At Comfort Dental, they belittled me. Valer dental wouldn't take my insurance.
UNM treated me like a human, Dr. Rodriguez fixed my cracked filling, and came up with an entire treatment plan. I had my teeth cleaned which Valer dental said couldn't be done without an expensive gum therapy. Dr. Hitchens took over my treatment plan and is wonderful.

My husband was seen here today and I just have to say how wonderful everyone was there. He has tons of anxiety but he was made to feel at ease.

Natalie was wonderful, Danielle was super patient and understanding, Dr. Hooper was just fantastic all around and made my husband feel at ease. I don't remember our Dental Assistants name, she was a student from CNM; she was wonderful as well. Again, I want to thank them all for everything they do and everything they did for my husband in his time of need.

This clinic is the best! My new crowns look amazing. I am so grateful to Dr. Brandon Clayton. He's friendly and compassionate, and does his best to avoid unnecessary work. The front desk customer care is also unbelievably wonderful. Thank you UNM Dental Services (Residency Clinic) for all the great care and new smile. 😃

The residents are switched out every year and this January I found a dentist I really would have liked to keep. He did great work on my teeth and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt comfortable when Dr. Chen was doing my fillings and my crown. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chen.

I hadn't seen a dentist in 6 years. They scheduled my cleaning and a much needed repair after performing an x-ray and creating my charts. Matt and Lauren are top notch. My doc and her assistant fixed my grill nicely. Can't say enough good things about these folks.

My two front teeth have chips that are filled in with composite. The composite chips a lot because it's not very hard. My regular dentist was out of town when I got another chip and I've had a lot of luck with other student health services so I went to the residency clinic. The dentist that fixed my tooth made it a lot stronger/thicker than my dentist does and he made it flush with the tooth next to it so that it was less likely to chip. It actually feels stronger. also, It's been a couple of months and I haven't had any billing issues. Maybe they were having billing issues in the past, but it seems like they've fixed them 🤞

This is a busy office but the doctors, assistants and the rest of the staff were awesome. They took the time to hear my concerns for my smile at the first exam appointment and the dentist worked a treatment plan with me sitting there talking through the options with me. The dentist was a new dentist resident - just graduated from dental school(?). They even had the financial lady come into the room and sit wth me to explain what the insurance estimates to cover. I have dealt with insurance companies in the past and I know that the insurance companies are the ones that play games. This place is very upfront about costs and really does try to explain the costs that may/may not be paid for. Thank you UNM for helping me get the smile that I have always dreamed I would have.

**side-note** I also like how the front desk introduces themselves to patients. I was comfortable here. :)

I really have dental anxiety. Going to the dentist is always a anxiety producing experience. But Dr. Nichole Eckelcamp ( i think that's how you spell it) really went above and beyond for me. Her demeanor made the entire experience easier than any dental appointment I have ever had. I have not had any issues. I would highly recommend.

Every time I have been to this clinic the staff has been caring, understanding, and non-judgmental. As someone with major dental issues (physical and anxiety) this is the one place that I don't hate going, and that is BIG. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of.

I am deathly afraid of the dentist but everytime I come here they are so u understanding and nice. Could not ask for a better dentist. Everyone is friendly . They actually talk to you as well instead of ignoring your very existence. 5 stars all around. Would definitely recommend.

I've always been treated extremely well here! I actually like the fact that this is a training facility for aspiring dental students. I feel like, because of this, they go over and beyond in assuring that my mouth is well cared for. Best cleanings I've had, actually!
