Lucky Spur Saloon

The Lucky Spur is truly a hidden gem especially when it comes to out in the middle of nowhere saloons, here in Nevada and we always make it a point to stop in for a drink, any time we out in the area. Great atmosphere, super friendly service, reasonably priced drinks and generous pours is all what you can expect to get here and with incredible views to boot. I would highly recommend you make a detour to see and experience this lovely place for yourself.

Okay, so we didn't actually have a chance to go inside the place. We were staying at the Miles End B&B next door (which I can't recommend enough) and got in pretty late and had to leave fairly early the next morning. But if what we saw from walking around the exterior was any indication, this place is super quirky and has an amazingly fun atmosphere! I so want to come back!

Visited this saloon two afternoons in a row while on vacation in our RV. Your hosts, Casey and Cassidy, are two of the friendliest people you will ever meet. From the moment you enter their saloon until the time you leave, they are engaged with ALL their customers, making everyone feel right at home! The cocktails are fantastic, the beer is cold, the view from the bar is second to none, and hospitality is off the charts good! It's only a short hop off Highway 50 down State Highway 376 from Austin, Nevada and well worth the detour! Can't wait to get back there again!

We were traveling across country in our big RV from California to Texas in search of unique and amazing places and we sure found it at the Lucky Spur in Kingston, Nevada. It is definitely the best Bar in the middle of nowhere. The owners Robyn and Joey are transplants from California who traveled the country looking for their perfect place to live and bought this classic bar. If you are traveling across Nevada on US 50 Kingston is a short distance from Austin, Nv. and well worth the side trip. They even have a large enough parking for a large RV.

We go here every year and love this place. We met Mr. Baird there last year and we caught up with him again this year. Great atmosphere, great bartender and great spirits.

This bar is by far the best place you can find a nice cool beer on tap and the worlds best margarita on the rocks a girl can ask for. The bar owners and operators Robyn and Joey Veach make this one of a kind bar in the tiny Town of Kingston, NV a must see stop on any bucket list that brings you to Northern Nevada. In fact it may be just be the #1 on your bucket list.

No food, but plenty of snacks including goldfish crackers.... My weakness)
