This town looks like it’s right out of a western ski movie! Set between two mountains. The red river ski base area is maybe 100 yards off Main Street. I didn’t go into the visitor center, but ate a hamburger right outside of it.

This is a really nice center. There is plenty of info. Look for the tall round flyer holder. It has the real scoop. (Not just advertising from companies) there is a sheet on gold panning, Jeep trails, hot springs, hiking, events and a lot of other things. There is room to sit and cool if in the air conditioning if you need to. There are restrooms. Behind the building there is a nice photo op bridge over the river. This is where a lot of trails start if you feel like hiking. the people are friendly.

Great place to get lots of information about lodging and things to do in and around Red River and surrounding areas, Taos, Angel Fire, Eagles Nest, etc. Nice, clean public restrooms. It has a nice size event room if you need to host a party or get together.

I really like this small in town park. They always have something going on there; art shows, motorcycle rally's, a car show the last time I was there. You can also access a very nice hiking/walking trail from the visitor's center that winds it's way along the banks of the Red River.

What a welcome to Red River! This beautiful facility right on the banks of the Red River and the center of town had beautiful, friendly people working there that presented the first happy faces of the town. They were informative and advocated taking part in the many area activities. The restrooms were ample and clean. The brochures were plentiful and helpful. This is a great starting point for all your Red River adventures!

Great place to park in town and walk around. Clean bathrooms too. Most of the small stores in town do not have public restrooms so take advantage of them here. The staff was friendly and helpful too and they have lots of tourist info here.

For a town the size of Red River the visitor center is huge. Helpful staff. We found out they were having a UTV poker run that next weekend. It was the 1st year & although it was small it was a great time & I'm sure it will grow fast. It's great to be able to ride around town on the UTV's. Please note it is illegal to ride on main street! We saw quite a few idiots who did not follow this I hope it was an expensive lesson for them.

Came here for a friend's wedding reception. The venue was pretty nice. Great location! Would consider using it again if I had an event in the area.

I guess we visited kinda off season, there wasn't a soul in sight when we went in the center. The bathroom was squeaky clean though, thank you so much!
