This is THE place to go for a great experience.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my time here.
I left uncomfortably full, but it was worth it.

The service was outstanding. Our waiter was friendly and informative. The vibe of the place was awesome. Decorations were great and the open window view brought everything together.

The food was some of the most visually pleasing I've seen.
The flavors were off the charts and the menu selection made me wand two stomachs.

It was a bit pricey, but I'd gladly pay whatever they ask in order to recreate the experience I had here.

Wowowowow so happy we were able to get a table on v-day late notice. Our server was over the top - told us his favorites and boy were they good - special was a filet Mignon 👌🏽 I had the duck and it was truly exceptional. Hard to find a restaurant that does duck right and they certainly did. We also had the elote appetiser that I loved. The peanut butter dessert put us over the edge. It was delicious! All of it was soo soo good and triple gong worthy.

My fiancee and I grabbed an early dinner at this charming mountain town restaurant while taking a short vacation to Taos and were completely blown away by the quality. A pleasantly chic, polished and low key dining room full of unstained wood and a sweet dog named Basil greeted us, seating was immediate (but we had reservations and were slightly early.) Waiters were attentive and other servers grabbed small things and refilled waters regularly, including checking in for the final check despite a by then full dining room.

He menu is divided evenly between entrees and small plates, which also double as appetizers. Advertising as uplifted American the current menu seems to be taking several nods from Thai cooking, something I cant be too upset about. We got an order of the birria egg rolls, the chefs protein (a locally sourced "wangus" filet with potatoes, summer squash and a Chile sauce), and the arroz con puerco, a marinated pork belly over rice and corn. Add in a roasted sishito/grapefruit amuse bouche, cocktail, wine and a decadently creamy berry cheesecake with its fantastic berry topping and quenelle of house whipped cream and it's a meal worth driving for. Flavor and presentation on everything was excellent. My fillet was meltingly tender, as was the pork belly, both cooked exquisitely. The birria egg rolls was a particularly enjoyable surprise, incredibly crisp with no extra oil. The bean sprouts served with it were impeccable, a sign of a restaurant with excellent QC and provisioning because God knows you can't keep a bean sprouts fresh for more than about five minutes.

I'm not a restaurant critic, I don't eat out that often, but this meal destroyed anything else I've had in New Mexico in the last 9 months. It was better than Sazon certainly.

Best place we’ve enjoyed dinner in the Taos area. We were really impressed with our drinks, apps and entrees. The menu had classic dishes with a twist of unique flavors. The stuffed portobello was fantastic and the portion size was generous. Ring the gong at the end of dinner!

We were first time here - and we have one of the best restaurant experience ever. Relaxed ambience, nice music. The food was excellent (Wangus filet mignon, Achiote sweet chile chicken, key lime pie), also the wine list. Our server Michelle did a great job, thank you! We would like to return asap!

Experienced Chef Safford's new menu tonight. Wonderful dinner of lamb chops with corn ribs - the corn ribs are exceptional, the lamb chops delicious. My wife found the Korean BBQ Bahn Mai flavorful. We highly recommend Aceq Restaurant if you're anywhere near Taos. Wish we lived closer to enjoy all of Chef Safford's culinary offerings.

Delicious and fresh food. Good drinks. Fun night out spot. Friendly staff. The truffle fries were super good and so was their corn. Delicious scallops. 7 of us and all of us loved our dishes. Can’t go wrong it seems!

Wonderful discovery! Quaint restaurant with a good vibe. Owner is very personable, staff is friendly and I sat in the side bar and watched the crew of chefs work magic! Had the bacon wrapped dates, fried Brussel sprouts and the soup of the day… all in a class of their own. I didn’t have the special but I snagged a pic of it and it looked so interesting. Cheesecake was excellent, too. I travel a lot and this is a top notch spot! I’ll be back… Likely each night I’m in the area!

What's the quickest way to turn a small mountain town into a five-star resort? Add a restaurant like Aceq. We ate here 3 out of the 5 nights we spent near Arroyo Seco, and were never disappointed. The service and food quality here are second to none. The steak, although a bit expensive, was one of the best I've had anywhere.

Hands down the best food in the Taos area! If you are in town you have to make the short trip up to Arroyo Seco to visit this spot. I mean, the photos speak for themselves.

I stumbled on it when searching for a great place to get a steak, and between half of the Taos restaurants being closed during the week and those that weren’t having questionable reviews, I expanded our search and am so glad I did!

Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the food rivals some of the best restaurants in our foodie home town of Austin. The food quality was out of this world, and the flavor combination on the fried nori canapé we got was SO unique and delicious!

Definitely don’t skip out on the bison bone marrow or steak if on the menu, either. We got a wangus ribeye, and it was perfectly medium well and so flavorful from the flame grill it was charred on. We were so excited to dig in after the amazing appetizers that we forgot to take a photo before we started eating 😂

We walked out so full and happy, and for an amazing price point for fine dining. Usually I leave a high end experience wanting to eat a snack due to small portion sizes, but what we ordered was an insane bang for our buck on flavor and portion.

You have to come here if you are in the area!!

If you are near Taos Ski Valley, THIS is the restaurant you want to have dinner at. Everything on the menu is exquisite. Amazing service from our server Nick from the moment we walked in to the last bite of dessert. The flavors are divine and expertly spiced and seasoned. Consistently impressed by the food in this quiet little community.

We stumbled on Aceq leaving the ski valley and sat at the bar which was a really fun experience. Our bartender was lovely and welcoming and she made us some delicious “silver coin” margaritas while walking us through the menu. We shared some small plates that were super yummy, namely the elote corn and German meatballs! The town Arroyo Seco is adorable, it looks like something straight off a postcard. If we were staying in town longer we would definitely return!!

We were referred to this restaurant by a local and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate the last day of our vacation trip to Taos. Elijah and his crew are truly welcoming and deserving of a five star status the brussels sprouts were amazing the entrées were awesome and the desserts were amazing

Best restaurant in Toas. If anyone is looking for genuine hospitality and friendliness amongst great food. This is the place to come. Reservations are highly recommended. 10/10 would come here again when we’re in town.

Our favorite! I love the specials, the seasonal menu, the service, the wine pairing with the specials, the atmosphere, and feeling good about the food I'm eating. We love bringing friends here when they visit Taos. Last time I had the ratatouille with shrimp and loved it. We always get the brussel sprouts and always ALWAYS get the key lime pie.

The meal last night for the 3 of us was one of the best ever. Brad was possibly the best server I’ve ever had. He got us excited about a special cocktail he came up with - the Nom Nom - and his description of the German Special for the night sold us immediately.
The pork melted in my mouth, the dumplings were perfect, the cabbage slaw so unique and the demi glaze was mind blowing. Unreal experience, can’t wait to go back
