Our first time eating here, and we will be definitely coming back! Everything in this place is amazing, the atmosphere is very cozy and private, no loud annoying music so you can have a normal conversation. The service is great, and the food... let me tell you it's the best in the area for sure! Nothing to complain about, owners did a great job and it feels like they really care about their place. I would highly recommend!

I ate here for the first time last night. The experience was wonderful! All the food was delicious, the customer service was top notch, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and warm. There's no question that the owners take great pride in their work. Thank you both for providing us with a great experience!

If you are looking for fresh homemade pasta in a cozy and welcoming setting, look no further! My husband and I enjoyed picking our wine from the great selection available. We ordered the pear antipasti, the osso buco with pappardelle, and the veal saltimbocca with pasta. Everything was so delicious that we cleaned our plates. Unfortunately we did not have space for dessert. The service was spot on, we will definitely be back!

The owner is a wonderful human. The food is amazing, I enjoyed every dish presented, I especially loved the short ribs, calamari and lamb chops. Every dessert yummy...I got the tiramisu but tried what everyone else ordered 😊. I'll definitely be back.

Very small, quaint, and wonderful restaurant. Have the owners take care of the restaurant is amazing. Great experience, and the food is out-of-this-world. Highly recommended.

One of the best places in South Florida for an authentic Italian meal. All ingredients are fresh, the service is impeccable, and it feels like eating an Italian meal at Grandma's house. I highly recommend this place!

Was warmly greeted by Paola, a true Italian from the northern region of Torino, Italy.

The dining room was filled with premium Italian wine, baked goods, and pastas available for your take-home purchase. Typically, these items can only be found in Italy or a gourmet market.
This sets the mood for your tastebuds to be reminded of true Italian cooking.

The staff made everyone in the party feel right at home. Paola returned to the table to explain the menu and daily specials. All offerings are made with fresh ingredients. Nothing is left over from the day before, and nothing is wasted.
Items like New Zeland lamb, made to order Carbonara, fresh Fish, Rabbit, and Osso Bucco are some of the offerings from the chef.

There is a 'Pasta Night' that occurs periodically (call for a must needed reservation) and SELLS OUT. The pasta of choice is made fresh in the dining room and served tableside. Bolognese was served the night we went.
The pasta sauce was prepared in a large carved out parmesan cheese wheel.
The meaty sauce was flambed to perfection, followed by the addition of the aldente pasta.
No meal would be complete with a fresh slice of chocolate hazelnut torte, tiramisu, and a cappuccino.

It was by luck that we stumbled on this gem of a restaurant. However, it has swiftly moved up to one of our favorite Fort Lauderdale restaurants.

Excellent food and very good service in a nice environment. The lasagna, penne alla vodka, taglitelle with crab sauce and bread were all very good. The charcuterie and truffle cream pasta are also very good choices. Go to the Parmigiano Wheel Dinner when offered. Nice Italian wine selection too.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in all of South Florida. The owners and staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to recommend a great wine with the course you order. We've eaten here several times and have always loved everything we've tried. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a perfect place where you can enjoy great food and have a pleasant conversation. We can't recommend this place enough!

My favorite place to eat in Ft. Lauderdale !! Great food, great people , great ambiance and a local’s favorite. An absolute MUST when in the area.

The first time I came with my best friend it was completely booked, in our second attempt we got there slightly earlier. The chances of you getting a table after 7:30pm is slim considering the closing time is 8:30.

We immediately got seated. The picture without food is where someone will be to sit you down. There is a wine area, where you can pick a bottle , if you are unsure they are more than happy to give you a wine suggestion. We went with a nice red table wine that pairs well with everything in the menu. I don’t remember the names of our dishes, but I know the appetizer we chose had cauliflower with garlic, and it was surprisingly delicious. I’m not a big cauliflower fan until I tried the appetizer and now I want to make it at home. The table bread was fresh, the outer layer was crispy while the inside was soft and they added a touch of olive oil. My best friend got a vegetarian mushroom entree and it tasted damn good! I was shocked. I on the other hand had pork with pasta. The pork was juicy, tender and very soft. When I took a bite it felt like I was in paradise especially when paired with the wine. The customer service was outstanding, every single one of our questions were answered. Extremely kind and attentive.

Next time I will bring my boyfriend! Prices are on the higher end but it’s worth it. You will not regret coming. There’s a reason they have a high rating.

Hidden jewel in Fort Lauderdale (at least for me). Home made pasta to enjoy all Italian flavors! Desserts? You need to try all of them because are fresh and delicious! Book your table. It worth !

Is you want mediocre food and poor service I do not recommend this location. If you want possibly the best Italian food in South Florida at a reasonable cost then I do recommend. I had the veal
with pasta and it was EXCELLENT. We also had the lobster ravioli and the cartocho. All dishes excellent. It's not a traditional "restaurant" but it is the best authentic Italian food we have had in South Florida by a ways. Loved it.

For dinner there is lots of free easy parking. We got a seat right away. It's a grocery store with a cafe style restaurant in it. Very nice place. Friendly and helpful waitress who helped me make a good decision on dinner. We didn't have to wait to long to stay eating. The food was very tasty. I will definitely be back. Good job.

Il Paesano is undoubtedly my favorite dining experience in the state. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want a homemade meal, the family will take care of you. The service is unrivaled and everyone is quick to make recommendations, answer questions, and make you feel right at home. My fiancé and I have been coming here often enough that together we’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu - and you absolutely cannot go wrong! Truly one of my favorite restaurants of all time, make sure you’ve got room for dessert.

We cannot remember the last time we ate somewhere the food not only lived up to the hype but exceeded all expectations. The owners were gracious and very proud. The food was exceptional and the dessert was the best thing I’ve put in my mouth in a long time!
