Food was exceptionally good. Service was great. I'm not familiar with this area of town. I drove past the building twice. Which made me late for the group dinner, where everyone had the same dish, which was delicious. The man who approached me as I entered. Told me I was Late loud enough everyone in the restaurant heard him. Rude and unnecessary

i came in while waiting for my husband to finish work for an app and a drink and sat to a table by myself. my server was sooo sweet and kind and attentive. the food was phenomenal. the exterior is unassuming so i was skeptical but the food is to die for. everything was SO fresh. as someone from the jersey area it’s hard to find fresh tomatoes like this and they have done it. the caprese was one of the best i’ve ever had and the calamari was seasoned perfectly especially with the lemon. wine selection was great also.

Italian is not my first choice, but whenever I want Italian foods I would come here. This 23 years old restaurant is highly recommended. Real mom&pop place. The owner, Francesco, has such a warm heart. He made us feel like eating at our grandparents house. He and his wife kept feeding us wonderful and tasty foods. The price is reasonable.

Found it online. Read the reviews and fell in love with the quaint little place. Everyone was friendly. I love it when the owners speak with their customers. The chicken marsala was amazing! (Actually the whole dinner was from start to finish). Thanks for making my birthday a great one!

Can never say a bad thing about this place. Been coming here for years now and each visit gets better and better. Anytime we come for dinner the owner always greets us as if we are family. Always a joy to see the owner and his wife. Staff was very good. Always attentive and helpful. Food ALWAYS on point. You want good authentic food. I’m not kidding come here. Coming to cafe italia is like coming to grandmas house. You know the food will always be fresh , and you’ll always feel loved.

So happy I found this little gem. Best authentic Italian food. I ordered online for pick up. Apparently they were having issues with their phones so they didn’t receive my order. Chef came out the back and explained situation. I was seated while they made my food as I waited with complimentary wine and bread.

Excellent food, service and staff. Owner spoke to us which was nice because he is very sweet. The staff was super nice as well. Food was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. Every dish was unique and tasty. Definitely hit this spot once on your trip.

Incredible food! I’m gluten free and Valerie makes a phenomenal mushroom risotto. They are consistently good. It’s old world and friendly. We come back every time we’re in town!

Second to none in the world! You must GO just for this, and then you will be pleasantly surprised by how good everything else is too!!! Wines, antipasti, etc just WOW!

Absolutely one of our favorite classic Italian family owned restaurants! Everything made fresh to order, reasonably priced, delicious flavors, generous potions. Service slow at times. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Absolutely delicious, the red sauce tastes fully authentic and the server confirmed it was home made. Not too expensive for a place that serves at the high end of quality in Italian. Will be coming here anytime I'm back in Ft Lauderdale for sure.

I've been driving by this place for years and finally came in to eat this evening by happenstance. I ordered broccoli rabe with rigatoni in a garlic and oil sauce and it was phenomenal! I knew from the very first bite that I had stumbled upon a great restaurant that knows what they're doing. This place truly is a hidden gem. I loved how Francesco (the owner) personally came to greet me. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the chef but didn't catch her name. Although not explicitly stated, there's definitely quite a few vegan options and will definitely be returning with my family!

Visiting this place since years, family owned, Pappa welcomes guests in the dining room while Mama is doing her magic in the Kitchen. Absolute Delight every time, no change in excellent Quality & Service before or after the pandemic. One of the best true authentic Italian places.

Three of my friends and I came across the Italian Cafe restaurant on vacation from Ohio. We decided to take a gamble and try the place out. To our surprise the food was absolutely delicious. All four of our meals was awesome. We will definitely come back. Try it out you will not be disappointed. We were even able to meet the owner who was warm and inviting.

Fantastic family-owned small restaurant. Pasta dishes are outstanding. Also try the veal dishes. This place serves wine and beer.

This place was amazing. My 17 year old daughter wanted to come here for her birthday meal. We are vacationing down here for the week and wanted to try something new! This place was amazing service was great and the food was even better. I would highly recommend it if you want good Italian food

Great local Italian restaurant! It was the first time for all of us in the group (party of four). On our way in we were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The wine, food and atmosphere were all excellent! We all thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and will definitely be back!
