Redington Pass Dispersed

Spots for camping just off the steep hill and what a spectacular view snow capped and sun shining

The view is amazing!!!!! I wouldn't want to pull anything bigger than our pop out camper up. We made it pretty far up the pass. The wind was blowing when we got there but not too terribly and eventually died down. However, once the storm front started moving in the wind picked up pretty high where we were parked at on the top. Looooots of OHV traffic during the day. Silent at night.

Nice drive up with excellent views of Tucson and the pass. It's interesting how the desert can change the higher up you go. The road is partially paved leading to a dirt road which is in fair I y good shape. We drove a Hyundai SUV without any problems. I wouldn't try it without a decent 4x4 during the rainy season.

Love this place! There are primitive roads so make sure you have AWD and can drive comfortably on tight steep roads. The views are definitely worth it, and plenty of cutoffs to pull over and admire the vista views, hike and camp. There were lots of 4 wheelers and ATVs.

Beautiful place to camp until the weekend. When hundreds of people came up on 4x4s etc and ran up and down the road dusting me out. Just won't go on weekends again. I really enjoyed it during the week.

Beautiful country side and water when running. Nude sunbathing and hiking is an added plus as well

Great place for dirt bikes. Also great views to paint 🎨.

Views like you wouldn't believe

Easiest place to go camping while still having a great view above the city. Roads are pretty well kept for being a mountain pass as well. No bathrooms, picnic tables or trailer hook ups which i find makes a more authentic camping experience.

It was happening as I was riding my gravel bike up!! They did a great job and they were very respectful to me being on a bicycle :)

Amazing place to camp out for while and amazing that we can bring our dogs up here as well!

It is an excellent place to see the city from and count the stars. Got to see a big falling, it was blue and quite bright

Beautiful hiking trails and views. It looks like road has not been maintained since monsoon season started, little rough at spots but doable. Make sure to check the weather before you go.

Top of the line experience.
Camping is excellent best views of the city that I know.
Complete dry camping bring your supplies. There's also a gas station down the hill.

Amazing off road and trail to TV falls . Go far enough and you'll find the land of the giant saguaros......you'll know when you get there

Love it here especially when the waterfalls are going and camping is great too beautiful views and lots of spots already have a fire pit built

It's pretty righteous camping here and then hitting the falls early. Or just take the pass all the way through to San Manuel, and hit Mel's to get fish fry.

I've been going to Redington Pass for the past 50 years and I still love it out there. The road is dirt and a bit too rough for a passenger car but a SUV can handle it just fine

Love it there. It's my quiet place. LEAVE IT wild open its like going to the country, not touristy, boxed in or fenced in. Come and go as you like and wonder freely.👍🤙👍
