Great ice cream, great brunch menu. Can't recommend this place highly enough. All the seating is outdoors, but the creek area is popular with kids. If you're headed up to TSV or down to Taos proper, make sure you stop in for a delicious dip.

It's cozy and worth the drive. There are many options to pick from (ice cream), friendly staff, and place to sit and enjoy the weather.

Parking is a little bit hectic but worth it.

Ice cream shop with the best bagels? Absolutely. Taos Cow was the perfect pit stop on my way back to Albuquerque. The kimchi works bagel was the perfect combination of flavors. Perfectly toasted bagel with avocado, sweet onions and sprouts. Not an actual restaurant (more like a stationary food trunk) but plenty of seating around back.

Taos Cow is awesome! Kids cones and ice-cream were a hit, the latte was delicious, and the burritos were hands-down the best we have ever had!

Been coming here for two years in a row now and their breakfast burritos don't miss 11/10. I always pick one up on the way to the mountain and eat it after parking and suiting up!

What a great find!

The food was very good and ice cream was too.

The parking lot gets full rather fast so you might have to be prepared to walk a little ways. Also, the food prep can take about 20-30min depending on what you order, so don’t go in a rush.

This is definitely a place I’d stop at on the way back from the Ski Valley.

Great place for ice cream. They make their chocolate with Ghirardelli’s chocolate. Yum. They also have a lovely area in the back with a babbling brook that adds to the experience. Enjoy!

One of the best spots in Taos for breakfast burritos. One of a kind type of cooking. Very filling and delicious. Try the ice cream!
Stop on your way to ski Taos mountain or if you’re doing a half day stop on the way back into town, definitely worth it!
Great family business.

Delicious! All ice cream made in house. We tried the Lavender which was delicious, the flavoring was just right not overpowering. And the Mexican Chocolate was good but we expected a bit of heat but there was none. Hope to come back soon to try other flavors.

I've been here almost 50 times. My go-to is a veggie bagel (perfect balance of cream cheese and veggies on a lightly toasted bagel-yummm) and a Flying Cow. !!

Best ice cream in Toes for sure, their food is pretty great as well, they have some fantastic breakfast burritos, and one of my favorites “sandwiches” Lox bagel.
They are very consistent. They are located in this charming little town, villa called Arroyo Seco. go check them out.

A local special! Makesure to look for this treat in the photo. It's a scoop of ice cream with a shot of espresso poured on top. The food here is good too! Always come back when I go through town

An unexpectedly wonderful breakfast stop out in what seems to be the middle of nowhere... the bacon breakfast burrito had several slices of super crisp bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, creamy cheese, chunks of potato, and came with a packet of Cholula hot sauce. The tortilla was fluffy, thick, and soft like they are in this part of the country, and it as a super satisfying breakfast for two. The coffee drinks were delicious, fast, and wonderfully hot (unusual at altitude at most coffee stands). And we had room for ice cream. *laughs* Life is uncertain, you have to eat dessert first!!

The Chocolate Rio Grande was full of rich pinon and walnuts and was a beautiful, deep dark chocolate with good quality crisp chips of dark chocolate. My husband loved the Cafe Ole, which was really rich with cinnamon good coffee flavors and more of that great chocolate. I'm sad I can't buy Taos Cow ice cream in the grocery stores anymore, so was willing to make the trek out to get it at their shack. The quality of the food was well worth the extra miles on our trip.

Fresh blueberry ice cream was unbelievable! Peach was underwhelming. Not much flavor and frozen pieces were too big. Lavender was just the right mix of flavor and creaminess. Also had a BLT, which was fantastic.

Ice cream is a must here! The servings are generous and so delicious! I had a cone with one scoop of pinion caramel and lavender and the hubs had Mexican chocolate and cherry. All flavors were amazing! They also have food too. We had some of the green chile stew and it was awesome with big chunks of chicken and Hominy. So good. Plus they have a little sitting g area overlooking a babbling little brook and a great mountain View. Thus is not in Taos proper but Arroyo Seco which is about 15 min north. Worth the detour as there are a few other great little shops here.

In addition to being in the perfect spot, the food is fast and fabulous. Taking a break from the Taos scene at the Cow is cool and cooling, since they make the best ice cream ever.

Lemongrass Ice Cream was outstanding. I love the unique flavor and it's executed really really well.

This place has great ice cream that is all homemade! Plus if you are with a large group you can eat outside on the benches. Also they don’t just have ice cream. They have some great breakfast foods. Definitely coming back.
