The owner was incredible and made sure our experience was top notch. The food was fresh, fast, and delicious. I couldn't recommend this place more, if you're in the bear lake area this is a must stop.

Owner is down to earth & humble. He is also the chef that prepares the meals & is generous in portions. Great latin spin on All-American cuisine & authentic Caribbean options.

We stopped by when visiting Bear Lake North shore and what a hidden gem. Not your typical beach food shack, there is a Chef at work who elevates the basics. My hubby had the chicken sandwich and I had the quesadilla. Food was amazing!! Melt in your mouth chicken, perfectly toasted bread, the quesadilla was sweet and savory, nothing bland here! We could go on and on. Definitely worth a visit!

Charming little place tucked a short distance away from the north beach. The atmosphere is cozy and the decor is unique; definitely not the kind you’d find in some chain restaurant. I liked the fact that they have some Dominican takes on classics and that the owner took the time to tell me what he recommended. You could tell that he takes pride in what he produces, and it shows in the quality of the food. We had an American wagyu cheeseburger, a Dominican style chicken sandwich, quesadillas, and fries. Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. Even my incredibly picky child enjoyed the food we got for them. I regret not getting the fried plantains, but I will definitely come back here for them next time I’m in the area.

We were checking our Bear Lake State Park Idaho and looking for a unique place to have lunch. There were four in our group. We tried the chicken sandwich, quesadilla, fried plantains, and cassava. The food was excellent with generous portions. A GREAT place for some Dominican food.

Great service, great food, great location! Everything was fresh! My kids all said five stars wasn’t enough and wish they could give 100 stars. Love supporting a small business owner that takes pride in their craft.

restaurant was hidden, but absolutely amazing! we got the fries to start and just kept going back to try more and more of the food. everything was absolutely delicious and perfect. 10/10 recommend stopping by to visit this place if u want some yummy food that’s not the classic american burger that you can find in garden city!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We got the Wagyu burger, chicken sandwich and a chicken quesadilla. We were in heaven! Different than anything else in the area and full of flavor! Can’t wait to go back

This place is an absolute Gem. They serve the best sandwiches I have eaten in the U.S so far. On top of that we had wonderful plantain and roasted pineapples for desert. Special thanks to Francesco (the owner/cooker) for his warm welcome and everything he shared with us. If you are in Bear Lake, you have to go there.

Cinco Estrellas!! Five star all around. I’ve been craving a burger and this place had the most amazing wegu burger I’ve ever had. I’m definitely returning back when visiting Bear lake.

Awesome place to eat. I ate lunch and had the wagyu burger and it was amazing. Comes with chips and a drink. He has a Flambė pinaple plate you have to ask for, but its so good. Dont hesitate, just go...Bart

Bearlake Munchies is fantastic. We went on July 4 weekend and though they were out of most stuff (they got slammed by the holiday beach crowd), the owner/chef was still able to make us his absolutely delicious Dominican style chicken sandwich from scratch. The sandwich is served on a perfect French bread roll, griddled/toasted, with tender pulled chicken, pickled veggies, and just the right amount of sauce (ketchup, mustard, and a light amount of mayo). I thought it was especially great with a little cholula hot sauce.

This place needs more business. It's tucked away behind North Beach rentals and the Epic Recreation place. Don't miss it!

This place is a real gem. Francisco is an amazing host and his food is spectacular. My son and I had a hamburger and it was really tasty. My daughter had the nachos and my wife had the hotdog. He has given the food the most important ingredient which is his passion and love for what he does. I can recommend this place to anyone.

I've been coming to Bear Lake my entire life. My wife and I have eaten at every restaurant in the Garden city area and Munchies blows them out of the water. The carne asada torta was the best I've ever eaten. The fries where fresh from the fryer, perfectly seasoned, and his homemade fry sauce was amazing. We will be eating here every time we come to Bear Lake.

Great food! Kids loved the carne asada and chicken tortas along with the quesadillas. It was just one guy working there all by himself. We soaked in the hot spring and had an early dinner.
