I love the ambiance of Kau. It's chill but classy. I went for a business networking event with the Vela Foundation. I loved the event and loved the appetizers they served. They had buffalo dip, sausage dip, artichoke dip, meatballs, salad, veggies, chicken salad, chicken tenders, brownies, and cookies. It was truly a top-tier experience.

Absolutely loved it! Our waitress was phenomenal, so helpful and funny! The food was just incredible, we tried the soul rolls, brisket Mac & cheese, and steak tips bowl! 🤤🤤🤤🤤😍😍

This place was spectacular! They have their own butcher shop on premises and have fresh meat daily. The food, just wow! We had a bacon plate for an appetizer, brisket macaroni and cheese, grilled pork chop and shrimp skewers. The atmosphere was perfect. The wait staff exceptional!

I really loved everything about this place. The walk across the bridge was nice, the sever D'Angelo was friendly and on point,the short ribs were tender and tasty and the outdoor sitting was beautiful. I would definitely be back.

This place was amazing!!! The service here was unmatched, we walked in at 9:15 pm & Danielle took great care of us & there was no rush on anything! I got the Mac and cheese brisket and my friend got the Mac and cheese Buffalo chicken, such large portions and the taste was phenomenal! The ambiance of the entire restaurant is great, with the lights and the industrial theme 🤩 Would highly recommend Kau, especially if you’re a beef lover - and if not, they have so many other options!

Our first visit to Kau, but definitely not our last — a perfect date night spot! We were seated quickly without a reservation around 8:00 on a Friday night. The Butcher Burger and mashed potatoes were incredible (best potatoes I’ve ever had), as was the mixed berry cheesecake. We had fantastic service from Ella, who was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu — I would absolutely request her again!

Hidden gem, I've gone to many butchers around the country, and this place is my favorite. Great quality meat and other foods like bone marrow,pork belly ( burnt ends was great) duck breast, and oxtails ( which are perfect and full of meat, not just fat and bone). I've had the whole brisket, which was perfect. Im actually going to get another for this Easter Sunday. The bone marrow was liquid gold. And probably my favorite is the full bone in beef ribs. I thought Lamb chops was my favorite cut of meat, but Kau won me over with the beef ribs. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and what i like most importantly it isn't one of those butchers where it's like " what you see is what we have." Talk to the butchers and inform them on what you're looking for, and they'll help you find what you're looking for if its not in the display window.

I was in Greensboro visiting a friend and her family. They made reservations for us at Kau and I’m glad they did. The chophouse is located at the Revolution Mill which is a repurposed industrial mill.

I opted to sit on the patio and enjoy the scenery. I tried the watermelon martini which was the drink special of the day and the pulled pork Mac n cheese. Both were very good. As an appetizer we had the spinach dip which was also great.

The steaks were reasonably priced and smelled good, but the Mac n cheese looked too good not to try.

This is by far a date night staple for my husband and I.

The food and atmosphere are amazing! I looovve the Collard Green Dip and I’ll probably never go without ordering it. We have made it a point to try different things on the menu and the are ALL delicious. The cocktails are also really good and not watered down at all.

We have brought our kids once and they equally think it’s delicious, but we will keep it as our place for now.

I love Kau, and recommend it often and everyone who’s tried it thank me later.

For greensboro this place is nice. Appetizer was great. Entree was really good too. I got the short rib, imo it deff could be seasoned more/better- had to add salt and pepper (I'm used to making my own) but other than that the portions are good

We only recently moved to Greensboro and still exploring different places to eat. Went here for lunch and is our first visit and will not be our last. The building is awesome. There are so many other items on the menu we can't wait to try. I had the special of the day, the pork belly tacos and I think andoullie sausage. I stopped listening after pork belly. Great flavor. We also tried the brisket Mac n cheese. Delicious. I wish there was a mac n cheese trio option but i guess we will just have to make several visits. Our server was friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Our first time visit was such a wonderful experience a couple of weeks ago. We were at Kau's for Saturday night dinner date and our service was excellent, and the space was relaxing and welcoming! I can not remember our server's name but she was very attentive and good to us! Great healthy choices, too!

Let me start by saying that the restaurant is beautifully placed and it is a lovely place to dine. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous with a mix of old and new, love the steel and exposed beams. The food was incredibly tasty. The brisket mac and cheese was divine. Everything tasted perfect and service was great. We will be back!

It’s the EVERYTHING for me ! I made sure to try different appetizers and dishes! My server was amazing! The atmosphere was great! I can’t wait to come back for a date night!

Very well decorated! Creativity abounds, even to the naming of market items! Excellent service and abundance of smiles by all! Lots of seating options. I guess we got there early enough on a Friday without reservations. I was there for a business dinner, and I will definitely come back for lunch!

Went here for dinner with family. Got the burger with the bacon on it, I remember what it's called on the menu. It was good. Our waitress was great and was very friendly. I can't remember her name though. Anyway, pretty good food, good service. Would recommend.

Kau (pronounced COW) was amazing! Just went to hang out with some co-workers and eat and drink. The food was spectacular and it’s a great environment. Live music was definitely a plus and it is very spacious with outdoor seating options too, for those that like the outdoors. Would definitely recommend it!

Amazing menu. Great food. The platters and meat and cheese and olives were so yummy. Steaks are prices but definitely top notch. I love industrial look, especially the huge windows. The old brick and beams are amazing I love that it was left as original as possible. The drink menu is nice with lots of beer options and mixed drinks that are made strong enough not to disappoint. The desserts are great as well with options for everyone. It would be nice to know if we could have parked elsewhere though because it was very cold and a far walk. The holiday decor added a nice touch. I can't wait until it's warm enough to eat outside.

We arrived on a day when they weren't supposed to be seating anymore for the day but they allowed us in anyway since we'd travel so far to get there and I'm glad they did! The restaurant is very industrial yet chic. As it was built from a repurposed cotton mill factory. It has a great gourmet menu with a nice selection of craft beer. Not to mention a top notch butcher shop that just so happens to be attached. The outside boasts many photo opportunities too with a little creek running under the restaurant and through the overall complex.

My whole family came with me and we all ordered different things. I ordered the ‘Butcher Burger’ and OMG it was so good. One of the best burgers I’ve had honestly. I got it cooked Medium well and it was slightly pink and perfect for people who are scared/don’t like eating pink meat. It was so juicy and fresh and the cheese was so stringy. Overall very flavorful and delicious.
I also tried my mom’s ‘Brisket Tocos’ and IT WAS SO GOOD. If you are in the mood for barbecue flavor I highly recommend that item. It came with 3.
