I've been wanting to try this cute little spot for some time now, and I just regret that I didn't do it sooner. It took a wonderful Yelp Elite event to get me to come in, and it will keep me coming back for more. It's located in the North Beach area, a perfect spot to grab a bite before a beach day. Plenty of metered street parking to be had outside. The shop itself is cute and minimalistic with decor but done perfectly.

I walked in, expected a case of pastries, and a few entree options but was pleasantly surprised with the amount of options they had to offer. I started with the recommended lemon loaf, fresh, tasty, and a good amount of lemon. I just had to try the eggs Benedict with pork belly. The pork belly elevated this Benedict to another level of delicious. I kept my coffee order simple and got an iced latte with lavender syrup. I wanted to be able to get a taste for the coffee and housemate syrup. It was delicious.

I can't wait to go back and try more delicious food and one of their fancier coffee drinks.

Really enjoyed this cafe! Exceptional coffee and nice, unique breakfast bites. They also have a good variety of baked goods. Plenty of indoor seating and a few high chairs are available. Paid parking lot up front, there are two small steps to enter the restaurant.

The coffee here is delish. I loved it. They have many variety of coffees from different countries. They all have a date under the bag. You know you are getting fresh coffee here. I had a cappuccino and was very happy with it.
The restaurant is a good size inside. The decorations looked nice. It has an area with books and plenty of sitting options. The place is comfortable. The kitchen is kinda open. The counter has a nice pastry display. I tried the cinnamon roll. It was good. I liked the texture and glaze. I would order it again.
The way the restaurant works is that you place your order and pay at the counter. They then give you a sign to put on your table. You find a table and wait. The Hash Skillet was good. It is a must-try. They make the brisket in-house. Those potatoes taste so good. I did good in picking the dish. I enjoyed my meal and time here

My recent visit to this charming establishment left me utterly enchanted by its cute and cozy vibe. Tucked away discreetly off the street, it truly is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. What sets this place apart is the dedication to crafting everything in-house, ensuring a fresh and unique culinary experience for each patron.

Upon entering, my friend and I were warmly greeted and we chose our seats. Sol, our delightful waitress, was the embodiment of hospitality. Not only did she extend a warm welcome, but she also provided us with valuable recommendations and kindly informed us about the day's specials.

Eager to explore their offerings, I opted for their signature coffee, the Maple Bacon Brew - a refreshing concoction of maple cold brew, housemade jerk sauce, and crowned with torch marshmallow fluff and crispy bacon bits. Served cold, this unique blend was a delightful awakening of flavors. My friend, on the other hand, enjoyed a cappuccino, and together we savored a slice of their moist Lemon Olive Oil Cake - a perfect balance of deliciousness without being overly sweet.

For the main course, we both indulged in the Breakfast Hash. Despite the unavailability of their house-smoked brisket, the Pork Belly Hash and Chicken Sausage Hash proved to be exceptional alternatives. Opting for scrambled eggs myself instead of poached, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were - so much so that I devoured them without my usual ketchup topping.

The true highlight of the meal, however, was the Brioche French Toast. Despite not being avid fans of traditional French toast due to its often soggy texture, we were absolutely blown away by their rendition. A classic Tres Leches-soaked Brioche French Toast, adorned with a bruleéd sugar crust and drizzled with maple syrup, created a symphony of flavors and textures that left us craving for more. The bruleéd sugar crust, in particular, was a revelation.

I must commend Sol for providing us with the best customer experience throughout our visit. Her warmth and attentiveness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. This place is indeed a hidden culinary treasure, and I find myself daydreaming about that exquisite Brioche French Toast. I can't wait to return for more culinary delights and the cozy ambiance that makes this place truly special.

Absolutely delish! Everything from the matcha to the breakfast dishes was delicious. Adorable little spots tucked steps away from the beach and just off Oakland Boulevard. Accessible parking (pay by phone). Went on a Saturday morning around 9:15. I suggest getting there early, as it gets busy quickly, and you may need to wait for a table. The service was great and friendly. As mentioned, the matcha lattes (hot and iced) were on point and not too sweet. The scone (lemon blueberry) and cinnamon roll tasted homemade in the best possible way. The main dishes (breakfasr dish, bkt sandwich with added egg) were the perfect portion, very flavorful and fresh. Will definitely return, and I definitely recommend you try out Spuds. Hidden little gem that won't disappoint.

Lovely place for brunch! The cafe was very clean, coffee was well balanced and food was delicious 😋 we ordered a triple shot latte, French toast and home fries. We were coming in from an early morning flight and had a long day ahead of us and this was the perfect pick me up.

Spud’s Coffee is a somewhat new coffee spot near the intersection of Oakland Park Blvd and A1A in the Galt Mile area. The food and treats are baked in house, and the menu looks to have a great variety. Quiches, scones, and sandwiches, are among the items they offer that I tried and found to be delicious. As far as which coffee they serve, I’m not entirely sure, when I visited I saw they were selling Edison Coffee Co. Telegraph Blend, perhaps that’s what they were serving at the time. The coffee was great! Spud’s seems to craft unique signature drinks that might only be on the menu for a season. The Berry Blossom signature drink that they had in the spring was fantastic, and should have been kept on the menu longer, perhaps even all year round.
The interiors of the coffee shop is an eclectic mix, mostly contemporary with a nod to traditional. It fits East Fort Lauderdale, relaxed enough for tourists and families and also feeling somewhat familiar for the old-timers. With all the windows near the entrance, it gets a lot of natural light, which I like. You do have to pay to park in this area, which is a bummer, but still this coffee shop is worth checking out. Great coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming environment, I will definitely come back to Spud’s for a visit when I’m in the neighborhood.

One word WOW! Spuds passed the Macciato test with flying colors! 9.9 out of 10. I normally don't order sweets but the French toast recommended by the server was out of this world. Look at the photos. Francesca was my server she was kind polite and did an amazing job. I currently work as a server and I can attest to this from experience. The vibe of this shop is cute quiet and cultured a great place to meet up with friends or get busy work done. Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

2/17/2024: Pretty decor, boutique type of setting. Best French toast I've had since Hotel Bennett in South Carolina!!! I can't stop thinking about it! Service staff is efficient but cold. Greg up at the front/register was so warm and welcoming that we'll be back plus I must have that Brioche French toast again. My to-go cappuccino was also a 5-star pleaser.

My favorite local coffee place in Lauderdale! Although it's new, they've done a great job at starting off on the right foot.
Coffee has been on point EVERYTIME- I always order an oatmilk cappuccino.
I haven't ordered food yet, but the people I'm with have always said it's great. The best part is not spending $8 on a cappuccino like most places nowadays. The ambiance is also super cute and clean, and the staff are always super nice and accommodating. 10/10!

I stopped in the coffee shop for breakfast because it was near my hotel and it was so good I came back the next day too. The servicer was friendly and quick, the atmosphere was inviting and trendy. I had quiche and scones the first day and quiche and banana bread the next day. You can tell the food is made fresh and the iced coffee is really good. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'm sure the next time I'm in Fort Lauderdale I'll visit here again.
