Laspada's Original Hoagies - Lauderdale-By-The-Sea

One of the best authentic Italian subs in the area! I'm from NYC & was very impressed especially with their hot/sweet cherry pepper blend. Definitely worth a visit if you ever find yourself in LBTS & don't want to spend outrageous restaurant money!

Has the greatest subs in Florida I would recommend people to go there once you try it you will go over and over again so please go try it you will not be disappointed.

I've been coming there since the late 70's when it was just a lil shop with great hoagies. They definitely have come a long way over the years. I live in Michigan now but, every time I get down there it's a must have. When i was a kid We would walk down from the fishing pier and get lunch and go back and eat it on the pier. I was disappointed the pier is no longer safe to go on. But you can still take it up to the beach and enjoy one of the best hoagie you ever had. 🏴‍☠🇺🇸

Had my first Hoagie here and fell in love.
The meat/sausage and the cheese are freshly sliced for you and draped in an artistic way (thrown from the slicer "across" the bar on to the bread") on your Hogie. Furthermore the service is very customer focused and the tables are regularly cleaned.

10/10 all around! We tried 3 different subs (mama, meat ball & Italian) and each one was better than the first! The bread is soooo soft! The staff was incredible and even let me try the chicken salad. It was delicious !!!!!! Don’t be alarmed if they throw the meat into your bread… it’s all part of the experience 🙂 can’t wait to return for a chicken salad!

Love, love, love the sandwiches here. A must stop when you go to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. We took ours out and had seaside dining!

Ordered 6 subs on a busy Sunday afternoon and they were spot on and excellent. The store was well staffed and they were putting out some Beautiful subs 😋 you can't beat a Laspada's sub

Laspada’s is a fast-paced deli that serves up great tasting hoagies. In addition to getting a sandwich made to your liking you’ll also get a show while moving down the food line. Meats are sliced for each individual sandwich, piled on the hoagie roll and topped with your choice of veggies, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and oregano.
This little spot was full of employees with amazing energy who provided excellent customer service. I’m not sure how they kept up with all the customers but their system worked and they moved a line full of people through very quickly. We ordered an Italian sandwich which comes with ham, Genoa salami, cappicola and provolone. This is a delicious combination of meat, cheese and veggies all served on a soft hoagie roll. We also had a ham, turkey and cheese hoagie which had a hearty helping of meat. The sweet tea was ice cold and refreshing. If you’re looking for a tasty sandwich come check out Laspada’s!

Love the way they throw the meat on the sub. I've seen it packed with customers and 6 guys on the line making subs and the meat slicer tossing meat through the air to beautifully be caught in the sub. The other day was only 1 gentleman slicing and building and he still tossed it on, which was great! Toppings wise you cannot miss the sweet peppers, they're fantastic to round out the sub. They've also got rare canned sodas like black cherry that hit the spot! I also tried the triple fudge brownie, exquisite, and got the big bag of salt & vinegar chips. Never had a bad or mid experience, this place is top tier! 🏆

The staff here is great, nothing but good things to say. The sandwich is fresh and delicious, 10/10 recommend

If you enjoy a great sub, Laspadas needs to be on your to do list. I've watched them grow in South Florida from the first shop on Sea Grape (now relocated close by) to multiple locations for our convenience. I'm not a paid reviewer; just a fan of food done right.

It's a small place--with a few seats and tables for dining in. It works--you're there for a great sub experience, and so is everyone else there. BIG subs and tasty ingredients...especially their sweet pepper blend that you MUST order for your Italian sub--no matter how you modify it--you won't get this anywhere else--got it? Give me the thumbs up after you've tried it👍.
I recommend you do what I do: Go with a friend...you order the Italian sub and your friend/partner/lover/whatever orders the tuna sub (equally awesome) and trade halves... Best of both for maximum culinary delight 😎👍

Not a huge selection of veggies, but you get a lot of meat on each sandwich and what they do have is great. The food there never disappoints and the staff is always super friendly. I took my boyfriend here and now its his favorite place. He gets a sub here every week. I'd definitely recommend this Laspada's location to anyone I know.

Best Hoagies ever for a great price! You have to watch this team at work! Just when you think they have your sandwich made, another stack of meat gets tossed from the slicer man. It's huge!

Awesome awesome awesome. I had the large italian and could only eat half. Parking was a little bit of a challenge as I am not from the area, but nothing crazy and partly difficult because of me lol. The service was very friendly and the speed my order was made was super quick (guess there's more than one freaky fast sandwich shop in town... ). I swear I couldn't have been inside more than 5 minutes. My sandwich was very very good, I prefer shredded lettuce and thinly sliced onions, here both were chopped but that's not even worth taking a star away for, just personal preference. 5 star food, 5 star service, I will definitely be back. You guys rock!
