Athletico Physical Therapy - Tucson (Central)

I had been carrying a back injury for 8 months and a groin injury for 10 years. After 6 weeks of doing the low impact exercises and stretching I am almost completely pain free! I’m 60 but my body feels 40 again. Go there and get help. You will be glad you did. From Jane and Courtney in the front office to Kylie and Virginia who taught me how to get better, plus the rest of the staff, I am deeply in your debt.

Athletico is a great place for therapy. I truly enjoy coming here for my needs because Nathan, Virginia and xochitl are very patient with me and give me good advice throughout mt sessions that really help me with my recovery. When I come in I see Jane and Courtney, who always have a warm greeting for me when I enter. This is one place that I look forward to coming to every time.

I’ve always had good care and great, effective treatment at Athletico. All of the PTs and PTAs I’ve worked with are knowledgeable , so they know the appropriate treatments that will produce the desired effects. So far I’ve worked with PTs Jeff and Nathan anf knee replacement surgery, and Kylie for arm and shoulder issues. And PTA Virginia was excellent as their assistant for all of these treatments. Virginia was great at carrying out the treatment plans the PTs designated. And sessions with her were as intense as those with the PTs.
It’s always wonderful to walk into the facility and be greeted by name by Courtney and Jane at the front desk. They are always so very welcoming and pleasant, as well as professional. They are wonderful at scheduling appointments and changing them if needed. And if I’m a bit late for my appointment, they call to make sure I’m coming. The facility could not run as well and smoothly without them. They are a valued member of the team.
I go to the Athletico facility on Pima, between Tanque Verde and Craycroft in Tucson.

i cannot say enough good things here...first megan is a mobile pt person and she is outstanding...After my knee replacement i dont know what i would have done without her...thank you Megan....next the staff at the pima street location are fabulous and i mean the entire staff..front desk is helpful, professional and deligjtful...i would recommend all the therapists. special shout out to Kaylee and Virginia...and of course Juan and Jared who help them out.....7 weeks post op and able to walk 4 miles THANK YOU!

Nathan is very knowledgeable and taught the exercises to improve the condition of my shoulder. His treatment resolved the pain issue and he showed me what to do to prevent its return.

I was nervous going to physical therapy. The staff from the office to techs and therapists were phenomenal. They treated me professionally and respectfully. They became almost like family. They helped me walk again and strengthen my core, teaching me helpful tips. I would recommend them to my family and friends. They are an amazing group of professionals who know what is needed to make you better. It's hard work and God Bless them for helping me get better.

My experience was terrific. I couldn’t ask for better care. Absolutely everyone there is very kind and professional. After months of therapy for a fractured kneecap I finished with almost 100% improvement. If I ever need therapy again I’d definitely go there!

I had such a great experience with Athletico! I have long term problems with movement and Jeff worked with me for months thinking of creative exercises to tackle my problems, helping me get on my feet. The staff have always been super nice and friendly to me and my mom when we went in for appointments. I would definitely recommend them 😊

Everyone at Athletico has been very helpful and supportive to my wife’s rehab.Courtney and Destiny at the front desk are always friendly and cheerful when we arrive and helpful when we have questions.Virginia and Nathan helped challenge my wife to help strengthen her knees and have more balance, always being patient but having a good attitude and humor.We will definitely come back when we resolve the insurance issues that we are facing. These are good people we actually looked forward to seeing each week!

The therapists at Athletico are fabulous! I had rotator cuff surgery and have been going in for therapy for the past 12 weeks. The progress I've made is amazing! Diane and Kylie are very knowledgeable as can be seen in the progress I've made. The girls assisting on the floor and in the office are wonderful. I highly recommend Atlético Physical Therapy Tucson Central Clinic for the following reasons:
*Nathan Tenney is one of the best PTs I have worked with ( and unfortunately I have had many.)He was recommended to me by Brian Zukowski ( who was the PT for my first knee replacement ) Nathan is a true professional. His expertise in working with knee replacement clients is evident in all realms of his work. He is patient, listens to concerns, cares about all aspects of one’s healing, applies his past experiences to one’s individualized program. I felt safe under his care, I trusted him immediately which is important coming off a surgery. He pushed me, listened to my concerns and encouraged me. One of the strengths, among many that Nathan has is he says things quietly and softly that makes you pay attention. I remember vividly at the beginning of my 25 sessions with him I made the comment that I just wanted to sleep and rest. He quietly said “well you can choose to do that but it is not the best thing for recovery” That was the hook I needed to get over myself, kick in and put all my energy into getting well. Through his guidance I am healing, getting stronger and am pain free. His knowledge of knee replacement surgeries and post op care is exemplary.
* The staff at this location is also excellent. The front desk women are patient, caring and professional -always with a smile and pleasant greeting.

When I tore my rotator cuff I was thinking probably surgery was in my future! My Dr. Suggested I try physical therapy first. I have never needed physical therapy before but it did the trick! My therapist Sarah got my arm back to full mobility! Of course I did my part too by doing my exercises everyday. Every visit to the office I went to on Pima was greeted with the a smile. The staff there is great!! ( Destiny, Michelle and Mikaela thanks for your kindness) Heaven forbid I should need physical therapy again but if I do I know where I'm going! Thank You!

I especially appreciate that my appt time was not shared with a number of other patients. One on one tells me Athletico values their patients and sincerely wants them to recover. I visited the Pima location. It was clean every visit, the staff was professional and polite every visit and my therapist, Jeff, seemed genuinely interested in my recovery. This location will be my choice if I need therapy in the future. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

When the alloted time for physical therapy was over, I felt much more able to feel the strength in my body and the balance overall to prevent falling. I really appreciated how Nathan considered all of my issues in building a program for me, specifically. He listens carefully and addresses your concerns kindly, which made my time there a truly successful experience.

I chose Noonan Physical Therapy for help with pain and lack of mobility in both of my shoulders because they were conveniently located and had morning and evening appointments that fit into my work schedule. I was fortunate to have drawn Dr. Emily Mason as my therapist, she is knowledgeable, compassionate and really cared about my well being. I made remarkable progress under her expert care.

Everyone was kind, respectful and courteous. Technician Jacob Llamas always made doing the exercises into a fun time. It was a pleasure to go to every appointment. I want to thank Emily, and all the staff, for helping me regain my life. I highly recommend Noonan Physical Therapy.

It’s been great for my recovery from a bad fall on my knee. Kylie is very knowledgeable and explains my treatment thoroughly. Dianne is also very good. Through several years I’ve been to three PT places and by far this is the best. Highly recommend it.
