Also, it’s also easy to get lost because the resort is so large but I still enjoyed my stay overall

I went there for a friends birthday and it was great!!!! My favorite part was when we went to the pool and it was closing, but the manager on staff Chad took his time to show me and my friends around the whole water park and gave us information about the history of the park. Chad definitely made the whole group feel welcome and special! Definitely worth a revisit when on holiday!

We stayed in the Sands building and the rooms were very large and extremely gorgeous. I love the African theme of the Kalahari, everything is very culturally themed. The Waterpark itself is amazing! The wave pool and the hot tub were some of my places in the indoor Waterpark. I also love the Tom Foolery's connected to the resort. It is a great place to chill when swimming isn't an option. The Kalahari is my families favorite vacation spot and we have so many great memories there.

This place is in the top two for places to go at the dells, off season. Plenty to do, water park is fun as hiznell wave pool is huge and indoor which is awesome. Nice game room, fast go carts with a good track for all ages. Lazer tag, it's all around fun, but.....
You knew it was coming, expensive as duck. Holly cow, I had to sell one of my kids just to take the other twenty. Hehe. Seriously kinda pricey.

I never had any issues with this resort. Service was great. Sometimes if it’s really dead, they’ll upgrade you. The upgrade was nice. There were two separate areas for showering in the room. There is an indoor theme park that is perfect for those cold winters when you just don’t want to go anywhere. They have one indoor waterpark and one outdoor waterpark. I personally like the thrill of going on the screaming hyena. You get that adrenaline of hearing the countdown before the door underneath you opens. Plenty of rides for everyone or if you just want to chill in the lazy river or the indoor whirlpool spas. I found this one less crowded than the Wilderness. Food is pretty decent. Housekeepers were great.

This was our first trip to the Kalahari. It was absolutely wonderful! I loved how easy check in and check out was, no waiting in line! The easy pay with the bracelet was also great! No need to carry a wallet ever! Made me feel very safe and secure on our trip! My daughter had a ton of fun! The Waterpark was great! We will definitely be back! My only regret is not staying longer. 😁

We love this hotel! It is massive, so be ready to get your steps in. Tons to do even in winter. Kids love the waterpark. Lots of maintenance going on, but that just shows they care about cleanliness and appearance. It's expensive as far as restaurants and arcade, but not surprising given all the amenities. Will be back

Within an hour of Madison, this is our go-to place for the kids to blow off steam. But truth be told, we as parents find a ton of things to do. Top shelf experience. Amazing food.

I was so pleasantly surprised at all the gluten-free options & how versed they were in preparing the food.
Also had good tequila that helped make my stay more enjoyable.

Hi I’m Jennie! I love the Kalahari, but it’s a little too expensive. Especially for an over night. I was there for a conference recently. Love the rooms too, but they fill up pretty fast. So me & mom had to walk up to the fourth floor and it was quite far from the convention center. We were both confused and we had to walk to almost every building inside the resort. It was quite a walk, gotta admit that. Other than that, I love this place. Love the fancy restaurants, the water park, the arcade, the activities and food of course. Last but not least, the front desk lady was helpful. She was so kind to me. Thanks for this experience. Thanks for staying opened. Bye Kalahari!😀👋🏼🐘
